Does anyone have tips for Crisanta?

Hey everyone! Been playing Blasphemous the last month after I got it and its sequel for $10 on the eShop summer sale. I’ve loved this game, really enjoyed my time with it. I think I’m nearing the end now as well. I’ve gotten to Crisanta, and she’s definitely giving me a lot of trouble. I was wondering if anyone might be able to share some tips to make the fight more manageable.

I have maxed out my health; I have six flasks (upgraded once); my Mea Culpa is Level 6 and all available skills at that point are unlocked; I have five Rosary slots, and I’ve equipped health reinforcement, defense buff, dodge cooldown, dodge distance, and attack buff when out of heals; I have the quicker attacks prayer equipped; I usually manage to get Crisanta down to the second phase (4 or so segments of health done, and she starts teleporting).

The fight itself isn’t difficult, but I’m not skilled enough to keep up with it and was wondering if anyone can provide some tips or pointers.

Thank you to the whole community in advance! Y’all are awesome 🙂

The Ramparts of Ice is really good!

So yeah, I had my eye on this one for a while and with the season now being complete, I gave it a go. I ended up loving it! The characters are incredibly nuanced, its handling of some surprisingly complex subjects is incredibly deft, the animation style and voice performances are all excellent, and it might have my favorite ending song in years.

I love romance and slice of life anime, and I’d say this one is, so far, one of the strongest ones I’ve seen in years; the only recent one that compares is Fragrant Flower from last year. I especially love how the story doesn’t shy from giving its characters actual nuance and depth, and is significantly better at writing conflicts, with misunderstandings that arise from differing perspectives and interpretations rather than singular miscommunications

Anyway, yeah, fantastic show. Can’t wait for season 2. As someone with severe social anxiety due to past trauma and experiences I resonated very hard with it. Koyuki is best girl, and a top tier waifu as well.

Digimon Story Time Stranger or Granblue Fantasy Ragnarok?

Both Digimon Story Time Stranger and Granblue Fantasy have come out on the same day. These are both games I’ve been interested in, but not enough to be sold on getting both day one.

Now that both are out, I am trying to decide which one to go with. I am wondering if this is something someone who may have played both games might be able to help with: which of the two is better?

I love turn based monster collection RPGs, and loot grinding action RPGs. I’ve played the Digimon demo and while I liked it, I wasn’t convinced to spend money on the full game right away. I know Granblue has a demo but sadly I haven’t had the time to play it.

Would anyone who has played both be able to share their insights?

In Canada, a Switch 2 with every single exclusive and a Pro controller is cheaper than a Steam Machine 😭

Are you satisfied with Switch 2’s third party support situation as of right now?

The Switch 2 is increasingly starting to get included for multiplatform releases, often day and date - in the last few weeks, we’ve had Resident Evil Veronica, Alien Isolation 2, Final Fantasy 7 Revelations, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Raymon Legends Retold, Attack on Titan 3, Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, plus we know games like 007 First Light, LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight, and No Rest for the Wicked are all coming to the system, but a little later than the other versions.

In the past, third party support has commonly been cited as one of the weak points of a Nintendo platform. The Switch started to improve the situation on that front, and the Switch 2 only seems to be continuing to build on that success with strong early momentum. We’re basically one full year out from the Switch 2’s release - at this point how would you say the third party situation is, in your opinion?

FF7 Remake director hints Part 3 will launch on all platforms at the same time

Hamaguchi has just given an interview (translated and summarized by Genki on Twitter, posted via Install Base, and it seems he is hinting at a day and date release for FF7 Remake Part 3 on all platforms:

- They are aware that "players want to get excited at the same time."
- Seriously considering how to release the game on multiple platforms in a way that is best for both fans and as a business.
- Says fans want to "share the same time" so they will present the final answer in a way that meets those expectations.

My tier list of every console I’ve ever personally played (ready to be judged 😭)

I’m not including anything here that I didn’t own or at least play extensively via friends/roommates/cousins/etc. Unfortunately this means I miss out on most of Sega’s consoles. What I did get to play was the Dreamcast, which was great and which I did include.

Anyway, judge away! Pls don’t be too mean 😭
