Goddamn this summer is freaking crazy hot. Hope everyone is good.

At some point in the past, I threw a half rotten half sweet onion from the fridge into the planter that the squirrels kicked around a little bit. I've no clue how onions propagate so I'd hate to claim these came from that. Regardless, they're hung and curing and I'm a little bit proud.
This is well within my top five favorite sandwiches but I can only do it every so often.
Albacore (?) with onion, celery, pickles, mayo, Dijon, Tapatio, and S&P. Fritos. Damn good lunch.
After eagerly plowing through 1-6, I hit a wall about a quarter of the way through The Surgeon's Mate. Mostly because the only time I really had time to read was in bed, a few pages at a time with nothing really registering in my memory.
Up until this vacation, I hadn't picked it up for a few months at least. I restarted it this Monday with plenty of time to read and just finished it a few minutes ago.
Wow. I'm invested again. The entirety was great but the last third was just excellent, exciting fun.
It got delivered on Thurs. He burned it off yesterday and tonight is doing "90 minute ribs" on it.
I'm super skeptical and I've been giving him nothing but shit.
Im hoping for me to be proven right while hoping for him that I'm proven wrong.
I just got this finished up and, I've got to say, I think it may be the most badass body tamiya has come out with. Looks sooo good and has made me dive into the Group 5 cars hard.
It was my first TT-02 and built mostly stock with added bearings, cva dampers, and low friction pivot balls.
The decals were something else but, man, Tamiya has those so well engineered that, if you take the time, they fit absolutely perfectly and look incredible.
Sandwiches almost everyday for lunch this week. This was the best one by far.
Cheddar, pepperjack, and the ham for lunch. It was great but I need a nap.
I found a good looking rump roast on sale and figured it was time again.
Beef seasoned with S&P, garlic and onion powder, and Mexican orgegano.
Ran the grill at ~350 for maybe an hour and a half until the beef hit 130.
Served up on griddled bolillo rolls from the grocery store bakery with packet au jus. Damn good.
Im a big Saab fan and have a TT02 on the way (Zakspeed Capri) and wondered if there's a 1/10th Saab 99 body out there I could put on it. Nope, there doesn't seem to be. I've now gone down the rabbit hole of deciding I want to make one myself.
I just got this printed out at the short wheelbase length (251mm) of the TT02. The idea is I'm going to use this model (cleaned up of course) as a vacuum form mould.
Really, this'd be better off on a more rally-centric chassis (XV-0*) but, because I have the TT02 on the way, that's what I'm shooting for for the time being.
...like four freaking years ago and never said anything. In my anger and excitement, I decided to tell him what he needed.
Edit: I apparently didn't make it clear that, in the video, this is my Mastertouch and my useless metal garbage. This was sent to my buddy when I found out that he'd bought one way back without saying anything and only sent a pic of it running for the first time tonight. We like to tell each other how stupid we are. It is what it is.
