I wonder what Berry Gordy and Don King think about their portrayal in the movie?

Gordy is 96 and King is 94 years old. I wonder what they think about the movie. They don't portray Don King in very flattering way. :D

I hope they continue showing Michael watching movies in the sequel

I really liked how they did so in the first movie. It was great see him watching things he got inspired by. I hope this continues. Especially for Smooth Criminal and Dangerous.

Is this a mistake in the 1995 performance?

I wonder what that bright spot like is that appear back there for a moment and then gets switched off. I wonder if Michael was actually supposed to do the dance there but didn't for some reason and the light guys got a bit confused. Or not?

I love the performance.

Michael didn't actually see Night of the Living Dead like the movie shows

In the movie we see him watching Night of the Living Dead (1968) on TV but in the 1999 interview he is asked if he did and he says no.

I actually liked those kind of scenes in the movie so I don't mind. Also NOTLD is one of my favorites so I was happy to see it used. I hope in the sequel they show him watching The Band Wagon before making the Smooth Criminal video.

How should they do 2000s if they skip the trial?

I hope they include the trial but I feel like there is a chance that they won't. Maybe Estate just gets cold feet and wants safer movie again after seeing the success of the first movie.

Lets assume for a moment that happens and you are tasked to decide how they hande 2000s. What do you do?

I would:

-Making of Invincible and making You Rock My World music video

-30th Anniversary shows and 9/11 happens. We see Michael's reaction and then they show the United We Stand benefit concert. They could show Man in the Mirror performance and his speech.

-Then the movie skips to 2009 and we see his death

Would be interesting to see that Man in the Mirror. I think its possible if they mention 9/11 happening after 30th Annoversary shows. Would that be something that distracta from the story or do you want to see it? I hope we see it.

Maybe we finally get the real footage of Man in the Mirror performance. Not in the movie of course.
