About the Dilly sisters
Miriam and Nelly Nuñez, a.k.a the Dilly sisters, are actual sisters who grew up in Los Angeles. Nelly is the older sister and Miriam is the younger sister. The sisters would sing and play guitar on the Banana Splits show. As they grew up, the two quit show business. Nelly is a retired police officer and Miriam is a tenured college professor at California State University.
