Dying new growth

I'm only watering when the soil is completely dry, when I do water it its with the liquid fertilizer "organic indoor houseplant food" - I'll be buying thr cactus one soon as I get the time 😅, its facing a west facing window, there is a vent that blows cold air to keep the house cooler that sits above the window (I'm thinking the cold draft is causing it?), and there is some white fuzzy stuff. I don't remember seeing it when I purchased it in the plant shop but I could've missed it. Any suggestions that could help me? Please and Thank You 😊

*sigh* idk

Okay two things, this brightest leaf took literally a whole month to un ravel.. 😑 I'm pretty sure its cause of low humidity?

Second, what is going on with this top leaf? I'm thinking I might need to step back from fertilizing.

Little background story, put it in hydroponics to get more roots, brought the one bright leaf, 2 older leafs were sacrificed during that hydroponic time period.. but now with it being potted into new soil and weekly fertilizer watering am I doing too much..?

Conflicted

Was thinking hard pass with buying the switch 2, but now with their new sports resort I am possibly rethinking it. I know if animal crossing comes out with a new game I will fold like a chair.. the high price tags for games and controllers is also not cool. When the first switch came out I ended up trading it in for the latest xbox. There just wasn't enough games to play. Later on when animal crossing came out I bought the switch 😅.

I'm big on not wanting to get new stuff if what I have isn't broken. Do any of you guys still have the first switch and have the switch 2? Or did you guys end up getting rid of your switch 1 consoles to keep the switch 2? Sell me on why I should buy the switch 2 lol.

S24 ultra to S26 ultra messages

Got the new 26 ultra. I had what looked liked everything backed up. No messages from my previous phone are on the new 26. I saw somewhere that I needed to turn off RCS on both phone back up, close the app and clear the cache. Tried and backed up again and no messages.. any suggestions?

Don't worry I wont use hydroponics 🫪

Haha alright last time I posted I got ripped about hydroponics. This is new, never seen this type and wanted to be told how to keep this beauty alive and well. I was planning on taking it out of the pot and placing in some orchid bark, but then I saw on Google that it needs a different type of soil.. I believe it is a, Burrageara Nelly Isler.

Advice on this cutie?

I've always wanted to get one but I heard they are prone to spider mites? Any tips and ticks on how to keep it alive and thrive ✨️ 😉

Help me understand 😅

Zone 8b, Oregon. I have a Christmas cactus and we've had it for maybe 2-3 years. Its has only bloomed 1 time lol. It was already in bloom when I first got it and when it bloomed it was not in December.. but in February (this year) and just dropped its last flower in late May. I think there is new growth? I heard that to encourage blooming to put it in a dark closet? Currently summer here. I have her sitting on the a shelf near a North and East facing window. Bright sunny light in the morning and slowly fades throughout the day.

Should I fertilize through the summer months and then when should I move her to a darker room to stimulate blooms? Also have thought about repotting but not sure when in thr year to do that.

To chop or not to chop??

I've had my eyes on this plant for years, when I found it I immediately purchased. It was thriving and growing very fast. Some neglect occurred on my end, not keeping the soil moist and not enough light. I was considering chopping but now idk.. we moved, better lighting and I'm doing better with keeping the soil moist. There is a lot of new growth happening in previous spots where the older leaves died.. some leaves are crimping and I saw this one lady misting her's to prevent more crispy edges. And they are borderline translucent.

So do I chop & propergate the section or let her do her thing and see where life takes us??
