12 foil cards per pack, higher rates for enchanted and iconics as well as a unique serialized rarity added to Collector booster boxes. The new serialized Illustrious rarity will only have 6 cards and each will only have 23 copies as shown. These boxes will be available at LGS, RB store online and parks. How we feeling about these news guys? I’m a bit uneasy about collector boxes in general but glad they seemingly didn’t take from the regular boxes will see how these go once released.

Anyone know about this? Apparently there’s a wave 2 for ST01 coming haven’t heard much about it but hoping Bandai finally listened at least with this special set given the hype, really hope going forward availability isn’t as much of an issue and this is a start but we’ll see i suppose. Please don’t be paying these insane premium box prices currently!

Kind of nuts to see but I guess they finally did listen please don’t be out here paying these BS $500+ prices per box! Ask your stores about it they may be able to secure you a preorder and let’s hope this is a start to address the availability issue with FW.

The first two pages of my binder are my favorite card from each TCG I’ve opened/collected, some cool stuff and some not so cool lol. Most of these I pulled myself from a random one or couple box purchases but not all of them. I don’t really collect most of these heavily mainly Pokemon, One Piece, Dragon ball both, and mtg the rest as I mentioned were mainly from boxes/packs I would see at my LGS. I’m at 23 currently likely 24th spot will be Riftbound and 25th Naruto my goal is to get to 30. Was curious what is your guys number at no worries no need to list them all but what’s your total and what are your favorite ones to either play or collect? Also what is your favorite card from said game that you own? Doesn’t have to be expensive of course!

Meant to add this to the trailer post but unfortunately I couldn’t add pics on the comments so making a separate post for those who just want to see the cards and the info. Seems it’ll be another Leader system game how do you guys feel about the art so far and the leader system again? I liked that they didn’t do it in Gundam so not all their games are that way at least but I do think it fits a bit more on theme here, I’m curious on other people’s opinions on it do you think it runs the risk of being too close to OP or FW?

What are we thinking the price will be around release? I’ve seen more and more preorders at the 250-300 range I was expecting a bit higher but I guess the mangas didn’t go down too well with most people compared to last anniversary at least. So what are you expecting release prices to be around give or take? Was able to get one at 240 after shipping from flipside on eBay just now, was surprised such a big retailer dumped for 225 and such an amount (especially on eBay with fees). We thinking this one won’t be as hard to get as we might think or let’s hope even better has Bandai finally produced enough supply? Hoping to get a second box at around a similar price after release.

Really hope this is a wake up call for Bandai to do an invite system like they do with One Piece. Has anyone actually checked out or did just the bots eat this time?

It seems GD05 has been bought out at the sub $200 level and worse right on release day what a joke… insane demand (400+ boxes sold in a single day) plus scalping yeah we see the results. Im wondering do you guys think Bandai will do something or just the usual next set and forget it? Also do you guys think this will lead the game in the direction of scalping for future sets or do you think it’ll be contained to GD05 due to the hype and it being an anniversary set? I think it will be for now contained to this and GD01 but I’m curious what you guys think. Sucks release day had to end this way boxes selling almost over double MSRP and hell even the new player product being scalped to double MSRP the jokes really do write themselves. Cherish your GOOD LGSs guys especially in these times and man really do hope Bandai steps up or we are cooked with GD05.

All boxes at the $600 range bought out yesterday still no $800 sales, but what’s most interesting is the volume of sales happened just in the last couple days. We went from days without a single sale to this… I don’t think this is related to the whole LoTR Charlie hype fiasco so im curious why do you guys think it’s getting this new attention?

Totally natural demand guys nothing to see here!! Nah in all seriousness I made a post a couple days about Wilds Unknown and the price situation and was asking how you guys thought it would affect the rest of the game. Well… it seem to have caused insane buyouts mainly in Winterspell and to an extent Whispers as well (third pic is whispers) with Iconics going so crazy these sets are being wiped out. Likely people also priced out of Fabled and WU buying these as the next best thing with iconics. I’m curious though what do you guys think RB will do in response if anything at all (or do you not think they should) and will this make future sets harder to get at around MSRP similar to other games like Pokemon/OP? Idk if you guys have been here since the start but set 1 and somewhat 2 were hard to come by so RB reprinted it a bunch and increase supply to an even extreme extent as we saw with sets from Inklands-Jafar and how much they struggled to sell at anywhere near MSRP. With stuff like Monsters Inc coming out and Pixar becoming more of a focal point in the game I imagine this hype is here to stay at least for a bit but I am curious on your guys’ overall thoughts on this and what RB should do.

Found these for a decent price but I’m not familiar with vintage almost at all so unsure what to lookout for so was wondering are these legit? I appreciate any tips!

Kind of nuts how this set has been and not even a full month into release. I don’t believe it’s this wild due to unknown reasons I think the Buzz raw at over 4k clearly has skyrocketed the box, but I am curious with Fabled it was a mostly a reprint set so I could see why they cut production expecting lower sales and not really reprint it. This set though… is all new cards so what are you guys thinking about these insane prices are they sustainable or do you believe they’ll come down in subsequent reprint waves? I could perhaps see them doing what they did with set 1 originally with a bunch of reprints which helped bring it down but I am curious at that point would they also go ahead and reprint other sets like Fabled or what do you think/expect going forward in this seeming new boom period.

About two months or so ago I posted asking which you guys thought would win out… back then these two were around the same price actually TFC was higher, but well in the end it seems team fabled has definitively won out at $500 a box now so congrats to Team Fabled! First chapter has actually not moved almost lol which is why I didn’t include updated pic.

It seems the Mickey and Minnie iconics really ended up pulling through in the end even if it’s a mostly reprint set. Still $500 a box is insane though what do you guys think about it long and short term? Could this affect other sets or do you think it’ll says contained to Fabled and TFC? I lean that way but I’m curious what you guys think about this overall, also highly unlikely at this point but i guess i can still ask are you personally still expecting Fabled reprints at this point?
