Perks Fixed Now onto Gear Question

Thanks for the tips in previous post I fixed my perks, will delete old one in a moment so I don’t clutter the sub with a million questions. My question is and once again no particular build here of course. I’m currently running enhanced feline armor which I believe is called cat. Should I just try and grandmaster it or should I create the newly found wolven diagrams I just found. TIA

Not Sure What to Place Points In Any Recommendations

I know you can have builds in this game but I’m just your average Witcher trying to eventually beat the game after god knows how many years. Anyways I have 12 points and not even sure where to place them. Anything on screen is a must? Also will take recommendations for other pages if yall know stuff by heart. I know potions and oils can help but I hardly use them and I have the oil thing on where it’s automatic. Anyways any help is appreciated. TIA

Public Service Announcement Spend Those Tickets

To start off if you want gold bullion then hold onto
your tickets and let the new season start on June 2nd and whatever tickets you have they will convert to gold.

Now if you want to get what rewards you can get before the season ends try and at least spend them before 9AM EST on June 2nd. Servers more than likely will go down about 10AM. To be on the safe side I would have them spent by 8AM. So you have today and about till 9AM on tomorrow to spend. So if you work mornings then spend them sometime today so you don’t miss out UNLESS you want gold bullion then let them roll over.

I Assume Outer Worlds Spacer is Like The Witcher 3 Complete Edition?

I beat Outer Worlds when it first came out but never played the DLC. Now that this edition is out I was planning on playing the DLC but was greeted with a new game screen instead. I assume it treats this as a completely different game and will need to actually re beat the whole game again in order to play the DLC.

Do I Have to Give Up the Skeleton Key

I’ve kind of made it my mission to try for all the achievements in this game. I’m literally at the last bit for returning the thieves guild to former glory. I’m
Assuming to get this achievement I need to finish darkness returns correct. Two even if I do have to turn this quest in can I do a hard save finish all this up and get the achievement and then reload and continue playing with the skeleton key. Is there major benefits to fully becoming the guild master minus the extra gold from vendors. I’m actually approaching 100k in gold on my person. TIA

Good Time for Weed Killer Achievement/Trophy

Last achievement I got for 76 was back in April of 2024. Was doing the big bloom event and had my holy fire cause I knew we needed to kill something with fire. Haven’t played the event in awhile so wasnt sure what it was. Anyways killed like 6 overgrown with the HF and I heard the achievement pop was like what the hell lol. Anyways this is for people who care/semi care about achievements. I know you can’t easily go to an expedition but some people don’t run them.

Should All RPGs Have a Respec Feature?

I know not allowing adds to decisions and consequences but I feel sometimes it can somewhat take the fun away. I also understand it can add replay to a game try different things. Some games I feel it takes to long to fully try a different character or build. I’m currently playing Skyrim and if I wanted to try let’s say a light armor sneak archer build then I would either need to fully restart or keep ranking up high enough to get enough perk points to put points in all three categories to try it. Anyways should more RPGs have the ability to respec or it is what it is?

For the LOVE OF GOD

WTF do I go to progress this stage. I’ve been snatched up like 20 times trying to figure out where to go from this roof. I use the compass and the shit points back to where I came and it some how leads to the roofs no matter what. This is the Outpost map where the radio tower is on the roof. TIA

EDIT: I found the damn hole in the floor. Jesus Christ…I’ve been running around wiping my damn mask for like 30min straight.

Achievements Completely Stopped Unlocking

Has anyone here had a game completely just stopped unlocking achievements altogether? Not all games just a single game. I posted a few weeks ago about Metro 2033 Redux progression just stopped on me. So I said I’ll wait it out and come back and try again. I went back to a chapter that has a real simple achievement and I’ve tried over and over again to trigger the achievement with no luck. Minus that achievement all progress bars have stopped. At this point I feel my only option to continue getting achievements for this game would be to start a brand new save but I really don’t want to do that. If you’ve had a game completely stop on you what did you do to reenable progression. I’ve already tried clearing local save data.

Guess Xbox Series X is Dying and Don’t Know What Else to Do

Beat RE4 yesterday with no issues. Got on today and continued playing Skyrim. Skyrim all of a sudden started having these freeze issues and would unstick after about 10-15secs. Eventually I was like ok I’ll just move the game over to internal. Currently had it installed on my external drive. It stopped moving about 50% through. Tried to cancel it and figured I’ll just freshly install it to internal drive. Well it wouldn’t cancel the transfer and I can’t clear it from queue. So I did a hard reset and booted it back up and it still won’t let me clear the queue. Next I tried fully shutting off and unplug the power for 30secs and that still didn’t work. I assume my SSD is failing or dead or something cause all the games I have installed on the internal won’t boot at all. I end up finally getting a 0x8008005 error and when I look it up I just see stuff about restarting Xbox. As far as restarting the Xbox it restarts fine but I can’t do anything that involves the SSD. Any ideas would help before I call it quits.

EDIT: SMH…after trying No Man’s Sky on the cloud for the hell of it. I was able to clear the queue and RE4 started up. I don’t know what the hell is going on but it’s working again.

Was a Pretty Good Game

Just beat RE4 for the first time. Overall was a pretty good game. I’ve only beaten 2,3,4,5,7,8, and 9. Out of what I’ve beaten my fav would probably be and don’t kill me is Village probably based on the “horror” aspect of the RE series. There’s a scene in 8 where you’re under the house in the cellar for the first time and you’re slowly walking and from the shadows comes the infected. That scene was so dope to me. Anyways here’s hoping I’m around for RE X.

Finally made it to season 4 of the Witcher and the whole time as I’m watching the other seasons I dreaded the approach of season 4. I knew that Geralt had been replaced with Liam Hemsworth but I wasn’t ready for the switch. Henry in my eyes played the perfect Witcher. Not saying Liam will be bad because I just started season 4 but it’s hard already not seeing Henry playing the role and I felt Henry should have just finished the series based on the reasons why he left. There was suppose to be 5 seasons and that was it. I get personally why he did it but man it is what it is.

EDIT: Got the hems mixed up

I’m super late to the party but anyways. I got to this section of 2033 redux where you’re on a railcar firing going through this tunnel and omg. You couldn’t just have one stick control the whole turret no you needed to use both. One to move it and one to aim it. Then there was the brief part where you’re just stationary and there’s like 30 enemies coming out from all crawl spaces. Literally top tier worst control moment for me in gaming. Finally got past it though.

Anybody know where I can go to properly calibrate this TV. I tried myself on the whole do what looks good to you but something ain’t clicking. I mainly use my series x as my media hub and even tried calibrating through Xbox and it seems once something ain’t right. One of the things that was off was the mention of seeing open and closed eyes during the calibration stage. It mentioned that if I couldn’t see the closed eye that I needed to increase the TVs brightness. I did all that and it required that my brightness be turned all the way up to 100. Bear in mind local diming is on and set to high. In my head I feel the tv shouldn’t have to have the brightness cranked that high. While playing Fallout 76 just now I turned the brightness back down to around 55. Anyways I’m looking to see others specs or if there’s a place with some calibration settings. RTINGS has some new system so they’ve blocked everything unless you pay for something and I’m not buying TVs every week just see reviews and settings. TIA

Wish there was a logical answer to this but I own the Witcher 3 on disc. Took a break and uninstalled it. Currently watching the Witcher and was like you know I have the urge to play it. So I find it on GP and stream it. The game loads up but no save data. I get it’s the complete version on GP but the Witcher 3 is the Witcher 3. I feel I should be able to use my disc versions saves for the gamepass version. Now the gamepass version is the fully updated version with all the next gen bells and whistles. The disc version also has that cause as I’m installing the disc now I got the noti for downloading the upgrade which means my current saves had all the bells and whistles also cause I remember downloading all that when I first installed the game. I thought it was weird that the saves just don’t go with each other. I can understand certain content missing and save not be able to load that way.
