Need help/advice on marketing my web app—stuck on finding my first customer
I’ve built a web app that I’ve been working on for the past year. It’s a website audit and monitoring tool that runs a full checkup on any site—tracking SEO health, security, regulatory compliance, performance, and more. If you run a digital agency, you can completely customize the reports with your own branding/styling and send live white-label share links or PDFs straight to your clients.
Now that the app is 100% finished and polished, I’m stuck trying to land my very first paying customer. Similar enterprise tools in the market easily cost $100+ a month, whereas my flat pricing is just €19.99/mo (and €9.99 for each extra site).
What is the best way to market this? Should I try cold emailing agencies? Making TikToks/Shorts?
I also thought about finding a co-founder or marketing partner to handle this side of the project, but I can't afford upfront hiring costs right now, and finding someone willing to work purely on commission/revenue share is tough.
What are your thoughts? Any advice or strategies on how to get those first few users would be highly appreciated!
