13.3 yr old spayed and stomach tacked Dobie. Vaccinated on time, etc.
- just on a joint supplement and a good Purina brand food.
- Vestibular disease 5 weeks ago, has 80% recovered. Went to ER clinic, think she received some steroids.
- 2 weeks ago diagnosed with UTI from he’ll and showed only susceptible to Gentamycin & Amikacin. Started on Gent for 10 days with bloodwork every 2-3 days.
- Noticed not doing right 6 days ago (Gentamycin finished) Lethargic, shivering, uninterested in food for 2 days.
Bloodwork showed big increase in BUN 57 Creatnine 5.6. Started fluid therapy.
- fluid therapy continuing and on Saturday showed Bun up from 57 on Thurs to 76 Saturday & Creatinine up to 7.1 from 5.6 on Thurs.
- brought her in yesterday while continuing fluid therapy at home SQ. Expecting BUN & Creat to go up… It didn’t! It’s the same as 3 days prior. (Not sure if it went up on Sun and is going down, or just level)
- b12 inj, mirtazipine, cerenia (she’s not vomiting, no diarrhea) continuing fluids at home. She was and is more chipper, yesterday she ate 2/3 can of K/D, this morning nothing but a couple of small milk bones.
- today fluids on drip IV at clinic, bloodwork in 2 days. Continuing Cerenia SID, Mirtazipine SID and B12 inj (once weekly).

Any advice you can give me? What would you do different? (My wife is her treating DVM). She’s not eating enough!

We did a thing and on Friday traded in my wife’s 2012 Volvo XC T6 and got her a 2023 BMW Xdrive 30i she picked out. She had been looking for months and test drove 2 and said no to them due to not having the options she wanted.

Finally found a low mileage (26K mi) one that had real leather, cooled and heated seats, heated steering wheel, HUD, H&K sound and some other things she desired and liked we have in our 2018 Volvo XC 90 T6 Inscription her old Volvo lacked.

I drive the 2018 Volvo XC90 (97K miles) and use it to go to travel for work about 4 times per month or take our 1 yr old to daycare. My daily is a 20 year old F250 diesel truck with 355K miles.

Have been wanting a fun car and looked at older Porsche 911’s but my wife said NO, you can get it but I won’t drive in it with you. So my search changed to Porsche Macan GTS and BMW M-cars.

Test drove a 2023 Xdrive M550i 32K miles with shadow line package, M package, executive package, HUD, DAP, massaging heated/cooled seats, etc and totally in love! Wife said she would travel in it! Will be my fun car and garage queen.

So we came home with both! Both under factory warranty and we added extended warranty and maintenance
packages as we tend to keep our cars 10 years or longer.

Got about a dozen fruit. Is there something I can spray my trees with that won’t harm them to repel/kill bugs?

I have 3 personal cards a BCP, Hilton Aspire and Platinum. Always paid in full.

Recently I opened a Business Blue 2% cashback card. But I’m really interested in the Plum but don’t see that being available anymore. Did they do away with it? Is it possible to get one by calling them?

My business isn’t my/our main source of income. I’m a small potatoes sole proprietor endeavor. I have a separate checking account and my business blue in order to keep things separate.
At times I can use what the plum offered. Any other card with someone else out there that does the same without dinging my personal credit score even if I’m a sole proprietor?

Also curious about carrying a balance on the Business Blue, at most 60 days, until payment is received and how that may impact my personal cards…

My wife is trading in her 2012 Volvo XC60 T6 for a 2021 BMW X3 xdrive 30i. We test drove a 2023 Volvo XC60 also and peeked and sat in a Lexus NX and some other compact luxury SUV’s. But she settled on the X3.

I have to say that the spec she picked out with Convenience Package & Executive Package and some other options is fun to drive, offers a lot of tech and luxury with Harmon Kardon, heated and cooled seats, etc and quiet compared to the newer XC60 or my 2018 Volvo XC90 T6 Inscription with all options.

Anyway, we’ve talked a long time about getting a fun car for me and the 2020 Base Porsche 911 was a no go for her. She told me I can have it, but she won’t go near it. And she’s right! We can’t take her and our 1 year old with us doing some weekend driving/exploring/overnighting.

So I’ve started researching and came across the 2020/2021 M550i Xdrive with low miles. I’ve not been able to test one out yet.

I am looking for sound, response, won’t ever go over speed limit but more than 10. Value comfort, luxury, able to take wife and daughter on roadtrips.

This wil be a Weekend car for me. My daily is a Volvo XC90 T6 Inscription with all options. How has the M550i been for you with wife and child?

Does anyone have a recommendation for silica packets?
I would like to store some of my collection in a bank safe and make sure moisture isn’t an issue for some of my watches that don’t have screw down crowns. Looking for smaller ones like you would find in a medicine bottle so I can a fit couple of them inside their cases.
