Recommendation for Kimi ? Looking for providers. I’m Working with Unity MCP / C#
Hello
My subscription with anthropic will be ending on the 27th June, and I’ll be replacing that with either increasing my openAI subscription to 20x or looking to fill the slot with Kimi
Could the community recommend me a subscription based provider for Kimi K3 and harness?
I’m presuming something like cursor, however if there is a cheaper solution (for example a native Kimi code application) that supports a subscription model with generous limits, I’d be happy to jump on that.
My budget is about 90 dollars per month
Thanks

Feeble 5 is dum (or in an intelligence valley)
It feels like an intelligence improvement over 4.8, but it has also grown the reasoning brain of a child. Impressive, but still incredibly dumb.
I gave Feeble Five a Unity task. It spent about 45 minutes failing because it never loaded or used the MCP server, and never told me the server was down. It just spent 40 minutes working in the dark.
I think they are in an intelligence valley.
I can be impressed by a crow, the world’s most intelligent bird, but that does not make it good at coding. All the Anthropic hype around “J-space” feels more like a pet science project than a product.
It is cool, but it is also a regression.
Playground Games - Please fire whoever designed opponent AI
How did this pass quality control? I'm surprised no one in the development team had words.
- They have perfect traction during weather events
- They turn programmatically PERFECTLY (like their following a spline rather than steering),
- When you are ahead they sheepishly hang behind
- When the lead is ahead it creates a massive time gap between 2nd place.
- They rigidly follow the racing line, like they're on springs
- The only way of getting 1st on some tracks is two hammer the first two corners
Also how did the game director ok this?
Help! What’s wrong with my garden 😭
I sent this to my mum but she’s at work. Please help internet mum
Tempted after drinking
Hello I had a lot of whiskey and I'm finding it quite hard not to have a smoke.
America Just Banned Foreign Nationals From a Frontier AI. Europe Should Treat That as the Alarm.
America Just Banned Foreign Nationals From a Frontier AI. Europe Should Treat That as the Alarm.
If access to frontier AI can be switched off by government order, it starts to look less like software and more like a strategic asset, arguably the closest thing this century has to a nuclear-era technology race.
A reported US government directive required Anthropic to suspend access to its most advanced AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5, for foreign nationals. Whether temporary or limited in scope, the message is clear: frontier AI is increasingly being treated as a national security issue.
Europe should pay attention. If advanced AI systems are strategic assets, dependence on foreign providers is a vulnerability. Access can be restricted when governments decide national interests come first.
An uncomfortable question also arises: is this purely about security, or could it be retaliation for Anthropic not being selected for Pentagon contracts and for aligning more closely with ChatGPT in parts of the market? There is no evidence for that claim, but the timing and politics will inevitably invite speculation.
The lesson for Europe is simple, regulation is not enough. Europe needs its own AI capabilities, computing infrastructure, and competitive models. Otherwise, decisions made elsewhere will increasingly determine what Europe can access and build.
The reported Anthropic restrictions are a reminder that frontier AI is becoming strategic infrastructure. Europe should respond with investment, capability, and urgency.

Fable / Frontier Model monetisation prediction
Hi, human here with human opinion
Free AI will exist, but it will be routed through smaller models, ads, ecosystem lock-in and upsell. Paid consumer tiers will act as the anchor, but they will not be truly unlimited: heavy users will hit credits, caps, queues, cheaper-model routing or “fair use” limits. Light users subsidise power users until the economics stop working.
I believe AI monetisation will look less like YouTube or Spotify, and more like AWS + Adobe + a mobile data plan.
AI is live compute. Long context, reasoning, agents, code execution, image/video generation and tool use all create a variable cloud bill every time the user asks for something difficult.
The serious revenue is enterprise and professional workflow lock-in, closer to Adobe or Autodesk. Once AI is embedded in codebases, design tools, DCC pipelines, office suites, browsers, CRMs and company memory, customers are no longer paying for a chatbot; they are paying because the workflow now depends on it.
Ads may fund low-stakes discovery, but not the highest-tier models. Hidden ad incentives inside an assistant are much more corrosive than ads beside media.
Game streaming is the warning case: impressive tech, bad standalone economics. It survived mostly when bundled into broader ecosystems. AI likely follows the same path: free commodity AI, prosumer subscriptions, enterprise seats, usage billing and trusted-access frontier capability. The product is not just software; it is rationed intelligence plus workflow dependency.
How Paralives exploited early access & goodwill
Paralives Studio is exploiting the goodwill around Early Access.
This is not about expecting a finished game. Early Access means bugs, missing content and unfinished systems. That is normal.
The issue is that Paralives is being sold in a way that pushes the risk onto customers while protecting the studio.
The strongest parts of the game are front-loaded, character creation, building, visual style, cosy branding and the promise of what the game will become. The weakest and most important part appears to be Live Mode. The actual life-sim loop.
Players can easily spend Steam’s two-hour refund window creating characters, building homes, reading tutorials and setting up households before they properly discover the real state of the core gameplay. By then, the customer has paid, the studio has the sale, and the refund route becomes much harder.
Steam’s own Early Access rules say customers should buy based on the current state of the game, not future promises. But Paralives’ current state is not being made clear enough. The store page sells the dream of a cosy, fully realised life sim, while the reality is a paid build where Live Mode still needs major bug fixing, optimisation and quality-of-life work.
This is not a few isolated bugs. Paralives reportedly received over 100,000 bug reports in less than a week. That is not a cute community milestone. That is mass customer QA on a paid product.
The studio is also not in the position of having no money. They have said launch sales are enough to sustain their small team for years. SteamDB also shows hundreds of thousands of estimated owners. So the question is obvious: if the game has generated that much money, why is the burden still being placed so heavily on paying customers?
A small team is not an excuse for unclear expectations. If the product is too large for the current team, then the honest options are to delay release, lower the price, narrow the scope, hire QA, expand support, or make the Steam page brutally clear about the current state of Live Mode.
Instead, Paralives benefits from cosy branding, community defence, Early Access protection, and unpaid player testing.
A company can be indie, charming and well-liked while still using Early Access in a way that is unfair to customers. “Wholesome” branding does not make a business practice ethical.
Early Access should mean unfinished but honestly represented.
Paralives sold 250000 copies at 30 plus dollars within eight hours of its launch. People should be a lot more angry.
The Renters Rights Act 2026 Information Sheet MUST be sent to you by the 31st May. This deadline has now passed. If they have not, they can be fined up to £7000
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-renters-rights-act-information-sheet-2026
If you can not find your renters rights act in your inbox as a PDF (a link will not do) or you were not supplied with a physical copy then report them to the council
Here is an email address and template you can use
To: private.housing@bristol.gov.uk
Subject: Report: Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026 not provided
Private Housing Team,
I am a private tenant in Bristol and I am reporting that my landlord / letting agent did not provide me with The Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026 by the required deadline of 31 May 2026.
Name: [your name]Rental address: [your full rental address]Tenancy start date: [date]Landlord name, if known: [landlord name]Letting agent, if applicable: [letting agent name]Landlord / agent contact details, if known: [email / phone / address]
I have checked my emails, text messages, tenancy documents and post, and I have not received the official Information Sheet PDF or a printed copy from my landlord or letting agent.
I understand from GOV.UK that most landlords and letting agents were required to provide this Information Sheet to tenants by 31 May 2026, and that failure to do so may result in enforcement action or a financial penalty.
Please confirm whether this is something your team can investigate and whether you need any further evidence from me.
I can provide copies of my tenancy agreement, emails, messages, or other relevant documents if required.
Kind regards,
[your name][your phone number][your email address]
Only report this if your landlord or letting agent did not actually provide you with the official sheet. Getting it yourself from GOV.UK is not the same as the landlord/agent providing it. Also, don’t use this template if they did provide it properly by the deadline.
Build mode is very buggy. I suggest QA focus on this area.
This is not a specific bug post, I've submitted several bugs but at this point I feel like the QA department should step in. It breaks the fun submitting bugs the whole time.
Generally I've found build mode to be quite frustrating and broken the immersion. I've struggled placing pillars using snap mode, I've found the wall thickness feature result in misshaped corners. I've found the floor jut off at strange angles, I've loaded the game and found half the floor missing.
Are you skipping the build mode completely?
3 weeks today 🎂🎉 pros and cons
My last post (two weeks) had a lot more negatives than positives, I think despite the heat wave I’m hitting more positives!
So here’s my update
The negatives
- bad stomach issues (is this a permanent health thing I now wonder)
- Still conditioned. very occasional sense that I’m ‘missing’ something
- jealously : cravings especially when smelling weed the air
- anxiety is surfacing a lot more
- lost a hobby because of association
- some feelings of shame
And the positives
+ energy is now more consistent
+ clarity
+ money used on it is now helping with home
+ less ‘mistakes’ (you know, the odd forgetful fuck up and such)
+ feeling a little more respectable and whole
+ available to anyone 24/7 and reliable! This is a big one, it makes me a dependable person
+ mood is stabilising, a lot less irritable
+ I’m using my brain when talking, my words are a lot more creative, I have a bit of rizz and can joke
+ A LOT better at games, I can 4D chess again haha
Support delayed by Months and only partial refund
Despite a clear violation of trade laws here in the UK for misleading consumers on restrictive usage limits I had only received a partial refund that didn’t cover the time period of falsely advertised product features.
The upside is that I have had a partial refund, which is better than some.
For those in Europe, if you have had a subscription between November 2025 and March 2026 you are eligible to receive a refund. You can alternatively contact your local trading standards office (if in the UK).
Day 14! Big wins and big losses
Hello
Here’s an honest appraisal so far, I hope to add some more positives soon
Daily smoker, from wake up to sleep. I’m a reasonably old man.
+ saved some money
+ can drive my car when ever I like
+ extra rizz on discord calls
+ healthy appetite for real food
+ looking buff and fresh
+ present for people
- anxiety (awareness)
- night-sweats
- nightmares
- boredom
- extremely irritable
- unsociable stomach issues
- massively sleepy in the middle of the day
- depression
The trend of validating if something is made with AI or not has to stop. It is damaging for artists.
As an artist myself, I hate this trend of having to validate if work is made with AI or not. Artists were initially a victim of big tech hoovering and plagiarising work through generative art.
Now they are a victim of people in and around the games industry itself, dragged through the mud if they get some proportions wrong or if they have created something too 'perfect'.
Stop asking artists to create glossy, generic art capsules.
Use artists for their style and what they can bring. Start asking artists to create something that they would produce themselves. In the industry we call it 'thumb'. You add 'thumb' to your clay models or your drawings. It shows the craftsmanship behind it. Thumb can also be your line work, pencil markings, your particular signature style and errors make up a drawing with soul.
So when you next commission your art capsule, ask yourself 'WHY do I need a hand drawn capsule?'
When you find that answer use it to your advantage, you're an indie solo developer after all.
DOW release thoughts
The new “alien disclosure” / UFO release is interesting, but honestly I’m not seeing much that feels genuinely groundbreaking yet. A lot of it seems like recycled military footage, testimony, and vague statements without hard evidence.
What I do find interesting is how divided the community is right now. Some people think this is slow-drip disclosure and that governments are preparing the public for something bigger. Others think it’s mostly media hype.
And then there’s the theory going around that this is being pushed as a distraction from the Epstein files and related coverage. From what I’ve seen, that idea is definitely popular online, especially on X and Reddit conspiracy communities. But I don’t think there’s actual evidence connecting the two it mostly seems driven by distrust of institutions and timing coincidences.
Curious where everyone here stands:
- Legit disclosure?
- Psyop/distraction?
- Or just the internet amplifying everything at once?
I think I may have over watered them, how can I tell if it’s under or over that has made them yellow
Also my girlfriend said ‘they’re shit and haven’t done anything’
I think they’re just rooting? I like them, they’ve settled in. But maybe they need something else?
