I saw this film at a surf film festivals a couple of years back and have been waiting for a chance to see it again. It’s honestly one of my favourite surf films of the last few years, and if you know me you know I like surf films.

It’s the story of the discovery of Nias and how that discover has changed the place. A commentary on how surf travel impacts communities. Rebecca, the director, isn’t preachy, she just tells the story and lets you make a judgement. It’s so well put together, with a good adventure story, intrigue, characters, comedy and of course good waves. If anyone has seen ‘Sea Of Darkness’ I feel this is the natural sequel to that film.

It’s online for a virtual screening lasting only 48hrs. It’s dirt cheap so well worth it at $4.99US.

Spread the word on this as I’m not sure when this will available to see again unless you catch it in the cinema as it’s still doing the rounds.
