Peer to Peer Model Downloads

I wonder why we download all those models from Hugging Face directly. Wouldn't it make sense to have a P2P/torrent distribution on top. That would speed things up and lighten the load on the Hugging Face servers, wouldn't it?

Or is there something special about how models are released that make them unsuitable for P2P sharing?

Our furniture store seemingly also is a retro computer museum now

They had quite a few nice looking vintage machines sitting around. 😄

Having a lot of fun with Aquapark Tycoon

Just in case you missed it, I wanted to let you know about the game. It's still in Early Access but has a decent amount of content to play with and I actually encountered not a single bug for the last three days I played. :)

I also appreciate that the customization is not that in-depth, which makes it a lot easier and faster to build a decent looking park. The management side is what you expect but works well enough and the UI is pretty good so early on.... just the slide construction is a bit finnicky and there are some obvious features still missing.

I made a documentary about Neo Software, the obscure but incredibly prolific 90s game studio that later became Rockstar Vienna.

Dune II: The C64 Demake Arok Edition

This looks amazing. Oo And not just as a graphics demo, but it looks pretty playable. Now there were computer mice for the C64... right? :D (I never had one)

Max Savage Released on Steam. (Retro SpaceSim with Planetary Exploration)

Hi everyone,

After more than nine months of work, my new game has finally hit Steam: Max Savage. Think Wing Commander meets Zelda, with a fully scripted, voice-acted story campaign and planet-side exploration.

There’s a free demo available, and it’s playable on Windows and Linux.

I hope you’ll give it a go.

Cheers,

Tim

AI-Disclosure:

The game uses AI-generated imagery for all comic illustration and planetary artworks.

I've created my very own MMORPG in Sierra's AGI land.

You can visit locations from Larry 1, Space Quest 1 and Police Quest 1. Chat with other players, get a job, earn money and XP, buy stuff and decorate.

You can also place down items you've bought and add little text descriptions for the other players to read.

There's not a ton to do yet, but it's a real game now, where you can progress and interact with other players. :)

PS: Linux version is also available.
PPS: No AI involved.

Are any of the new systems faster for getting Hero Crests than T11 Delves?

So with all the new features from last and the new update I wonder if they are faster to get hero crests than T11 delves. I don't care for gear... I have that on all the slots I could ever want, but I'm sorely missing more crests.

What if Rise of the Robots but with 60fps and in real-time 3D? 😲

Hello there,

I thought I'd share a little demo I created. I was so excited for Rise of the Robots when it launched for DOS, but... oh well... we all know what happened. 😅

So I wanted to try if I could pull of something that looked similar but for modern systems.

Now if anybody knows how to actually make a good fighting game... 😆

PS: No AI was used in making this prototype.

I've made another video reviewing modern point&click adventures. An enormous 8 games in one video this time around. 😄

This is the 6th episode in the series and still going strong. There are just so many great new games coming out for the genre!
