How can I blush and detail her with lighter colors?

She's my first custom doll. Her skin is so dark that trying to use red, orange, and yellow on her makes the colors all wrong. I was using watercolor pencils, just drawing on her. Should I use chalk pastels or paint instead? Also, would y'all blush her with traditional colors like pinks? Or colors like purple and light blue? Any and all opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I've got what I think is probably an unpopular opinion regarding Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the wind: Chris is a villain.

SPOILERS

Chris is a total villain, not intentionally, but he is. In Flowers, he's the reason they stay for so long, he's the reason he and Cathy are whipped and they're all starved, he's the reason they make that painting for the Grandmother that she rejects, he's the one who rapes Cathy. He's constantly belittling and talking down to Cathy when he's not telling her how beautiful she is.

In Petals, he's constantly telling Cathy he needs her, he's got to have her, she's the only one for him, he's the only one who'll understand her. He tries to rape her repeatedly throughout the book. He tries to talk her out of marrying Paul. In the end she marries Christopher, but I feel it's not because she loves him, but because she's tired of his constant, unending pursuit. She's just tired of fighting it and so she gives in. Even early in the book, she gives into his kisses a few times but she doesn't want them, she just gets momentarily overpowered by the pleasure.

I hate Chris. He's the worst. He's the reason Cathy has such a shit-show of a life. Sure, she makes poor decisions, but ultimately, I think some of them are based on the need to get Chris off her back. I only just restarted Petals, so I may be miss remembering some of it, but I think for the most part, I'm on point. Thoughts? Arguments? I'm dying to discuss this with someone who's read the books.

I think I have to leave my husband.

My husband and I have been married for 10 years, together for 11. We have 2 kids, 1 together and mine from a previous relationship. I love him. He's sweet and comforting. He can be very thoughtful and well, we have amazing sex. It's just not enough.

We often are broke so I don't ask for or expect gifts or to go on dates or go out much at all. However, when we do have money, I let him know that I *do* want those things. I don't expect a date to a super fancy restaurant or a diamond necklace. I don't even need or expect a gift and a date, but I want something. I almost never get a mother's day or birthday gift. If we do something for our anniversary, it's I who facilitates it. He doesn't even get me a card unless I specifically ask for one or our kids mention it. For valentines day, he got me a card and a box of chocolates... then he ate several of them without asking or even giving me a heads up.

He is ALWAYS on his tech. He always has to have a fucking screen in his hands. I want the kids to be on screens less but it doesn't matter what I say or do because he's always on them. For example, he uses his phone in the shower... the *shower*.

He doesn't communicate. He doesn't tell me how he's feeling, what he's thinking, or about his day. Even if I try to talk, he's not giving me his attention and he has nothing to add. There's no back and forth. I'll be talking with him and he'll be playing a game, and he'll half listen until he gets frustrated and pointedly puts down his screen. I tell him that hurts and he acts put out.

I feel like I have 3 kids and am a single mom. He doesn't help unless I ask 20 times or I explode from the stress and mess.

We're in therapy together. I'm trying. But even using the language and methods the therapist has been telling us about is not working. I tried last night to use her language and he said he just felt criticized. I'm at my wit's end. I love him. I want to be with him. I just don't think I can anymore.

Can a man with ADHD and autism overcome his symptoms to be a good partner and father?

Edit: I can't post this in Autism or ADHD subs because he looks at those and I don't want him to see it.

My [F40] husband [M42] was diagnosed with both ADHD and autism a few years ago. I love him deeply but we have a lot of issues.

I am trying to keep our kids [F15 & M9] off tech so much but he's nearly always on some form of tech (phone, computer, Nintendo, iPad) so it doesn't hold any weight. I can't rely on him to get any chores done without procrastination, asking multiple times, or several reminders and forget about asking for three or more things at a time. If I need us all to clean, he'll first procrastinate, then after a nudge, he'll work for roughly 10-30 minutes and take a "break" for an unreasonably long time, often never going back to cleaning at all. If I leave the kids in his care, he'll forget to feed them or give them crap. Once, he gave them cheeze and crackers for dinner.

There are a ton of issues I have between us, but I'm more concerned with the kid/cleaning/tech stuff right now. We are in couple's therapy and she said one of his symptoms is trouble with executive function and I don't remember what else. I want to know, are these issues things that are just part of him that he can't change and I just need to accept as is or is it more that he doesn't want to change?

Thanks for your input!

Is it super weird that I'm about to be 40 and I cannot put anything inside my vagina myself?

Let me explain. I cannot use a tampon. I think I correctly used one one time but it was really emotionally hard to insert it. I never use penatrative masturbation, I can't bare to put anything there myself. Even vaginal medication, I embarrassingly have to ask my husband to administer (which he is always more than happy to do lol). I despise having to get a vaginal exam and always have to have my husband with me to hold my hand.

Is that super weird?
