Right now they don't seem to be that threatening. They punish you when you stand in one place too long, but they can barely defend themselves.

I suggest doubling the amount of mortars. Make them a bit less accurate and bias them to shoot closer to themselves (not decrease the range, but aim closer, as if helldivers are running towards it), so they can actually protect themselves. Maybe even add some kind of spotter tower that will not call in reinforcements, but will alert all automatons including mortars.

This would also promote coordinated assaults, going all at once from slightly different directions to split artillery fire. I think this would fun.

I want to be constantly bombarded by artillery for better PTSD.

This is CLEAR PROOF our Anti Air is a lie. Why does J.O.E.L invest so many of our collective resources into making these if they can't even damage a measly SEAF pelican from 20m away.
I had to sacrifice by BioBlender™ just to watch it get melted down and turned into one of these wastes.

I spend weeks strip mining and create perfect platinum ingots just for a squad of helldivers to land directly into the mine and steal every single one.

This has been going on for over a year and one time SvotSten tried to suggest to a commissar not to arrange our weeks of labour conveniently piled up outside the mine and he was turned into a beserker.

I don’t know why we don’t keep the platinum ingots behind the massive doors or even just put them in one of the dozens of mostly empty crates we have around the mine.
It was a shock the first time now we just hide in the mine whenever we see a super destroyer overhead. Not once have we ever actually sent off a shipment without those brainwashed bastards stealing them.

I saw something disappear out of the corner of my eye and luckily I was recording,

I previously made a post critiquing the automatons accuracy and I received many comments that claimed that this was only because I was on D5 and that it was not the case on the maximum difficulty (even though accuracy isn't affected). This was on a D10 city mission as host. These bots were not suppressed (maybe a couple but for the vast majority I walked straight into them and took my hands off my keyboard).
