As the title says, i'm stuck on this screen after clicking to install essential packages.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've checked the config file is pointing to the location where the game is installed. It's installed on my NvME, which is not where my OS is installed, and I have over 200GB spare space.

The children's (2 and 4, soon to be 3 and 5 in Jan) mother has relocated an hour away. Long story short, she told me she was moving via text and that the boys were going to go to school there, there was no discussion or leeway on her behalf and her decision took all parental responsibility from me.

We are currently going through a court case as our eldest starts school in September, and a PSO was put in place to stop her from relocating the kids/allowing them to stay anywhere else when in her care at this time.

We have a final court hearing on the 6th August, but have a mediation appointment on the 5th. In our FHDRA, the judge said it would be good if we could come to an agreement on the 5th, otherwise they will have to decide and it may be something we both don't like.

Me and the mother have agreed that we want to work together, however, I feel like the whole situation is a lose lose for me.

Our current routine is 50/50, with alternating weekends and mid week drop offs and pickups to and from nursery. We have a healthy balance. However, the new routine is most likely going to look like the following:

1 - They go to the school we originally agreed on, in their home town. I have the children in the week and take them to school/nursery, but I don't have them on weekends. This will impact them seeing other extended family members they usually see on the weekends, as well as fun weekend days out.

2 - They relocate with her, she does their school/nursery runs and I have them every weekend. Meaning I miss out on a hugely important part of their education/taking them to school/picking them up.

We have agreed to talk the night before mediation, to hopefully bring something to the mediator. We are limited on time, as both of us and the mediator need to submit a statement to the courts before 4pm, so it can be read in court the next day.

My question:

Has anyone else navigated a situation like this successfully and fairly?

Does anyone have any routine suggestions that I could bring to the table?

I've been listening to a lot of the German band, Blond and have become a fan of not only Johann Bonitz playing but his bass tone also.

I know he's a Sandberg Sponsored bassist, and I actually have a Sandberg VS4 Pbass myself.

However, listening to the song 'Autogen' (I'd post a link but unsure if I'm allowed to), I don't know where to start when trying to get such a round yet punchy and pokey bass tone.

It sounds like he has a slight bit of saturation/drive on it but other than that, any EQ tips on how to get relatively close to this tone?

I'm new to this series and I've been interested in starting it up since olden era came out, however I've seen that HOMM3 remastered is on sale on steam.

I have heard that the original homm 3 with the HD mod is preferred, however, as a new player, would getting the old version benefit me?

What can I also expect from the game? What makes HoMM so good?

I have a Solar E1 scooter.

I believe it has experienced slight water damage due to the back LEDs being dimly lit whilst the scooter is turned off.

I haven't touched the scooter for a good while and decided to charge it up the other evening. It was completely dead so left it a good few hours until fully charged and it all worked without any issue.

The next day after work I noticed it was dead again and the lights were off so I grabbed the nearest charger and realised it was the wrong one as soon as the charging light didn't change. It was my Yose Power eBike battery. I noticed immediately and got the correct charger, light was red to indicate charging, so I left it.

I came back 10 mins later to find the charger light was green, which indicates fully charged or no connection, which I thought was weird so I unplugged and tried to turn the scooter on to no avail.

After opening the scooter up, and using a multimeter, 200v DC, I have the following readings from the 2 cables that come out of the battery:

\- The large yellow plug that connects the battery to the controller: 00.4v

​

\- The plug that connects the battery to the charging port: no reading.

I am confused as to why the charger was charging and after 10 mins and then stopped working.

Has the battery BMS completely shut the battery off? Is there any possible way to wake it?

As far as I'm aware, the battery is 48v 13Ah. Would there be anywhere I could get a replacement for a reasonable price? Solar are charging $200+ (I am also in the UK)

TLDR : kids mum wants to move the kids and hour away for a better upbringing. I have had no choice or say I'm this. I suspect this decision is largely due to her being in a relationship with someone else who lives an hour 45 away.

I (35m) have been separated from my wife (36F) for around 10 months now, we are still married and have yet to divorce. We have two young children 2 and 4, the eldest will start school in September.

I currently reside in the house we bought together, but it has been sold and will likely finalise in the next month or two.

​

The kids mum quickly jumped into a relationship with another woman soon after we separated, and I suspect they were already talking before the split. The issue is, this woman lives an 1hour 45 mins away, so they travel to see eachother.

​

Whilst I was at work the kids mum sent me a message saying that she needs to tell me something. The message was long and said that due to the issues with county lines round this area, and wants to relocate to the closest city to us which is an hour away to ensure the children have a safer upbringing and better schooling.

Her proposal (which she also said I have no say in) is she has the kids monday-Friday every week and I have them on the weekends. If I wish to see them during the week, I will need to travel there after I finish work at 5, to pick them up, give them dinner somewhere, and then travel back home for work the next day. I won't have a weekend to myself or any down time.

At the start of the separation, we decided on a school which has a good offstead rating and is easy to access and is in the middle of our home town. However, it appears she has been looking at schools already in the area she is relocating to. Without consulting me at all.

From the message she sent me, it appears that she has already purchased a property in this location, distancing the children from not only myself but the rest of their family, which largely appears to be because of this other woman who lives in the next city across. She wants a home halfway between.

I have had no say in this at all, relocating an hour away creates an inconvenience for picking the children up and being able to be there in case of any emergencies etc. I also want a choice in where my children go to school, as well as the opportunity to be able to take them to school/pick them up.

- Is there anything I can do to block her from relocating?

​

- I have read that I have a legal right to sign any schooling application, is this correct?

Im looking to buy the new Empress Drive pedal, however I'm wondering if anyone has experienced noise when daisy chaining with a strobostomp Mini?

My current board is as follows:

Cioks Expander 4 power supply

Strobostomp Mini > Empress bass compressor (Both daisy chaining with a splitter cable) > Empress Para EQ bass (taking up one isolated output) > HX Stomp (taking up the final two outputs of the Cioks 4)

I'm looking to daisy chain the Drive with the tuner and the Compressor as I don't have enough outputs left on the power supply.

As it's a drive pedal, would it matter if there was a slight noise?

Would the noise be present when the pedal is off/bypassed?

Would the noise gate on the drive pedal be useful for gating the noise if any?

Ideally, I don't want to have to upgrade my powersupply, and I will not be looking to expand my board anymore. So I'm hoping the daisy chaining would be ok

TLDR - Ex wife who no longer lives in our home, continues to take our shared possessions from the home without asking me, and becomes hostile when I make the request that she atleast asks me before.

I've currently been separated from my wife for 8 months now, and reside in the house we both own together, as she decided to move out.

There have been multiple occasions where I will return home from work to find that she has taken items from the home, which equally belong to us.

As the house is on the market, I want to make it look as good as I can. The other week I left the drill out on the side with a brush attachment on it (to clean the carpets/rugs). I come home to find it's gone, this is after asking her multiple times to ask me before taking things. The past weekend, the pressure washer has vanished, when I wanted to wash the gutters due to having multiple viewings. There are many items she has taken, including weighing scales I need to use to get my prescription medication ( I need to document my weight).

She also warned me that she was coming to take the fridge and washing machine at the end of April (hasn't happened yet), even though these are essential items to not only me, but our two young boys. She currently resides at her dad's, who has a washing machine and fridge, and her new partners who also has a washing machine and fridge.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated to find things are missing when I go to use them...

She even threw away a bag of vape liquid, which I bought, worth about £15-£20, and shrugged it off without an apology.

I understand that she owns this house also (although now she says she can't pay her half of the mortgage, putting me in a tough financial situation) so I'm unable to change the locks, but I'm becoming increasingly more frustrated with her lack of respect for me and our shared belongings.

I have asked her on multiple occasions that i want her to ask me if I either need to use something before taking it, or to just let me know before she takes it, however, each time I say this she is hostile and will ignore me, to come back with her own question/request for me to do something. I feel like she's using this as some way to control the situation or get one up on me and quite frankly I've had enough. I don't understand why she is pushing back at me, when I'm just requesting something so simple. I want things to be easy but apparently it won't be!

I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to stop her from removing stuff from this house without my permission. I am the resident now and she is currently waltzing around, taking whatever she wants, whenever she wants and I feel that now I need to take control.

So long story short, I'm looking to basically have my expression pedal (Sonicake with A/B pedals) change snapshots, but keep my effects I've already assigned on pedals 1-3.

My issue is switching between finger style and a pick. When playing with fingers, the bass is more prominent and I'd like to keep it more consistent throughout.

I'm in a 90s rock/cover band that covers a wide range of bands from Nirvana/Alice in chains, to RHCP, Oasis and Rage against the machine, which means I switch a lot between both styles.

Ideally, I'm looking for Pick style on Snapshot 1 (pedal A) and fingers on Snapshot 2 (Pedal B). However, I'd also like to keep my effects (Fuzz, OD and Chorus) on the other foot switches.

I'm looking to be able to reduce the lows slightly and possibly boost highs when switching to finger style. I'd like to still see my preset, without needing to switch to the snapshot screen, but still be able to switch between snapshots.

There's probably a simple way to do this but I cannot seem to work it out!
