Two days ago, I revived the subreddit r/wenclay_, of which I am now a moderator. When I did so, my fellow user, u/Ezra_star_, asked me this question:

>Any chance there might be a poly Wednesday subreddit?

I do not know of any Wednesday poly subreddits (not even abandoned ones), so here we are! I myself have become interested in multiple Wednesday ships (Wenclair, Wenclay, and even minor ships like Bianca/Ajax), so I created this sub as a playground for all of them.

Hi there! Welcome one and all!

I'm calargo (she/her). I'd like to share a bit about myself, and I invite you all to do the same! What do you like about the ship? What's your fandom journey been like?

As for me, I've been a big fan of Wenclair for about the past year or so. Actually, I stumbled on Wenclair content before I watched a single episode of Wednesday. I noticed Yoko and Divina in the background of some clips of the show, or I'd see them featured in fics and thought they seemed interesting and had a lot of potential for cool stories.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that not only were Wenclair not a thing in the show, but Yoko and Divina were barely in the show at all! But I guess the beauty of fan works is we can create and share this content that we're hungry for featuring these characters.

I've only recently really started getting into this ship, but I've been super curious about it. When u/H-In-S-Productions over on the wenclair sub posted that this subreddit had been left neglected for years, it felt like the perfect time to step in and try and bring some life on this strange little corner of the fandom.

I'm really curious if there's other people out there like me, who got into the Wednesday fandom through fan works and have this fascination with characters or certain parts of the setting that are more prevalent in fan stuff than the show itself.

Onto some things about rules/the vibe of the subreddit

The rules are about the same as the other popular Wednesday ship subreddits. Basically just be nice, try and post about Yoko x Divina or a combination of one or both of them. Just don't go bashing other ships.

Earlier today, I found some subreddits for some of the other Wednesday ships. I used r/redditrequest to become moderator of the long-abandoned r/wenclay_, so I hope to revive that as that's ship's counterpart to this subreddit.

However, soon afterwards, I discovered r/yokovina, a subreddit whose last post was in March 2023. I would've used an r/redditrequest to gain that subreddit as well, but I have to wait two weeks to be able to use it again.

Would someone do me a favor and adopt r/yokovina via r/redditrequest? I'd appreciate it, since Yoko and Divina will appear in some of my upcoming works.

This subreddit appears to be derelict, as no posts have been made on it ever since its very first post in April 2023 (and its original moderator is now defunct).

I propose taking charge of this sub.

I'd like as many ideas about her as possible, with the topics I'm most curious about being:

• her origins, including her arrival at Nevermore; and
• where does she go during break? After all, her mother didn't seem to know that Bianca was at Nevermore until Parents' Weekend (Bianca even asks her "How did you find me?", implying that her enrollment at Nevermore as "Bianca" was a secret she didn't tell her mother about), so she must go somewhere else over summers.

I'd appreciate the help, if this is the right place.
