Listening to his music the album 808’s & Heartbreaks seems to show signs of him starting to become paranoid publicly. By the 2013 album “Yeezus” he’s declaring himself a god. But even “Black Skinhead” from 2010’s MBDTF shows signs he’s become hostile towards society. Idk man. I was a big fan of his first three albums and 808’s is his Magnum Opus imo. For all its simplicity it is a complex album with deep themes and strong melodic beats that are minimalistic yet effective. What do you all think? Idk where but somewhere it all went wrong for the guy and things seemed to spiral for a while. Last o heard he was trying to walk back a lot of the most egregious stuff he’d said and done but man it’s wild. He could have been remembered as one of the greatest rappers to love but his legacy will forever be tainted by his anti Semitic and anti Black rhetoric the naxi song and all that stuff. What a shame mental illness took him so far off course.

I’ve been an Oliver tree fan for about 5 years now. I had all his music on Apple Music added to my library. Today I went to go listen to a tree song and it’s gone. Also Mr. Tree has had its spelling changed. Prior to Oliver’s death it was spelled MrTrEe which made me wonder if MTE held hidden meaning. Now all the splitting branches songs are gone and MrTrEe is now Mr Tree. Any idea why? I suspect it has to do with legacy and ownership rights but it sucks to have some of his music disappear.

When did they take down the online version. You use to be able to roll a quest in the website. There was a boulder on the page and then you clicked it and it loaded the section then rolled again to get your quest and any modifiers you may have rolled. Now it’s only available as a book or pdf.

I really want Morton’s list to catch on. It’s clever and fun but people wont pay what they’re asking for it if they’ve never played it. They do have a 13% version to try it out but I really think it should just be an app that can be synced between players and then every rolls to see who’s quest master.

As a child in the 70’s/80’s and a kiss fan during the satanic panic era of backwards messages. Well I decided to look for backwards messages in Destroyer and I did find one but I don’t believe it was intentional just a happenstance of syllables sung in reverse.

The backwards part comes from the song do you love me. If you play the course backwards you hear what sounds like Emily and as a child I was convinced the song was about a woman named Emily.

I know in my heart that’s never happening by my brain don’t want to accept it’s not just another one of Oliver’s cringe edge lord gags. My brain want to believe we get new Oliver tree records and merch but the truth is the ride is over.

Our Alien boy is gone. Turbo has burned out, we’ve cried out last cowboy tears. I’m so saddened by his passing. He was such a talented fool. I say fool because he was our court jester doing dumb stuff to make us laugh like painting himself sonic blue head to toe, building the worlds biggest scooter, all the goofy YouTube and TikTok interviews he did. He was great on the H3 podcast. He was always doing something clever or silly or amusing. He was one of a kind and the kind of one you’ll sorely miss.

Back in the day if you got a computer you had a printer to go with it. Then printer ink prices did some weird stuff. And now I rarely see people having printers even when they have multiple computers. What happened and when? Last time I bought a printer you had to subscribe to a service to be able to print anything.

So if you know a printer that’s like old school printers that just takes regular printer ink can be refilled and doesn’t need a subscription or internet access to print let me know. I want a good printer. I just don’t want to play these stupid hp games.

What’s the best low cost printer available. It don’t have to be cheap cheap but I’m not looking to spend laser jet money either.

I have a Spanish and an English keyboard so my auto correct will auto correct Spanish and English. Im primarily an English speaker as that’s my native language but I’ve learned a bit of español living in Californias farmlands. So sometimes when I’m typing it will give me a Spanish word in the suggestions or it will auto correct to a Spanish word usually the same word but in Spanish as it has the accents over the letters.

This name is not out of thin air. Dom calls himself “King of the luchadores” Rey de los luchadores. So fine we shall call him a true luchadores name.

El hijo de Rey Mysterio Jr.

It means son of Rey Mysterio jr. Since he hates his dad and always shit talks him (kayfabe) then as fans we should remind him of who his father is by calling him El hijo de Mysterio. You could also use el hijo del Rey but that translates as “the kings son” which would also remind him his father is better. He’s just a prince while pops is still king

I’m mostly joking but I am going to bet referring to him as el hijo mysterio.

In light of the milli vanilli news lately I thought I’d clear some stuff up. Not just about them but about the music scene they were part of.

Most people don’t realize Milli Vanilli weren’t the first act of Frank Farion to use the formula MV used. They just got called out for it. Every recording that was part of Farions domain has to be called into question as to who actually made the music and sang the songs. He was a musician in his own right but began producing acts and at some point decided that the look of the band and the talent of the band didn’t have to be the same people. The music after all was the thing people were after and n the end I don’t think the fall of MV would have been nearly what it was had they just said “well you caught us” and not denied it for so long until it was undeniably proven. For their part Rob and fab didn’t do anything wrong until they denied the allegations. The sad part is they wanted to sing on the record and tried to get Farion to let them re-record the vocals but he refused believing his singers were better. That one decision changed everything.

I don’t think what Milli vanilli did deserved the public backlash it received. I think it was the result of two things converging. One the record industry was furious over being so exposed as there was a lot of controversy surrounding lip syncing at the time and it forced the music consuming audience to recon with the fact they’ve chosen style over substance. They’ve allowed image to outweighs the music. They were confronted with the illusion laid bare and didn’t want to accept blame for allowing it to happen.

Im raising my grandson and drive him to school. He is still in early elementary. He has four more days of school then I can sleep in in the mornings. At least that’s the story I’m telling myself. I know he’ll be up early af still and I’ll have to be up with him but I can still get a few more Z’s hopefully.

What are your opinions of entrance and walk down times?

I know that a wrestlers entrance is an important part of their presentation but to me I feel like these enterneces and walk downs are getting super long. 2-3 minute per performer and 3-5 for tag teams.

I don’t mind a good entrance but I don’t like long entrances at the expensive of wrestling matches. There has to be a balance.

Another problem is the music. A lot of the music sounds the same or similar. There’s not a lot of deviation. Some of that’s due to the fact the same few stars are featured almost weekly or alternate between weeks.

Anyhow what are your thoughts on the above?

I am disabled and have chorionic pain and for a long time took really strong opioids. About 6 years ago I quit taking them. I still take a partial opioid but at a fairly low dose. My favorite medicine was oxycodone. I’d get 30 mg pills and crush them and snort them. It was prescribed but I did abuse them in snorting them instead of swallowing but it was because it worked better and longer for me that way. Anyhow when you first snort it you get a hell of a rush and it’s really addictive. Often people of because they keep taking more to get the rush again. Anyhow I was looking through a drawer and saw a bottle of my grandsons meds but they’re green not even round but green and my brain did a jig l had to look again because of it. I haven’t done any in over 6 years and just a glimpse of something my brain misread as oxys and it was ready. Stay away from opioids if you can. Opium, heroin, morphine, codeine, hydro/oxy-codone/morphone it’s all bad if abused.
