What type is this?

Help Identify

I originally got this back in February. It was a tiny little plant in a water vase. However, it still had soil roots. It slowly declined and beginning of June had only 3 leaves. So I added leca and Nutrients. It is finally starting to grow.
But, can’t figure out which type of Algeonema this is.
2nd pic shows leaves better.

Leaves grow from green around edges and darker pink in middle to a super super light pink in middle.

Can I save this wrinkly Easter Cactus?

Not sure what is going wrong with this cactus as I have 2 others that are doing fine. Only difference being that I left this one in soil mix until I transferred recently. But, seems to be getting even worse. How much light do these like? Maybe reservoir is too low (using diy pon with wicking and super thrive foliage pro) Help

Black Magic Begonia help….

I recently got a small Black Magic Begonia and would love to transfer to semi hydro. Would pon or Leca be better? It is such a pretty plant I want to keep it alive. Thanks

How long to wait to repot and go semi hydro?

I just got this box of plants today and would like to transfer them all to semi hydro. Last time I had similar and waited too long many had root rot and didn’t make it.

Also, are there any specific plants that should go into leca over pon? I am all out of leca right now.

Here is basic list
Spider Plants
Begonia Black Magic
Syngoniums
Fittonia
Croton
Peperomias
Episcia
Philodendron Birkin
Diffenbachia

Can all these thrive in pon under grow light? I do have clear cover to increase humidity for fitonia. And, can I transfer tomorrow and leave in quarantine for couple weeks after transplant?

The growth after 25 days shocks me?

So, months ago I found. Couple pieces of tradescantia on floor of Home Depot. I asked cashier if I could have them. I planted on soil and they never did great, all bottom leaves would get crispy, etc. but it did survive. So I took some cuttings. After 2 weeks I transplanted cuttings into leca. And wow…plant is really thriving.

First photo shows beautiful color and sine, second shows size, and lat photo is cuttings on May 28th ..a few days before I put them in leca.

Honestly, I thought this would be a failure. Now to get them to hang over the sides of pot.

Any way to save this?

I transferred a philodendron brasil from soil to diy pon. And, it seems to just get worse and worse. This is first out of about 40 I have had such an issue with. Should I remove and put in water. I don’t think it is my substrate as I repotted a pothos couple days before and seems to be doing okay. 2nd pic.

Transferred philodendron brasil looks sad

I transferred a philodendron brasil into semi hydro a couple days ago. I put half in pon and half in leca. They both look awful. First plant that has completely drooped after I switched to semi hydro. So far I have transferred a couple Monsteras, Syngoniums, Spider Plants, a4 Algeonemas, 2 Hoyas, and a few others and none did this. Even my pothos that I transferred a few days earlier isn’t droopy. Should I take these out and move to water?

Roots popping out after couple weeks. Now what?

I can’t believe this crazy root growth. I originally transferred my Thai Con ( bear in mind got my first plant months ago and decided semi hydro about a month ago, so still learning). After only 2 weeks I decided to upsize my pot as roots were growing out. So 12 days ago I transferred to this pot. Should I cut these or get larger pot? This is less than month in leca and less than 2 weeks in this pot. Not sure what to do..

I suck at houseplants, but I like them so much. For once, all the ones I switched are actually thriving. I couldn’t have done it without all your help. Thank you!

No pitchers.

I got this plant about 4 months ago. When I first got it , the original pitchers died….i was told this was normal. It has grown taller and wider ( I did separate into two plants, which I really regret).

I have them growing in a mixture of Besgrow New Zealand sphagnum moss mixed with perlite. I water with distilled water and have them on stand fitted with Barinna grow lights. The lighter colored one is closer to the grow lights than the taller one is (had to put that one on a bottom shelf because of height).
In addition I also have a Sansa clip grow lights shiny on them a few hours a day for extra light. Humidity is usually around 55.

I believe this is a Ventrata but not sure.

Couple questions. Can I put these back together in a larger pot, maybe on a pebble tray…as misting constantly doesn’t seem to help. Or should I do some type of diy greenhouse? What can I do to encourage pitchers?

Leca or Pon

Need suggestions as to what substrate would be best to use for switching these to semi hydro.

Philodendron Prince of Orange
Philodendron Brasil
Neon Pothos

I have heard pothos don’t transfer well, so most concerned about that one

Also, love to see your pictures

Which Pots, 1, 2, or 3?

Which pots should I transfer a bunch of random 2inch houseplants I purchased.. I will be transferring to semi hydro.. I absolutely love the look of the clear ones, but have heard bad things (however, I doubt they will be in 3 inch pots very long)..

Now versus a month ago

Transferred my first Hoya from soil to pon about a month ago. New to semi hydro, houseplants, etc. I did take a couple cuttings just in case. First pic is now second pic is when I first transferred. Leaves have turned really dark. Is this Carnosa ok or not surviving?

Identification help.

So, I bought a couple clearance plants today. I was hoping to buy a pothos and think I ended up with 3 philodendrons. Neon pothos or lemon lime philodendron? I think others are prince of orange and brasil. Second pic might make it easier to tell.

Is this Pumice good?

After starting to wash some pumice I just bought, I notice black rocks in it.. The pic makes it look like there are more than there actually are as I added some to show them..

I bought 11 pounds of this for diy pon mix.. Is it okay to use or should I get another? Last one I bought was all white..

Cheaper to buy Lechuza ?

I am trying to the maths to figure out if diy pon or Lechuza is cheaper. The 12L bag of BasicPon is about the same price as buying 12 pound of mix (containing lava rock, zeolite, etc) and 10 quarts of pumice(If I am right that alone is over 2 gallons of material which is only .7 gallons short of Lechuza) . I don't have the weight of the lechuza or the weight of the pumice.

But, Lechuza's website says bag is 22 pounds. I cannot image the pumice weighing 10 Pounds.. But, by volume I have no idea.. Anyone that has used the brand and done diy using horticular mix, let me know your opinion.. I would love to buy both to compare, but cant afford both.. I don't mind the washing part. I actualy quite enjoy mixing the components. I do realize buy ecotraction and lava grip would be cheaper, but just cannot find either at reasonable price..

Also, how good is the Lechuza Basic Pon? I have used the lava mix and added pumice and loved it..

Opinions, math experts, anyone... What should I do? Both come out to just under 50 dollars.

Best price for diy pon ingredients?

Looking for best price for horticulture lava mix and pumice. Would like maybe 15 pounds of lava, zeolite, etc mix and 10 quarts of pumice. Thanks

No matter how I figure it out seems cheaper this way the buying any of the brands of Pon. But, using ecotraction, etc is too hard to find and Not sure I want 40 pounds of just zeolite. lol.
