Ask ko lang po, realistic ba ang ₱25,000 budget for:
🍜 Food for 5 days

🚇 Transportation

🏰 Hong Kong Disneyland ticket

Other small expenses/miscellaneous

Excluded na po dito yung plane ticket and hotel/accommodation.

For those who have been to Hong Kong recently, kasya kaya ang ₱25k? Or should I prepare a higher budget para safe? Thank you! 🙏

Getting bullied at work just because I raised a concern

Anyone here who experienced being bullied or treated differently at work after raising a legitimate concern?
I’m working in a BPO, and recently I raised a concern about something at work that I genuinely thought needed clarification. Hindi naman ako nakikipag-away or trying to challenge management. I simply asked questions because I wanted to make sure na tama yung process and I was doing my job properly.
Pero after that, parang nagbago yung treatment sa akin.

I started feeling like I was being singled out, monitored more closely, and somehow labeled as “difficult” just because I speak up when something doesn’t make sense. Parang ang expectation is dapat tahimik ka na lang, sunod-sunuran, and never question anything.
What bothers me the most is that instead of addressing the actual concern, parang ako pa yung naging problema.

Nakakapagod kasi you start thinking twice before raising anything. “Should I just keep quiet next time para hindi ako mapag-initan?” But at the same time, if something is genuinely wrong, shouldn’t employees be allowed to ask questions without fear of retaliation?

I’m not asking for special treatment. I just want a workplace where raising a concern doesn’t automatically make you a target.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you handle it without making the situation worse?

So may scenario ako sa work na medyo na-bother talaga ako.

May na-email na errors daw sa cases ko, so syempre I checked the cases myself to verify. Upon checking, wala naman talaga akong nakitang error sa cases. I raised a question about it kasi I wanted to understand kung saan exactly nanggaling yung alleged error and bakit kailangan pa rin ng coaching log.

Ang response sa akin was super negative. Instead na ma-explain nang maayos kung ano yung issue, parang ang dating is “mag-coaching log ka na lang” and when I questioned it, parang pinapalabas na kapag hindi ako nag-agree or hindi ako magpa-coaching log, possible na violation/PCF agad.

I’m not refusing coaching naman. If may actual error ako, I’m more than willing to acknowledge it, learn from it, and document the coaching. Ang concern ko lang is, kung upon verification naman ay walang error, bakit kailangan pa rin ng coaching log?
Is this normal sa BPO? Or red flag na ba kapag questioning a QA finding is treated as being difficult or insubordinate?

Curious lang ako if other BPO peeps experienced the same thing. 😅

I’m currently trying to figure out a realistic budget for solo living, including:

Rent

Electricity & water

Internet

Groceries/food

Transportation

Household/personal essentials

Entertainment/leisure

Savings/emergency fund

Would love to know your average monthly expenses and your income range (if you’re comfortable sharing), especially if you’re living in Metro Manila.

I’m curious what a realistic monthly budget looks like for someone living independently. Also, what expenses surprised you the most after moving out? 😅

Any tips for someone trying to budget properly while still enjoying life would be appreciated!

I'll be moving into my own condo soon.
It's funny because dati iniisip ko lang kung paano makaka-survive every month. Ngayon, I'm earning almost ₱80k/monthand finally have the chance to live closer to work and have my own space.

I'm still scared, because this is a huge change. New place, new routine, more responsibilities.

Hopefully this becomes one of those decisions I'll look back on and say, "Buti ginawa ko."
