ESR Geo Magsafe Wallet - 120 Days Later Review

Back in April I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to review one of ESR's products free of charge. I decided to go with the ESR Geo Magsafe Wallet both because A: I needed a new wallet haha, and B: unlike cases or screen protectors that are categorizes to their specific devices, a Masgsafe wallet is essentially a universal asset, only requiring a device that has Magsafe, which almost every modern iPhone has at this point, or the case having Magsafe, which almost every case manufacturer includes.

Now I've been a huge fan of Magsafe wallets ever since Magsafe came out, but there was always one overlying issue with them: durability. Every single wallet I've had never makes it past the six month mark, whether it be due to the leather peeling off or the glue and thread holding the card slots breaking off, they always end up breaking. Now normally this isn't a huge deal because I simp;y submit a warranty claim and I get a new one about a week later but eventually the process gets draining.

This is where I came up with the process of this review. Instead of doing a typical review after a week or two of using it I wanted to wait a looooooong time before doing the review, and eventually decided on 120 days, which is today!

So, how is it? It's pretty good!

Out of the box the wallet feels really premium with the Vegan Leather wrapping, and the connection to Find My is seamless, taking less than five minutes to get it all set up. The magnets are very strong, taking quite a bit of force to pop off. The part that surprised me the most was the finger loop, I thought I wouldn't really use the part this much but I use it all the time. It carries five cards which is fine, wish I could carry 1-2 more cards but it's not a huge deal.

Now 120 days later the wallet has a few signs of wear, which is normal these things can't stay pristine forever, but it's basically just a tiny bit of peeling in the corners and darkening of the finger loop. I do have an issue with the ID window cracking open but I'm pretty sure that's due to me forcing a third card into the slot when it only supports two. Overall the wallet has held up great!

As a whole, I give this wallet a 9/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium Magsafe wallet that has great features like the Find My compatibility, premium build quality, and even a finger loop lol. My only wish is that there was one more pocket to hold a few more cards but I get that there isn't much room haha.

Aliexpress Back to School Sale is a great time to get an Odin 3 (Max 16-512 for ~$350) if you're looking to buy one!

Usually I'd advise people to buy the Odin 3 off the AYN website but today Aliexpress just started their back to school sale which dropped the price down to the price before the last price increase and there's a bunch of new coupons and promos going on that drop the handheld to a pretty good price.

Now before getting on Aliexpress sign up for Rakuten. Rakuten is a cashback services that gives you money whenever you checkout with their browser add-on, and today only they're giving out a massive 26% cashback.

After setting Rakuten up make an account on Aliexpress if you don't have one already as you need it to claim all the promos and use THIS LINK TO THE OFFICIAL AYN ODIN 3 LISTING all the other listing are resellers selling for crazy prices.

Now choose your model and at checkout make sure to use the promo code AYN95 to get $95 off, and pay with Paypal as you'll get an additional $35 off. If you ordered the Max it should come out to ~$470, and after the Rakuten cashback (should be ~$120) you'd have gotten it for ~$350!

One last thing to note you need to use Rakuten/Aliexpress on a web browser in order to get all the discounts, using the Rakuten app for some reason doesn’t let you use the $35 off Paypal discount.

[Request] [Steam] Deltarune

Hey all, I hope you're all doing well.

Recently, a good friend of mine upgraded his rig and kindly gave me his old PC. It’s been pretty fun setting everything up, and I finally having a decent setup to start getting into some games I've wanted to get into but couldn't due to not having the hardware to do so.

Now that I’m ready to go, a game that's been on my mind for a while now is Deltarune. I remember playing Chapters 1 and 2 when they came out in 2021, and I was totally hooked. The soundtrack, the characters, and the humor story made me really like this game. I’ve been trying hard to avoid spoilers for Chapters 3, 4, and 5 since their release, and I would love to finally experience them myself.

Unfortunately, my budget is pretty tight right now due to the combination of being a brokeass college student is tough and unexpectedly having to spend $250 earlier this month for my dog’s vet bills. I straight up just don't have the money right now to buy the game.

If by ay chance anyone is in a generous mood to send the game as a Steam gift, I would be beyond for the act of kindness. Even if you’re just stopping by to read this, thank you for your time!

Here is my Steam profile link:

Thanks again, and I hope you all have an amazing rest of your week.

Facebook Marketplace: Good deal or scam?

Trying to get a gaming pc and found this listing nearby, messaged the seller and they told me they could drop it down to $2400 and he wants to meetup inside a bank. Are the components that I’m getting for the price too good to be true or am I just getting a good deal?

Quality of Best Buy open box?

Been itching to upgrade to a 55” QM7K coming from a 43” Samsung TU7000 and saw that a Best Buy is offering an excellent condition open box for $370. My question is has anyone dealt with buying open box? Should I cop now or wait for the price of a new QM7K to drop potentially when prime day starts?

NIB C4 for $550 on marketplace, too good to be true?

Not really in the know of OLED tvs and I’m trying to get one for bedroom and saw the listing on marketplace, asked the seller if price was firm and they told me they’d go down to $550. Anyone know how easy it is to fake something like this/is this listing too good to be true?

Aliexpress Summer Sale is an excellent time to get a Thor (Max 16-1T for ~$350) if you’re on the fence!

(reposting as people seemed to not like the $50 off referral link 😅)

Usually I tell people to get a Thor off the AYN website but today Aliexpress just started their summer sale which dropped the Thor Max 1TB down it’s price to the one it had before April and there’s a bunch of coupons/promotions going on that lets you get a very good deal on the system if you’ve been thinking about it.

Before getting on Aliexpress I’d advise you sign up for Rakuten. Rakuten is a cashback service that gives you money back by checking out with their browser add on, and today they’re giving 20% cashback on all Aliexpress purchases when using their extension at checkout.

Now once you’re on Aliexpress make an account if you don’t have one already and claim all the coupons that are up right now, one of these should be $60 off $399 which is the one I used. THIS IS THE OFFICIAL AYN THOR LISTING. All other listings are resellers selling it for outrageous prices.

Now choose your model and at checkout make sure to set your payment method as Paypal as you’ll get an additional $35 off, and if you bought a similar Thor to mine then it should come out to around $440, and with the cashback (should be around $85), you’d have gotten an AYN Thor Max 1TB for just a little over $350!

One last thing to note you need to use Rakuten/Aliexpress on a web browser in order to get all the discounts, using the Rakuten app for some reason doesn’t let you use the $35 off Paypal discount.
