Ear muffled after sinus rinse
26F, currently taking vibryd and amoxicillin for sinus infection.
I did a sinus rinse last week due to a severe sinus infection. As I was doing it I felt the saline shoot into my ear. It was a little muffled but not by much. The next morning I woke up and my ear was in severe pain and then it popped and I felt relief. It has been muffled since however. Today I got worried I might have ruptured my eardrum somehow and looked with my ear camera when I got home from work. It looks bulging, red, and I can see bubbles behind it. My question is do I need to go to urgent care in the morning for this? Will the antibiotic help it or will the fluid go away on its on? My insurance isn’t the greatest and I want to make sure I need to go before I spend $100.
