I’m trying to learn German and wanna find spaces online to talk to people for immersion, but I basically only see English spaces online ~>~

I’m 17f, so ideally I’d want someone within my age range.
I haven’t done serious language exchange before. I’d really like to but I’m a bit out of my league here.. mainly I’m looking for someone I can practice conversation with, I sort of want someone around my level (low A2) because I think it would be fun to learn alongside each other but that part is not a requirement or anything.

I’ve been debating getting the game for a while. But don’t usually voice chat in games so I’ve been anxious about it. Which logically I know is a bit stupid, but not sure.

What’s the average age for players? Is 17 gonna sound oddly old or oddly young to be there?

For fellow women here, do yall face any harassment due to that at all?

Is it common for players with low skill to be mocked for it? Are there beginner areas? Many of the games I play have pretty toxic communities at times. Looking from the outside in helldivers seems way more chill but- I do not handle verbal conflict well at all due to my anxiety disorder.

Does it take a while to get used to skill wise?

Also a bit unrelated, are there times it usually goes on sale for my broke self?

Oh also my computer isn’t very great. I don’t have a gaming PC or anything, am I cooked lag wise?

Hey! So I got a solo male a few months ago. He seems to mostly trust me by now. But, I don’t really know how to bond with him past that. I mean, like when I’ve had cats or any other animal it’s been
1- basic trust
2- further bonding through like petting, cuddles, blah blah blah.

How do I show affection to a mouse? Mine doesn’t particularly like staying still for any period of time that he isn’t asleep or actively shoving food down his throat. (I mean this affectionately) So cuddles is not an option. He seems to trust me enough that I can pet him a little bit but it’s more he’s tolerating it than enjoying it. How do I show my mouse I love him ): i know they need socialization and with a solo male that has to be from the owner but.. unsure how to actually do that.
I’ve started to let him climb on my lap outside the cage. He seems to trust me with it and gets hyper by climbing all over the place but seems more interested in the new surroundings than interaction.
There’s treats? But like. I can’t do that too much because I don’t wanna make him sick.

I mean if like you could go back in time and use the time you had during high school summers and such, are there any skills you wish you learned that would have helped later on to either get into the field or just be more effective? Like a language or something? Im a rising senior in high school and am looking for things to do that feel productive/could be used as part of my senior project. Or just something interesting I could learn so I actually feel like I’m doing something rather than sitting around 😭 give me a side quest

Hii it’s my first time doing artfight and I was doing a lot of attacks early on and then got really tired after spending 3 hours trying to sketch an attack that I still haven’t finished and now I’m burned out and just want to draw SOMETHING without feeling like I want it to be perfect ~-~

Hi! I’m a highschool student from central PA and want to take some AP exams not offered by my school but don’t know where to go. I know one school that offers some but not the exact ones I need. I want to take Calc BC+psychology and just self study for it. Does anyone know a school that has done it for their student/child or if you are a teenager for yourself?

Hi! I’m trying to learn how to cook but I somehow manage to mess up the most simple recipes manageable.

Recipe for reference:
1 large egg 
1.5 cups (386g) whole milk 
2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour 
¼ cup (62g) granulated sugar 
1 tsp (4g) fine sea salt 
1 Tbsp (12g) baking powder 
¼ tsp (1g) baking soda 
2 Tbsp (21g) melted unsalted butter

I try to make it on my stove. I think I follow the steps correctly and everything..
they turn golden brown.
Awesome! Yay!
Then I can see the batter on the sides and in the middle.
Not awesome.
I leave them a bit more, try to move them around, or sometimes when desperate push the sides down with my spatula, which makes them look horrible and lose the fluffiness in that spot but at least edible now. They often end up just finished cooking in the middle when lightly burned on the outside.

I was wondering if anyone has some song or band recommendations in Polish for language learning purposes. Preferably clean as I want to learn alongside my younger siblings. We usually like fast paced songs or folk-ish (my siblings recently got obsessed with sea shanties, so if anyone knows of that specifically that’d be awesome lol), but anything is welcome :D what are y’all’s favorite bands?

Yall seem to have PTSD. Why was it so bad? Why does everyone hate it lol? Part of me wants to watch it just for context but it’s 4 hours and y’all seem traumatized so I thought asking for yalls summary would be funnier.

Hi! I just got my first mouse a few months ago (I think I tag this as question/help? I’ve posted before but this is still my first so first time owner.. I dunno- anyway. )

I’ve been getting him used to me by bribing him with various treats but want to find something I can do often without risking his health. I was doing oats in very small amounts but realized I may be doing it too much because I knew it could only be a few but I didn’t realize it may be an issue if it’s daily even if it’s in very small amounts. I really don’t want to hurt the babies health >: is there anything tasty for mice that is healthier for them? Anything I can do daily as like a bonding thing? I could just offer him some of his daily feed in my hand (ofc leaving some in other areas so he doesn’t *have to*) and he’d probably still come but I’d prefer to have something separate. I found out he really likes Cheerios but you can only give him like 1 of those a week and so I can’t exactly help his craving on that.

TLDR: what treats can I give to my mouse and how often to bond with him but keep his health a priority.
