Any lock player who is enjoying classic out there, what do you think will be better racial in pvp as a lock, being able to remove stuns or removing slowing effect?
I am torn between human and gnome, but will def play as alliance.
I am a white guy working here, I went to a tourist spot by taxi yesterday.
We were having a nice conversation with the driver for about 20+ minutes, then he asked me whether I usually tip or not. I said no, and I am glad that China doesn't have tipping culture. He then added that people often give tips here, I said maybe at higher end restaurants, but I am not sure, I never go there.
I then said that bosses here would love it if China had a tipping culture, so they can cut their employees' salary for a reason that 'well, employees get nice tips anyways, so it's ok if we pay them less' and be able to pocket even more money for themselves, like it is in Murica.
After that the driver said nothing for the rest of the ride, he seemingly started pouting.
I mean, I am sorry that you make shit money, but you should complain with your bosses at Didi about it, not try to get more money out of your customers.
In my 3 years here noone has ever asked me whether I tip or not, so I feel he did it to try think that I lose face if I say no. Well I am sorry, but I don't give a shit about losing face, I am just honest about everything.
Later on I was thinking that I should have also told him that a person who is doing a service should never ask his customers whether they tip or not, cause it feels the same as if he just says: 'I hope you will give me tip.'
So yeah, he pissed me off a little when I said no to his question and then him pouting about it.

Enemy lords are piling up near your siege, but it's np cause I'll just click 'send troops' and even if I lose hundreds of troops I'll still win the battle cause time stopped for enemy lords out in the campaign map and they can't jump onto me to buttfuck my army like I/they can do with other army sieges.
And honestly, no matter what full conversion mod I play, no matter what underdog faction/kingdom I play (bannerlord difficulty ofc), I can never lose a campaign. All I need to do is play it safe, break into towns/castles for freewin of the battles, wear the enemy kingdom down this way, then go into the offensive when they stop sending armies.
Ok, I know we would be a lot more annoyed if AI had these 2 options that I mentioned above, but I feel there could be perhaps a different difficulty level for the people (like me) that would like to have time not to stop when we besiege and computer being able to break into a castle too.
I almost got fucked while changing jobs recently.
So I finished working at my old school and had my work permit cancelled, np with that.
My residence permit in my passport still had like 2 months left, so I asked my new school about whether I need to change that to a T visa or not.
They said, if my old school doesn't require me to change it then no need. I asked my old school, they also said no need, I can just keep using the old residence permit till I get the new one from my new employer. All great I thought, I moved into my new city a week ago.
Yesterday a lady took me to the bureau to do my residence permit, and a guy there starts saying that there is a problem, I should have changed my old residence permit to a T visa within 10 days after cancelling my work permit.
I was like 'lady ffs, you told me no need.' She then started blaming my old school for telling me no need too.
Bureau guy was on the phone for an hour then said 'ok this time it's fine, next time they won't be so lenient.'
They could have easily sent me back to my old city to get that T visa there, or even worse, kicked me out of the country for staying on a residence permit without a valid work permit.
So no matter what the employer says, when you are changing jobs, u must cancel the residence permit within 10 days of cancelling the work permit, and get a 30-day T visa.

Hi all, I am new to the game, got my healer geared up pretty well.
How does this faction warfare thing work?
I enlisted, flagged myself. Then the guy next can take me to some zones for money, though so far I found 0 pvp in there.
No worries, I started just travel across the maps myself. Got to my 2nd red zone far away from my main city, each map I enter says: 0 enemy players.
What am I doing wrong? I just wanna join some big ass zerg fights and gain some nice lootz.
Watching some videos everything seems ok with the game except I can't see the units properly cause there are so many small tiles and all units are small.
Can't zoom in or somehow make the units bigger in the battles in any way?
I love healing in pvp, but I am a bit fatigued from Wow.
Are healers important in Eso pvp?

I am gonna be a first time uni teacher starting from September. To be frank, the reason I am doing it is to work less and have more me time (unis don't require office hours).
Maybe it's not important, but I keep thinking about what I'll do if students want to add my Wechat later on. The thing is, I am afraid they'll spam me too much and use me as an English practice outside class time.
Sometimes people I barely know would add me and then ask me questions and message me a lot in a form that it's clear it's just for them to practice their English. With them I can just not reply, and they eventually leave me alone.
There was once a girl that kept messaging me and when I didn't reply she got angry and asked me why I didn't reply lol. Just deleted her and was done with it.
Students, however will be different, cause I'll see them every day, and I don't want any bs tension between us over stupid Wechat messages.
I'd be happy to read about how uni teachers handle the Wechat request thing, I am really not sure what's the best way to go about it.
Do I just tell them 'sorry I feel it's not professional for me to add my students' Wechat'... but then they may say 'but other uni teachers are ok with adding my Wechat', what do I say to that then?

Hi all, I have a question for those who have experience playing with that mod.
I use Diplomacy too, and for some reason something is draining my influence every day in the game.
It is not a policy, I checked.
Is it because I have too many towns and the game is punishing this way? Or is it something else?
I've signed a contract with my current school for the next year. Later on, I had changed my mind and decided to look for something new.
I've found a new position now.
The thing is, I am going back to my home country in early July, and I can't change the date since there will be an important event that I want to attend.
Should I be 'very nice' and tell my school that I am leaving right now to give them more time to look for a new foreign teacher? The issue with this is that if they cancel my work permit I won't be able to come back to China in mid July.
The safer option would be to tell them that I am leaving after I come back to China from my trip, but that will only leave the school a month or so to find someone new.
How should I do this?
I just finished the first season, and in ep 3 the mom had to go into the morgue to ID her kid.
The thing is, she never id-d the kid, she said it's not her kid several times. Then we just cut to crying mom saying 'it's not my kid' and that's it?
There is no such thing as police or doctors telling you 'well, this is your dead kid whether you agree or not' lol, if the family members don't give a positive id on the kid that means it's not the right kid.
Also the mom asked a question 'there is a mole on his right hand, can I see that?' and then just -cut- new scene lol... never going back to that question...
If the family members believe that it's not the right kid they can't just go ahead and say 'well, we disagree with you, this is the right kid' then have a funeral afterwards in a few days lol.
Compared to the rest of the events this part of the plot feels as if written by a kindergartener.
