Still no way to make battles look bigger?

Watching some videos everything seems ok with the game except I can't see the units properly cause there are so many small tiles and all units are small.

Can't zoom in or somehow make the units bigger in the battles in any way?

Are healers important in pvp?

I love healing in pvp, but I am a bit fatigued from Wow.

Are healers important in Eso pvp?

Would you consider pvp fun in this game?

Can I level as heal?

I don't know much about this game yet, except that if I like healing and pvp this game shouldn't disappoint me.

Can I make it as a healer right from the beginning? What content would be the best to do from low lvl?

Got some other general questions too for a healer, I just don't wanna make an other thread for it so just gonna ask them here:

  1. Do I need any addons for healing (like in wow)?

  2. Do I need macros for healing?

  3. Are there keybinds that target party members? (only in group of five)

  4. How do I heal a bigger raid? Do mouseover heals work?

Uni teachers, do you let your students add your Wechat?

I am gonna be a first time uni teacher starting from September. To be frank, the reason I am doing it is to work less and have more me time (unis don't require office hours).

Maybe it's not important, but I keep thinking about what I'll do if students want to add my Wechat later on. The thing is, I am afraid they'll spam me too much and use me as an English practice outside class time.

Sometimes people I barely know would add me and then ask me questions and message me a lot in a form that it's clear it's just for them to practice their English. With them I can just not reply, and they eventually leave me alone.

There was once a girl that kept messaging me and when I didn't reply she got angry and asked me why I didn't reply lol. Just deleted her and was done with it.

Students, however will be different, cause I'll see them every day, and I don't want any bs tension between us over stupid Wechat messages.

I'd be happy to read about how uni teachers handle the Wechat request thing, I am really not sure what's the best way to go about it.

Do I just tell them 'sorry I feel it's not professional for me to add my students' Wechat'... but then they may say 'but other uni teachers are ok with adding my Wechat', what do I say to that then?

What have your experiences been about this?

The Old Realm mod something is draining my influence

Hi all, I have a question for those who have experience playing with that mod.

I use Diplomacy too, and for some reason something is draining my influence every day in the game.

It is not a policy, I checked.

Is it because I have too many towns and the game is punishing this way? Or is it something else?

Best time to tell my school that I am leaving in my situation?

I've signed a contract with my current school for the next year. Later on, I had changed my mind and decided to look for something new.

I've found a new position now.

The thing is, I am going back to my home country in early July, and I can't change the date since there will be an important event that I want to attend.

Should I be 'very nice' and tell my school that I am leaving right now to give them more time to look for a new foreign teacher? The issue with this is that if they cancel my work permit I won't be able to come back to China in mid July.

The safer option would be to tell them that I am leaving after I come back to China from my trip, but that will only leave the school a month or so to find someone new.

How should I do this?

Weird plot hole in season 1 episode 3

I just finished the first season, and in ep 3 the mom had to go into the morgue to ID her kid.

The thing is, she never id-d the kid, she said it's not her kid several times. Then we just cut to crying mom saying 'it's not my kid' and that's it?

There is no such thing as police or doctors telling you 'well, this is your dead kid whether you agree or not' lol, if the family members don't give a positive id on the kid that means it's not the right kid.

Also the mom asked a question 'there is a mole on his right hand, can I see that?' and then just -cut- new scene lol... never going back to that question...

If the family members believe that it's not the right kid they can't just go ahead and say 'well, we disagree with you, this is the right kid' then have a funeral afterwards in a few days lol.

Compared to the rest of the events this part of the plot feels as if written by a kindergartener.

Phone use during class at uni

Hi all, I am soon about to start my first uni teaching position. What can I expect in terms of students using their phones in class?

Must I allow it if the uni allows it? I am afraid that most students won't focus on the class and just be on their phones, maybe not at first, but after a few weeks/months.

I think this is gonna be really important so I wanna know what to expect.

The uni is in China.

Anyone leveled with a totem Comet build before?

How well did the build do?

I really like the Comet spell animations but I hate self casting, can I make this build work well? Preferably I want to level with it too.

Executing the killer of your main char should not affect you at all

I was having a good day, winning battles left and right till I fucked up and lost one.

To my surprise, instead of the usual 'you are a prisoner now' screen I got the execution screen and unfortunately my head rolled off (donno the f that guy's problem was, I never executed anyone before, didn't even raid a single village)...

I took control of my loyal wife, captured the mf and executed his ass. Instantly, I lost my honorable trait...

Cmon, taking revenge on the killer of ur main char should really not affect you at all (like someone commented, it should increase your honor really...).

Also, I talked to other lords and they didn't even comment on what had happened.

It would have been great to see a few 'wow, so you have finally taken revenge on that king that killed your husband'. Nope, not a single mention of it. It wouldn't take too much for the devs to add a few lines here, it would help so much with the rp aspect.

English speaking labour lawyer?

Hi all, can you recommend a good local labour lawyer who is good at helping out foreigners?

My school may or may not get their license renewed to be able to hire foreigners for the next term, so I would like to know what my options are. My work permit expires in a month, and I am based in Jiangsu.

We were making good progress on the Aserai, some of their shit gone already. Then, peace offering from them. Even with max influence I couldn't change the outcome, yes, they voted for the peace deal. Great, 4k denars daily income for us while all their lords are released and they get to have armies rebuilt again.

Bitch please, I'll give u 4k money daily myself if we get to keep powning them ffs...

No worries, straight up I go declare war against the Aserai, 150 influence cost for me, but 100% support. I got some tricks too!

We back in business, except they are summoning 1.5k armies all over the place again, since their lords with shitton of influence are freed now.

I am busy taking them out one by one, then suddenly, vote on declaring war on the Khuzaits... I was like no...

Again, my influence wouldn't have changed the outcome, they went to war against them.

The only thing this turd AI is looking at is the strength, like how many towns/castles (maybe lords too?) we have.

Except it doesn't take into account that when we are in an active war with someone it's not the best idea to go to a war against a 2nd nation FOR NO FUCKING REASON that's far away on the map. Now the Khuzaits start bringing up 2k armies and are free to take whatever they want from us while we pretty much drained from all the fighting down south.

Ffs, such a great game and such stupid shit makes it unplayable.

I am a vassal, would it make a difference if I were the king? Would I have bigger say in whether we make peace or go to war?

Would the diplomacy mod make a difference?

edit: ty for the ideas, imma just use the peace cheat in this situation (I didn't know there were cheats in this game). I never had an issue with 2-3 nations declaring on us, cause I was RPing and I was like 'yeah, makes sense that nations would work together to try to own 1 nation.' But us declaring war on a different nation while we are fighting against a nation that is still strong is straight up retarded bs and makes no sense.

edit edit: ok I may have been a bit stupid, I didn't realize that the Khuzait and Aserai formed an alliance, maybe that's why our lords wanted to attack them.
