And to add something more

I wanna ask the other subreddits which are predominantly men... I didn't see a single post about twisha on your sub

Ps- The atul subhash comment is on a post talking about twisha

Samosas plain vs with chane

I like samosas but don't really love it unless it comes with chana and some gravy

Plain samosas with just chutney don't really hit the spot

Thoughts?

Do you think homophobia was acquired from colonizers?

I recently saw a video by ankush bahuguna and found out that teasing about homosexuality is very prevalent in the UK

And I believe it exists in India due to colonization

However I will do more research about this topic and open to any discussion

I do feel it has much more psychological impact than just acquisition because no one questions why homophobia exists and the debate always ends with a simple statement 'its not a part of our culture"

The term culture alone is used to misinterpret so many things I cannot start enlisting

Gatekeepers of patriarchy

It's so diabolical to me even now how well the society brainwashed women to believe their basic rights are against culture and how women became the gatekeepers of patriarchy.

You cannot help someone who doesn't want to be helped. Just to crib about innocence and glorify their struggle and expect you to do the same.

Real life trope

This happens every fkin time

I see some clips or recommendation of a show , I start watching it , i like it

I search it on reddit

My fav character is somehow the most hated one

The sitcom itself has a huge hate base

why is every sub on this platform so threatened by women having a choice?

I saw this post that a couple unalived themselves because their dil beat them up because she couldn't fit into their village life and used to post reels which was bringing *shame* to the family

I see how problematic this is but the men commenting genuinely scared me

I saw a man's comment saying that we should marry *good* women who stay away from all these things and that even *good* women, when given a choice, hava me udd jaati hain; adulthood for them is doing all these things

So I replied that adulthood means having a choice and apparently that's a lot to ask for

I'm downvoted so much that the comment is now at -7 votes

And he replied, 'So marry someone who gives you the choice; don't ruin a good man's life.'

So I replied i wouldn't even marry if I had the choice to

And somehow that's triggering too because I'm on negative votes on this comment too. 😭🙏

I have no problem being disagreed with, but this is just SCARY

Hot take : Raj koothrapali

I think as much raj was insecure and desperate in about every season for a relationship towards the end getting an arranged marriage was taking him to another direction

The storyline could've been tailored a bit more differently to give closure to raj if they wanted to keep him single

I think he should've had the realisation that he was complete on his own... Which he never did

If they shaped it in a slightly different manner , it could've gotten so much better

The one they went with , infuriates me

What's your opinion on school punishments?

I've recently been getting many memes about how the schools gave more physically intense punishment to the boys and not girls

How do we feel about this?

I feel no teacher shall have the right to beat any kid irrespective of their gender

One of the most annoying one is when someone plans something, they go Outta their way to plan and it somehow, all of it gets ruined in hurry

But the day is saved because all of them are together and it's a perfect moment anyway

Especially during proposals😭

Do you feel triggered about women demanding money from men?

To a certain level it's okay like small acts of love

But women always demanding - buy me this , buy me that WHEN THEY ARE THEMSELVES CAPABLE of doing the same and projecting this idea of just begging for money or things just pisses me off..

I hope no woman has to spend her life doing SMTH like that🙏

Edit - i understand the gender neutral arguments and I agree any gender doing that would annoy you , but my point caters the women who earn themselves and still rely on their partners to buy them stuff even they are themselves capable of doing the same My post and annoyance was specific

Let me ragebait you...

Did you know income tax laws had a provision for a 'minor married daughter' ??

I've not read the income tax act 2025 , but the 1961 one had such provisions relating to house property 🥰🥰🥰

I made a post , a few days back, almost around a month

I was venting about not being able to do accounts and surprisingly many people could relate to it

It made me feel normal and I tried my best to do accounts and fortunately I'm almost done with the practical portion

Some practice for amalgamation is still needed but imma keep trying

Sometimes venting does help and we may not realise how one advice could affect anyone

That's it :)

Ek baar ek aadmi ka phone table se baar baar girta rehta hai

Toh dusra aadmi puchta hai yeh baar baar gir kyu raha hai?

Samne wala admi kehta hai kyuki ismein balance nhi hai /s

Read this in a newspaper in 2015 , still funnier than most of the jokes I read on this sub

i was really rooting for these two since the very first episode, and I kind of knew they had chemistry but by the end of the series it all just died

there was no chemistry; Amy was a completely different person, and jonah was kind of reasonable about wanting more but so was Amy.

they drifted apart so naturally it became obvious by the end.

( im on s6 the ep where they break up )

thoughts?

I have been thinking a lot about this ever since the debate for marital rape laws sparked. I feel gender neutrality should be a common principle for law. Having said that, I also believe the law AS A WHOLE should be revised, not just certain parts of it, e.g., rape laws for men and property laws of women

i feel every person irrespective of their gender should be able to exercise such basic rights

but our representation has been so disappointing; I don't see that happening in the next several decades
