Teacher accused host for "deflecting blame" [Vent]
So we go to a psych school, and our teachers are not educated on mental health, which is irony that I won't get into. My system is heavily fictive-based, and my main alter is Lute from Hazbin Hotel. We are currently trying to get tested, but because we go to that school, it's really hard to qualify.
Host's friend, who I will be calling J, writes on our MP4, because phones are not allowed. Normally our host is allowed with it, but yesterday J took the MP4 without her permission.
This morning, our host got into an argument with her mom, which led to her asking Lute to front. Lute/I fronted for about half the school day, before she came back into co-com and eventually took over. However, in the morning, I spoke to Host's teacher.
This was because she told us that J had been reading/writing pornographic content. J wasn't at school yet, so I explained that our host wasn't available and I wasn't her. (Host's inner world name is Staria)
I basically said that she couldn't reach Staria right then because she had gotten into a situation and she was unable to front, and our teacher basically said that we were deflecting blame and because of this, we couldn't bring the MP4 anymore.
To my knowledge, J knows we are a questioning system, but despite this, when she arrived at school, she played into the accusation. I tried to explain what D.I.D was and how it worked, but she wasn't hearing it. And J kept calling us multiple personalities and returned to her own defense.
Staria is really worried she isn't a system, and because we are fictive heavy, she is worried because she doesn't want to be called an endosystem (not hated towards them). She would like to talk to her therapist to get a doctor's note, but she is not in the situation where she can get that diagnosis without being judged. She doesn't want to risk having another situation where I or another alter get put in front and we can't situate it properly, but if we do end up seeking out a proper diagnosis, we don't know what will happen.
