Im looking for a xj for a good offroader/a winter beater in alaska and i know i want one with the 4.0 anything i should lookout for when buying one, any issues to lookout for when buying and best years or trims to look for?
Last night they messsaged me on fb saying the messages couldnt go through and then they gave me a out of state number not weird my number is out of state and i had a feeling when i gave them my cashapp it wouldn't go through and it did, whats the best move here?
Its brand new i got it from a buddy no wiring with it or attachment bracket/radio conversion tips for installing it /can anybody find links for the harness and adapater i believe its a 10 inch double din or if it would even work itd help a lot btw its a 1996 jeep grand cherokee laredo/a zj
It was pretty wet when i was changing my oil just curious of how bad this really is ik my buddy before i bought it put some of that lucas stop leak goop in the oil resivoir so hopefully that helped a lil, and the carfax shows good maintenance history it is a 5.2 v8 with 140k miles.
Just noticed it on my zj 96 v8 Laredo how hard/what parts do i need to fix it?
I know nothing about these was 50 bucks a good deal and can i get a sd card adapter for my phone let me know if i got a deal or screwed myself??

My zj is having a bunch of weird issues i got it from a buddy who replaced nearly 2 grand in parts maybe over that, its a 5.2 and it had the fuel tank replaced one day he was filling it and the tank pissed fuel everywhere, fuel pump,radiator, alternator more i cant rember now last fall we went outside and near the transmission it was straight pissing fuel he gave up on it let it sit a winter then i bought it now heres where it gets weird with over half a tank we threw a jump box on it and bam it starts up no damn issues so we run it drive about 15 mins then let it idle maybe another 5-10 minutes no leaks no problems give it a day and with a jump box it was cranking then it would start but you had to floor it to keep it idling we did that for a minute then just let it sit, now we inspected fuel lines and there is no where we could find the leaks, any tips on what i should replace or do, only thing mechanically rn i believe it needs is the TPS sensor any advice or tips help its not my daily its my beater/cheap offroader just tryna not break the bank with repairs.
