Hey guys, got myself in a bit of a pickle.

Car went out on me in the middle of the road after it started to flash the battery and e-brake lights. It happened around a month ago but then resolved itself, but it came back again today and fucked me over. Just replaced battery under warranty, so I don't think it's that. I'm pretty sure it is the wiring going faulty due to the vibrations caused by the engine, and not the alternator (although that's still a possibility)

Where can I buy a new wiring kit for the alternator? Bettery to take it off from a pick n pull/junkyard?

Hey yall.

I've been searching for a controller to get started on learning to DJ and whatnot, and i've done a decent amount of searching about what controllers I want to get, and I've been trying to get one used for less than $200, and i've been searching for DDJ-400, DDJ-SB3, DDJ-FLX2, DDJ-FLX4, and Hercules Inpulse 300 Mk2's.

Two Questions Here:

I've been mostly checking facebook marketplace and Ebay for deals, but how is luck with Goodwill? i was avoiding goodwill assuming all of them are just broken controllers (hence the super cheap prices), but is it worth it?

Secondly, I found a listing for a Hercules 300 for around 150 bucks or so including tax and shipping, does that sound like it's worth? I'm really close to buying it, but I'd like some input about it.

I've been really obsessed over the Amiga Demo, "Jesus on E's" for the past few weeks, and slowly picking apart the tracker files by spoonwzd to see how it was done and how to get that amazing rave sound.

Are there any similar demos with an emphasis on rave-ish music with visuals?

Yo guys, went for a nice drive last night and right as I was getting home, my brake light and my battery light started flickering, especially when I was using turn signals and whatnot. I checked my battery voltage with a multimeter when I parked and shut the car off, and it only had 11.8V of charge. I just replaced the battery 9 months ago, so I know that it's not the battery itself, and I'm 99% sure that it's the alternator.

I'm an idiot, I scanned it around a month ago with an OBD2 and saw that it had a P1500 Alternator FR Terminal Errror, but I didn't notice anything wrong with it when I continued driving it and told myself I'd get to it later.

Luckily I have a jumper so I can jump my own car, but I really need to fix this ASAP since I am moving back home after my school year ends.

How would I go about getting this tested? Looking at the connections and grounds?

Hello. Just wrapping up my third year of Mechanical Engineering right now.

Within this past year I've been experiencing an extremely high amount of burnout, and I've kidna stopped doing a lot of the things I used to do, both academically and hobby-wise. Two quarters ago, when my grades started dropping, I tried to self-discipline by abstaining from "fun" things, but that just made my stress state worse and my grades good.

as someone who was getting mostly A's their first 1.5 years of college, I really don't know why I can't do this anymore. It'd be a day before midterms, I know I'm behind, I know I need to do things and to study but I just... can't will myself to do it, and I can't figure out myself why.

I've really tried to cut down on the social media use and dopamine distractions, but I just don't know what to do. Have I just been studying wrong for most of high school and never properly adjusted when classes began to get harder? i don't think i'm depressed, at least I don't think so but idk at this point.

Heya, I was working on the car and doing an oil change when I noticed that the power steering fluid has been leaking a lot more quickly than usual. I had noticed that there were grease stains from slight leaking several months ago, but I now see that there is a clear crack within the steering fluid hose going from the reservoir to the rest of the car.

Has anyone done a replacement for those hose lines? I checked club3g but there didn't seem to be much documentation for such a job.

I'm going into my 4th year, and have already taken a lot of my classes and am a little ahead. I'm taking:

ME4305 (Mechatronics 2)

ME4419 (Controls)

ME4440 (Thermal Systems)

ME4460 (Senior Design Proj)

MATH3051 (Combinatronics)

This is only 14 units, I had to get a 5th class cuz it would've been 11 if not, and I still need to complete my math minor.

I've already finished all of my GE's too, so unless I wanna take a useless class I don't see a reason to enroll in a GE.

Am I GENUINELY FUCKED?

Hey yall, in a bit of a dilemma here.

Just yesterday, I bought tickets to the unofficial listening party at the Audium (thank you r/boardsofcanada people for organizing it), and then today I just hear that a not only were a whole bunch of extra mini listening parties at record stores were released, but there would be one right within my college town, and would be literally 5 minutes from my home.

I think that the Audium experience would be great, but I'll be real, I don't want to spent 8 hours driving just to listen, when I can do it literally here, but I know that the Audium has an excellent sound system.

At this point, I'm considering not goingto the Audium event. What do you guys think?
