My pool is getting open today and I asked them not to add the chemicals. I will be testing the water. Last year due to some confusion I added chemicals incorrectly and stained the liner. I went to trouble free pools and followed exactly the citric acid procedure but as soon as I would add back any chlorine, the stain would reappear. Now I’ve read that Jack’s magic blue stuff can be used Without concern about chlorine levels. Since today is opening, maybe the chlorine will be low. I will be adding the Jack’s blue stuff. I will be leaving the pump running and then tomorrow apparently I will vacuum and also change the pump filter. I do not have a saltwater generator.Has anyone had luck removing metal stains with just Jack’s blue stuff. I read it can be done I’m just hopeful. I cannot deal with the citric acid process this year.
I just open the product it says for quartz aggregate finishes, and I have a vinyl liner. Is it still safe to use this?

65f I’m experiencing thinning breakage and shedding. Probably the normal amount for my age but I’d like to prevent as much loss as possible.

Statins FFS it won’t let me correct ^

Just got back from my cardiologist appointment because I was seeking a second opinion. My primary has been on me for eight years to start a statin. I had three calcium cardiac scores of zero. Lipoprotein A was less than 10. So I was so happy when this doc said new AHA GUIDELINES stated for me, chance of MI in 10years less the 6%. Told me to eat plant based and come back in a year.

These numbers are actually greatly improved by doing psyllium religiously. No other risk factors for me or in my family. But 3 of 6 siblings on statins/ have never had the CC score or lipoprotein test done., now they are wondering if they really needed statins. I was almost certain he’d recommend one😊😊😊😊😊

I have skinless chicken thighs defrosting- I’d like to air fry as I’m dieting/ any recipes to keep an appealing look and taste ? I’m not totally opposed to a little bit of panko I guess?
