I've recently finished Persona 3, and have come to realize how extremely similar both my OTPs are (Shuyuka, Makoto Yuki/ protagonist X Yukari Takeba, and Zutara) are. Like there are SOOO many parallels. Sun and Moon, The guy helping the girl accept the death of her parental figure (mom for Katara, dad for Yukari) hell even the hug that Shuyuka shares on the island of Yakushima directly parallels Zutara's hug in Southern raiders (both are about coming to terms with parent's death, and being forced to grow up quickly because of it) and that's just off the top of my head lol. I could probably go so much more in depth.

With that being said, one massive difference is that Makoto dies at the end of the game, and Yukari is left to deal with the grief that comes with losing her boyfriend (friend if you choose not to romance her, but it's heavily implied that's the “canon” option) I also wonder how many P3 / Shuyuka fans are there in the Zutara fandom, I feel like both ship's fandoms would be best friends

I wanna see people's take on something like Zuko's hypothetical death and how it would effect Katara and the rest of the gaang

I've cleared the mainstory, and uninstalled the uninstallable files to save some space. then it hit me with this (btw my DL speed is 2-5mb per second, not 11)

With the first wave of P3R characters coming to a close, and Miku around the corner, I decided that I wanted to try one last time for A2 Makoto, and bet on Miku's banner length as an excuse for pulling him. I am a completionist, I have the whole main story cleared, every side story cleared, every palace and mementos section cleared, most synergies to 15 or higher (ran out of marathon energy cans) and all of Tartarus cleared. The only content left for me to do and get pulls out of is whatever is left of the metro of desire missions that I gotta do, and achievements. It really does look like I'm gonna come up short by the end of the patch regardless, but maybe some kind of miracle will happen if I decide to push for A2 1 final time. Worst case scenario happens and I don't get A2? At least it's a free Miku & summer Minami, or Miku A1. With all of this being said, can any of you recommend some kind of achievement hunting guide that has helped you clear most achiements? Obviously most if not all of them aren't possible in a few days, let alone one sitting, but I still wanna try to see what I can do

I really hope posting this to reddit isn't a bad idea 😭 I generally don't like posting to the internet but I hope you guys like my Shuyukgis slop. Should I color it as well? Turn it into an actual illustration?? I'm also not that good at drawing so forgive me if Shuyuka's bodies look wonky, for example

In some of the original leaks I saw, P6 protag had gray eyes and that yellow bowl cut. Now it looks distinctly more blue (at least to me) and he even has Bebe's signature fan and holds it the same way. I really like callbacks to older games ect. And seeing an old character we all recognize get new life breathed into them seems pretty cool (especially if it's a side character like Bebe). This is also giving me hope that P6 will take place at least partially in France, which sounds super cool and would make P6 VERY distinct since Bebe goes back to France at the end of his social link.

Since the character in the illustration is wearing a Gekkoukan school uniform, it makes me think that if this is P6 protag, then he has to be Bebe's son or something especially because P3 takes place in 2009 and P6 is said to take place in 2027. Bebe is 16 in 2009, so in 2027 he would be 34 — old enough to have a child (now if this child is 16 then Bebe would have been 18 when he had them, which is eeehhh but idk maybe P6 protag is actually 15 or something) . I'm actually surprised that P6 protag here (I think it's P6 protag) is wearing the Gekkoukan uniform. For some reason I thought the school was destroyed or something at the end of P3, but I haven't P3R yet (in January, so almost done with the game)

The screen is glitching around a lot — crazily enough, it stops when I try to take a screenshot directly on my PC, so I had to take a picture with my phone. How do I stop this? And it gets exasperated out of full screen

Running around Akashi's side of the palace trying to figure out where the blue power source on the map is so I could drag a robot here to open up the rest of the map, and I can't find it. So I'm asking if there are any other freaks who are trying to 100% the whole map who know the answer to this !

Genuinely what is the point of this. People for years have been coming up with stories, AUs, character designs, world building ect. All WITHOUT the help of AI. If anything, using AI in any part of your process at all would degrade your work and show off how much you are NOT a creative person willing to take things on yourself and gain experiences and make connections through them.

I've never seen this in game (in December rn) and I wanna know where this came from

I'll start with my own picks. SPOILERS FOR PERSONA 5 ROYAL

Do keep in mind that these are all just my opinions, and that I am 100% open to discussion on this.

Ren / Joker / the protagonist:

I think that it would be Ichika, seeing as she is the poster girl of pjsk (besides Miku) she would fit being the protagonist. Tsukasa as well if you wanna do the FEMC / Male MC thing. Also it fits Tsukasa being a wild card because he can act as all kinds of characters (even if he's best at playing the MC in most cases)

Morgana / Mona:

I'm not taking this one very seriously. I do wanna say Miku because of the fact that they are both creatures born of the metaverse / SEKAIs, but Miku knows all about SEKAIs, Morgana doesn't. If anything, Miku would do better as Igor than anyone else

Ryuji / Skull:

Probably Akito. Comes off as very-standoffish at first, but you'll find that he's a pretty upstanding man who genuinely cares for his friends, and will bite your head off if you dare make fun of them / bully or harass them in any way

Ann (Takamaki) / Panther:

Mizuki I feel would be best, because Ann and Mizuki both have had a history of harassment for their looks (Ann being half American and Mizuki being trans), yet continue to look past that and not let the harassment define them after meeting their best friends (Ann Takamaki with Shiho Suzui, Mizuki with Ena / An Shiraishi / Rui)

Yusuke / Fox:

I'm pretty sure a lot of you were hoping I'd save Rui for Akechi with Tsukasa as the protagonist, but I'll get into why I think Akechi would be someone else in a bit. I chose Rui for the fact that both Rui and Yusuke are painted as Autism-coded moderately attractive characters who are both very well-versed in their hyperfixations. Yusuke constantly talks and thinks about art and it's semantics, and Rui constantly talks about robotics and direction and their technicalities. Yusuke was called Hot by Ryuji at one point and 2 NPC girls hit on Yusuke during the summer festival. Rui is confirmed to have secret admirers who put chocolate in his locker on Valentine's day, which all but guarantees his canonical attractiveness.

Makoto / Queen:

This is the first character who I have absolutely no idea what to say about, maybe Ena because they both sorta have a meanish know-it-all attitude, but if we're looking at this a little past the surface and into the character stories, I would say Mafuyu because they both feel like they are useless with no real perpous in their lives until they join their respective groups (the phantom thieves for Makoto, and N25 for Mafuyu) both are also pressed by the caregivers in their families to get perfect grades and go to prestigious colleges (Although Makoto's sister is nothing like Mafumom)

Futaba / Oracle (Navi):

I'm pretty sure a lot of you are inclined to say Nene because green hacker introvert girl (Futaba) and green gamer introvert girl (Nene). But I'm actually willing to say Kanade. This because Both Kanade and Futaba have lost their parents due to something that they thought they did, (Futaba thought she nagged her mom to suicide as a kid, and Kanade causing her dad's coma due to her desire to create music) both became depressed internet -loving hikkikomoris desperate to continue their late parents' work out of guilt and grief, and both are being taken care of by an outside party (Futaba and Sojiro, and Kanade and Honami (HONAMI IS SOJIRO??))

Haru / Noir:

I'm not exactly sure on who to say for Haru, because Haru is a rich, calm, cinnamon roll (who is also canonically kinda sadistic. Source: her Mementos voice lines) who is being pressed by her dad to take over when he's gone and gets sold off to mary some random boy who is the son of a politician for political power (luckily The Phantom Thieves save her from this) I could say Toya, but I'm saving him for the next character

Akechi / Crow:

I think Toya is the best option for Akechi for a couple different reasons (especially if Tsukasa is the protagonist). both Toya and Akechi are smart, calm, critically thinking, and attractive. More importantly, both are born to abusive Fathers (with mostly absent / entirely absent mothers) who pushed both Toya and Akechi to their limits as children. The main difference is, Toya is lucky enough to have Tsukasa and Saki, as well as Akito, An, and Kohane later down the line to save him from losing himself to his Father's abuse. Akechi didn't. In fact, Akechi acknowledges that had Ren met him a couple years back, he could have saved him from the hole he dug himself into trying to get revenge on his father. Knowing how close Toya and Tsukasa canonically are in pjsk, I think it would be very impactful to have Toya play Akechi's part in this hypothetical.

Lastly,

Sumire (Kasumi) / Violet

Sumire is another one that I don't really know what to say about. Maybe Emu since they're both upbeat young girls with a history with gymnastics who also confirmed have doppelgangers (Emu and that princess, and Sumire with her dead older sister, Kasumi) but as far as I know, that princess girl isn't biologically related to Emu in any way, so I'm very open to suggestions on this one as well

I just realized that I thought about all of these with Tsukasa as the protagonist in mind, without paying any attention to Ichika whom I mentioned once and never again in this whole thing. Please remember that these are all just my opinions, and I am also open to different opinions in this discussion .
