Favorite umbrella stands for small homes

Y’all… yesterday it rained so bad. Good thing I had my umbrella though. When I got home, I leaned it  on the wall by the entryway. 30 minutes later there was a huge streak of water on my floor. I thought about just letting it lie on the floor, but wouldn’t that just cause a puddle. I’ve looked at my entire house for a good place to put it in the future but I've come up blank. Now I've resorted to buying an umbrella stand. You know those cute ones that are usually on alibaba and the like? I want something that won’t take up too much space, my house is really small and i have no space to waste. Also, it has to fit the vibe of my house so that I can just have it in the entryway. I’ve seen some that have a removable drip tray at the bottom to avoid any messes, that would be perfect for me. For those who have those stands that they swear by, please recommend. I don’t want to be caught off guard in the coming rainy season.

Best notebook stands for writing setups

What’s up everyone,
So, I'm a writer. Shocking? I know. Yes, we’re still needed, no ai hasn’t replaced us. Not completely anyway. Anyway, I really enjoy my work and do hours and hours of work daily. After years of working at a computer, the glare gives me mad headaches(antiglare glasses haven’t helped) so for like 6 months now, i’ve had to go back to writing in the traditional sense, pen, paper… It's been a hard transition y’all but i’m getting used to it. The worst part is the discovery that I have to work at my desk because it’s the only place sturdy enough for me to write. so , i’m looking for a notebook stand, mainly just for flexibility. It has to be sturdy and it would be great if it has those little clips that keep the paper flat as you write. Also, it should have a slope, and be adjustable to avoid neck strain. Bonus points if I can fold it to keep away once I'm done. I saw some on alibaba but still undecided. Any recs?

Which portable laptop stands are most practical?

Hey y’all, i seriously need help…i’ve been having debilitating neck and back pain for months now. I finally went to see the doctor and guess what caused it? Apparently i have terrible posture..for context i’m a recent cs graduate and i’ve been freelancing. All of the work i’ve done so far has been remote. I have a sweet desk set-up at home but working at one spot for hours on end can be too much, you know? So just to switch it up i started going to nearby cafes…i really enjoy working at random places, only problem is that i can’t obviously carry my desk around with me. So i’ve been thinking about getting a laptop stand that i can move around with easily. I’ve looked through online stores and still not sure how to choose. It has to have adjustable height, so that it can be at eye level. And it should be sturdy so that it’s not wobbly every time i type. Please recommend any that you think would work for me.

Favorite desk organizers for remote workers

Hi everyone,
My desk refuses to stay organized! I do the most to keep it organized, it’s gotten to the point where I’ve got to organize it literally everyday. Still, at the end of every day, it’s just a pile of clutter and I can't find anything. To be fair though, i’m a remote worker and have all my work things at my desk…on top of that, I've discovered my hobbies are quite space consuming, I like to read and I'm beginning to draw. So picture my work documents, daily planner, current reads, pencils & other art supplies, laptop, random notebooks all on one tiny desk space. Also, this is so embarrassing, i’ve had two instances where i’ve had my camera on for work and it panned to my desk, yooh, the embarrassment! Anyways, I've decided to look into desk organizers to save my sanity (and dignity). I’m on the hunt for something with compartments and possibly a slot for my keyboard. Also, one that looks decent and is wooden to match my desk. I’ve been seeing some on alibaba but i can’t tell the quality from pics. Please tell me your faves in the comments. I will really appreciate.

Which straw lid bottles are easiest to clean?

Y’all…i just saw something major! Harmful germs and mold could actually live in our water bottles? I came across a post that said this. I just looked at my water bottle and it made my skin crawl. I did some more research and found multiple papers claiming this. I like the reusability of my bottle(we’re saving the environment folks!), i couldn’t possibly switch to single use plastic ones. The only practical solution i’ve seen so far is to wash it daily….only issue is, mine has this complicated straw lid that i can’t figure out how to disassemble ... .I need to be able to wash every single part of it. I will not risk disease! So now i’m on the hunt for a new one, i still want a straw lid bottle, it’s just much easier than sipping, i always hit my daily water goal. Anyways, i’ve been on alibaba and the like, i’ve seen some i would probably buy, i’m just not sure i’ll be able to take the straw lid apart. Any recs for what i’m looking for?

Which shoe benches are most practical

Hey y’all
I have a problem, I have too many shoes and nowhere to put them. Before you jump to conclusions, no, I’m not a hoarder, i actually need and use each pair of shoes I own. I just have no space to put them. In the past, I put them in my closet but that’s just not working anymore. So, often, I end up having a pile of shoes in my entryway especially by the end of the week. And sometimes I have to dig through the pile just to get what I want. This is no way to live…
I’ve decided to make use of my entryway and buy a shoe bench, those ones that are usually on sites like alibaba. I want one that doesn’t need too much work to set up, and it shouldn’t be too deep(i have neither the time nor energy to be digging for shoes), also, they should be open so that i can easily see and access my shoes. It should be strong enough for me to be able to sit on without it falling apart. Any recs for one that would fit about 25 pairs(not a hoarder!)?

Best catch-all trays for wallets and keys

Hi guys,
I moved houses a couple of days ago and i’ve just discovered that I lost my tray that I used for my wallet, keys, lip gloss, sunglassess…all those essential items that you might need to grab just as you leave the house, you know? I didn’t realize just how important that tray was until i lost it. These days whenever I leave the house, I'm always missing something: wallet, keys…i know it’s because i don’t have one specific spot for them. My friend who got me the one i lost can’t remember exactly where she got it from, just that it was from alibaba. I’m looking for one that would match the aesthetics of my living room( I have a cool midcentury modern vibe going on), so a cool wooden one would be great. It still has to be large enough to hold everything I need it to. If you have any that have worked out great for you, please point me in the right direction.

Which wall-mounted mail organizers are useful?

Hey everyone. So I have three roommates and we share a common area. I like my living sitch so far and my roommates are great, the only problem is the mail…it’s everywhere. On the table, the couch, the chairs, the floor. We all receive a bunch of mail pretty regularly. What makes it worse is that we’re all procrastinators so they tend to pile up. Add to that the random paperwork, receipts and old menus…our common area always looks like a total crime scene. And when we actually need to check them, they’re nowhere to be found. We don’t have a lot of space to spare but I figured we could get a wall mounted mail organizer. One of my roommates has said alibaba has the best options. I want something sturdy that won’t fall on us and has enough slots for everyone. If anyone has any suggestions of what could work please come to my rescue in the comments below, any recommendations would really help me out. Thanks.

Best key holders for entryways

Y’all…if I lose my keys one more time I will definitely lose it! I swear every evening when I come back home I put my keys where I'm most likely to find them the next morning yet every morning when I’m leaving the house I have to engage my superdectective senses to look for them. Do keys have legs and y’all didn’t tell me? I’m tired of running late and turning my entire apartment upside down just to find my keys buried under a random bag or in between the couch cushions. I have an almost empty entryway and figured that I could make use of it…I want a keyholder so that I can hang my keys right by the door, hopefully this way I won't keep playing a losing game of hide and seek. I want something that’s super aesthetic but also very functional. And I need them to really stick to the wall. I’ve been looking around and saw some really good ones on alibaba…those with multiple hooks. I just don’t know which to go with. I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

Best hanging closet organizers

Hey everyone. I need help….I have a huge closet but just not enough shelves so my clothes just end up sort of lying around and it looks cluttered. I figured the best option would be to get those hanging closet organizers. I even bought some a while back but they didn’t last even a week, they sagged once I actually put things inside and everything kinda bowed in the middle. I need a sturdy vertical system so that everything is organized. I’m looking for hanging closet organizers that can genuinely hold some weight without sagging in the middle or ripping. I also wouldn’t mind those with pockets at the sides for smaller stuff. I’ve scoured the internet and it seems like alibaba, of all the online stores, has the ones that would work best for me. Before I commit and make the same mistake, I wanted to know what has worked for you guys. Please recommend!

Best jewelry travel cases

Whats up y’all! Summer is right around the corner and my friends and I have booked an amazing vacation that we’re really looking forward to. We have almost everything we need to make this the best trip ever except for jewelry travel cases. In the past, I have always put my jewelry in random ziploc bags when traveling and every single time without fail, I always end up with one giant tangled mess. It has taken me a few tries but I finally learned my lesson. I want a working system that will not have me worried the entire trip because I have to untangle the pieces I need to wear. I’ve been looking at online stores, every single product claims to be tangle free but the reviews say otherwise. I’m looking for something compact but structured with secure spots for hooks, earrings, rings..and keep them separated during travel. I’ve seen some really cute ones on alibaba but there’s no way to know what will actually work. Has anyone bought a case or jewelry roll recently that they genuinely swear by and won't just break on me? Please help a girl out!

Good foldable storage cubes

Hey everyone…
So I've realized I need some storage cubes. I have two kids who have accumulated so much stuff. Their room is always messy even though I know they do their best to keep everything folded and where it’s supposed to be. There’s just not enough closet space. And on top of that I seem to have acquired a lot over the course of my not too short life. No room in my house stays organized no matter how hard I try. As a mom, I take great pride in my house being neat. Honestly, every time I have to live in the mess that this house is, I feel like I’m being pushed to the edge.
I think foldable storage cubes would be a perfect addiction to my house…they are just what I need to achieve the neatness I desire. Recently, I’ve been browsing on alibaba and I’ve seen some really cute foldable storage cubes that would match the colour scheme of my house. The only thing I’m unsure about is their functionality…I want storage cubes that are actually foldable so that they’re not taking any space when not in use. Also, obviously, they should be sturdy. Please recommend some that would be perfect for closet organisation and for toys and random stuff like remotes, magazines…..
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
