The Passing Days, my oil painting

A series of Adobe structures with maze like qualities. Inspired by Santa Fe and North African architecture, as well as the surrealist artists and symbolist painter Arnold Bocklin. All are oil paintings except the last piece.
One watercolor. These are inspired by mysterious desert dreams I’ve had in the past. Adobe structures, similar to Santa Fe, were common, especially villages. The dreams were very archetypal and Jungian in nature, which led me to discovering the work of Jung in early college.
A woman becomes convinced that her furniture is conspiring against her…Although not shown, there is an entity capable of shape shifting into furniture objects. Its goal is not to kill, but to infiltrate and psychologically destroy its victim.
