Been a bit anxious about my savings lately... unsure if I'm doing well or need to work harder.

We ended three years ago, and beginning he loved bombed the fck out of me, calling me his dream girl and he’d marry me one day. Then life started getting stressful for him career wise, and he backed off completely. When I told him I was hurting cause he never had time for me, he blew up on me. He went on about all he had going on in his life and then blocked me, not giving me chance to apologize or explain myself.

My friend texted me today, he got engaged. I never got closure from him (due to the situation) and this thought seeing him engaged would hurt me a lot more than it did. However, I feel okay? And not to be a huge bitch or hate on anyone’s taste, but when I saw pictures of the engagement, it’s so opposite of what I would have wanted accepted. Like I’d be upset if I was dating someone and this was my proposal.

I’m all for effort in a relationship, and when I saw the pics, they’re just on a random beach, tshirts and besides the ring, nothing screamed engagement, like there wasn’t even a flower. The photos looked to be taken on his iPhone.

My ideal engagement would be somewhere nice, us dressed up, something romantic planned and some kind of photographer.

Am I a bitch for not feeling hurt seeing him engaged because it wasn’t what I would have wanted? I think if I saw him giving a girl my dream proposal, I’d be in pieces today, but I’m fine? Does this make me shallow?

Also, is reason we didn’t work out because of my high standards?

Need inspo ! I have date coming up and just want to feel pretty. I’ve not been on a date in long time and feel I’ve nothing to wear. Nothing I see online screams first date to me. Please help

Living in Dublin

want to get into a doctorate for educational psychology and need to strengthen my resume with a masters.
However, this is only masters I can find that I can do part time alongside with full time teaching (I'm a special class teacher and rely on my salary to live in Dublin. I can't afford to not work and go back for masters)
I already have a PSI accredited degree in psychology and special education

I went to my cousins wedding and on the Day 2 saw the most beautiful man ever. I was too nervous to speak to him (because he was so beautiful I’m normally so good with guys).
I found out his name and found him on insta BUT since it’s my cousins friend I don’t want to be creepy (I’d normally just dm a guy I thought was cute)
I saw him on raya few weeks ago but no match. Sometimes people repeat on Raya, will I just wait till I see him again on it and hope we match this time?
