note, I did not read the comic thankfully, just found it in a post and edited

So basically it goes like this

Nick decides to track where his mom is after finnick says a lie about buying a plushie for his cousin (its for him). And successfully finds Mama Wilde.

They reconnect and Nick introduces Mama Wilde to Judy... Then Nick finds an image of both Mama and Papa Wilde and asks a bit about his father, Mama Wilde accepts that she never said the whole story as to why he was never in the picture and said that Papa Wilde did some handjobs for Mr. Big to gets some money for the family but one day failed and got iced (this was when nick was still a kit). She never got the strength to tell the whole story.

After that, Nick and Judy go to Mr. Big and demands his father back, Mr. Big accepts saying that he was placed head too early when he was more hot headed and regretted his action of icing Papa Wilde. Saying he (Mr. Big) had a temper... he doubts that Nick's dad is still alive but remembers that Duke Weaselton survived being iced a bunch of times.

Then back at the hospital, unfrozen Papa Wilde wakes up from a three month coma and both him and Nick have a convo, catching up and leading to an "I'm sorry" moment, especially feeling bad for not being there for him all his life (especially the scout thing). He said that he wished he could be there.

Nick then has nightmare of his childhood trauama from Z1 and tells Judy about it saying he can't live with it, this leads to an intimate moment with the two (good wildehopps moment). Judy tells Nick that despite most of the scouts grew up to have normal lives, the one that muzzled him became a smuggler and was the suspect on one of Judy's cases.

Next up, we have Nick and Judy going to the docks and facing off that already grown up scout and and his henchmen, the leader (already grown up scout) escapes but is caught by surpirsingly nick's dad who escaped the hospital, he faints cuz he's too weak.

Back at hospital, Nick says thanks to his father (all ok again) and have a tender moment...

Final scene, Hopps family is celebrating Cotton's birthday and everyone is invited including Z2 characters like Gary and Nibbles.

Nick's family meets Judy's family and they get along, Finnick also comes and apparently his lie showed out... apparently he wanted to be the "cute" uncle who the kids could play with and cuddle up with (showing out that nice tender self he embraces of being in those animal suits all the time).

Nick and Judy then kiss and the party is on!
