I honestly never realized that Teen Wolf (1985) was the first movie to actually SPEAK a version of “with great power comes great responsibility.” Scott’s father tells him, “with great power goes a greater responsibility,” while explaining what being a werewolf means. We associate that line so heavily with Spider-Man today that hearing essentially the same words spoken in Teen Wolf 17 years before Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man is kind of wild.

That would be amazing. They could make each season focus on a different era or decade of war, starting with Kane’s era in 96' or the Red Alert era.

But Command & Conquer could work REALLY well as a 10-episode TV series. There’s more than enough lore, to carry multiple seasons.

I hope they can set a time. So you can say, "I want this song to be at least 3 minutes long."

I met this girl, and she loves root beer like I do. I’m trying to court her a little, and I feel like a root beer variety pack would be a good icebreaker for that stage.

I want to surprise her with one, but I keep seeing mixed information. Some people are saying The Root Beer Store in Utah is not operating anymore, while others are saying the online store is still active.

The online store is there, but shipping is $31 for economy, plus $36 for the 12-pack itself.

Is there anywhere else I can get a better deal?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for the suggestions!!

Aline is a master of her art, so much so that she is the leader of the Painting Council. And the fact that she got away with it, or at least, we do not know the aftermath at the council for what she did, means that for all intents and purposes, she did.

So not only is she powerful, she is well respected, and it almost seems like she is feared.

While in the Canvas:

1. She was able to keep actual self aware creations alive.
2. She kept her husband trapped in the Monolith.
3. She indirectly erased her daughter's memory and had her reborn into a new family.
4. She was able to fight the team off while keeping the entire town alive, while also fighting the people she was trying to protect. She may have mentally broken, but she was still on autopilot for "the greater good."

"If saving you means losing you, so be it." Renoir says this to Verso, BUT

This works for Aline as well, toward her own creations.

ALL this. ALLLLLLLLLLL THIS. While Clea is draining her power at the same time. We have no idea if, as time went on, the deterioration would have accelerated because Clea was preventing the Chroma from going back. So Clea could have actually accelerated Aline's power diminishing, and 33 years left could have turned into 15, or 10 or 5 etc.

Then, even sick, even having paint sickness, she finds the Canvas and goes back in.

As a brief aside…

People theorize that Alicia hid Verso's Canvas inside her own. Since Aline did not really like it, and most likely only begrudgingly deemed it worthy for the board, her mother checking there would be the LAST place she would look. But that's exactly where she goes.

It is such a powerful moment because, by her mother finding her painting and coming to save her, Alicia finally forgave her.

Regardless, Aline goes back into the painting, makes an amazing badass entrance, gets her avatar back, and bitch slaps Sirène. She holds her off for the ENTIRE FIGHT. Obviously gameplay wise the fight could take minutes to seconds with some. In the actual Lore, who knows how long they were fighting Renoir for, before Aline came back in, that even Monoco was getting sick of it.

Now....

Imagine, with all of that gone, no power being drained from her, not supporting an entire town of self aware lives, and all things being equal. Her power would be INSANITY.

And here is another thing:

She created Verso to be immortal in the painting. That power gave him the ability to exist in the space between spaces in the painting.

"You're not supposed to be here."

That is what Alicia said to Painted Verso.

If Aline can do that, it IS POSSIBLE (in my opinion) she could bring one of her painted creations to actual life. I feel that it's just the NEXT logical step.

It is hinted at a little with Luné, and also with the Writers being able to actually write and affect the real world. Because the fire had to be something otherworldly for it to INSTANTLY trap Alicia. That always had me question how Alicia got trapped in that fire so fast, that her brother had to save her.

So in the movie, it is shown that Bi Han kills the family, right? Since they are frozen?

But in the original lore, he doesn’t kill them, correct? It was Quan Chi?

Bi Han is still shown to be a huge asshole, like in his original character?
