Hi zusammen,

mein Arbeitgeber hat die Regelung für Urlaubstage dieses Jahr geändert, und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das arbeitsrechtlich so zulässig ist.

Bisher war es so, dass man 25 Urlaubstage pro Jahr hatte und diese grundsätzlich über das Jahr hinweg nehmen konnte. Man musste den Urlaub natürlich vorher beantragen, und der Arbeitgeber hat dann geprüft, ob es vom Personalstand bzw. der Arbeitsauslastung her möglich ist (z. B. ob zu viele Mitarbeiter gleichzeitig auf Urlaub wären).

Seit diesem Jahr gilt anscheinend eine neue Regelung: Pro vollständig gearbeitetem Monat werden 2 Urlaubstage freigeschaltet. Das bedeutet z. B., dass man nach drei Monaten erst 6 Tage „freigeschaltet“ hat, nach sechs Monaten 12 Tage usw. Was ich daran etwas merkwürdig finde: Die Regelung gilt offenbar auch für Mitarbeiter die schon seit vielen Jahren im Unternehmen sind. Jemand der beispielsweise seit 10+ Jahren dort arbeitet hätte damit zu Jahresbeginn ebenfalls nur einen entsprechend kleinen Teil der 25 Tage zur Verfügung, obwohl das Dienstverhältnis schon lange besteht.

Ist so eine monatliche „Freischaltung“ der Urlaubstage nach österreichischem Arbeitsrecht zulässig? Oder erwirbt man den Anspruch auf den gesamten Jahresurlaub bereits zu Beginn des Urlaubsjahres bzw. gelten hier andere Regeln? Die Änderung wurde vom Arbeitgeber als neue interne Urlaubsregelung kommuniziert.

Wie würdet ihr in so einer Situation am besten vorgehen? Erst einmal schriftlich bei HR nachfragen (Ehefrau des Geschäftsführers lol), direkt die Arbeiterkammer kontaktieren?

I have an ongoing project with my little Cyan 121DB. In Europe these came with a B3 1.3i. In Japan these little cars came with a different gearbox (F-code, same as in the Mazda Demio / 121DW metro) and a B5 1.5 liter engine. This Demio gearbox is more or less a direct swap, and a B6 engine fits onto that gearbox. Now from what I recall is that a few of the B6 family engines have intakes that stick out further than the B3 currently in the car.

The B6D and B6T (and to some degree the Kia branded A6D) motors differ the least, making for easier swaps. The B6T I will leave for the 323 GTX guys. Those engines are rare enough.

Now the real question is, how to properly identify a B6D? It came in more than enough cars (MX-3's, 323's etc), I just wouldn't know how to identify one properly, and figured that the Mazda Reddit would know!

Looking at a second hand one right now with stamped motorcode B6 588118 (see included images). It comes out of an MX3, and could thus be either a B6-ME or a B6D. If anyone knows what to look for, please let me know!

This thing has had so many custom liveries already, but I sometimes go a bit crazy on the mods, the whole game breaks, have to reinstall. Ah, you know it. Hence why this thing's had many different liveries.

Really happy this mod exists though. Game already never got boring. With this addition it absolutely never will.

So glad they put this thing into the game. You don't see it that often in racing games. And even though I'm usually a big user/abuser of the extra decal/sticker mod, this one is an oldie from the times I didn't use any mods yet. Totally forgot I had it in my garage even.

I recently picked up a pair of Kaiser watch straps. 2mm thick, calfskin. Love that a lot more than the 4-5mm that seems to be the norm for straps I can find on AliExpress.

Same goofy smile. Same eyes. But it seems to be missing the convertible roof? Instead I have 2 extra doors..? Puzzling...

Or "after club/bar walking partner"? Who knows why these were ditched here. Feet hurt? Heel broke (on two pairs at once?). Thought it looked funny.

Not much else to say. A little work related trip to the Hillhead Expo 2026 in Buxton (Everything crusher/shredder/screener related in a stone quarry. 34C outside of the stone quarry, not sure how hot it was inside the stone quarry...).

Always bring my CSPro or one of the originals regardless of where I go and for what reason. Glad I did. Stayed in a sleepy village called Leek. These are the snaps I liked most.

Other than that since we moved all production to China and the rest of Asia 70 years ago, they produce 90% of electronic consumer goods and (spare) parts, if not more.

Just because no one thought to create some factories here, so we could produce stuff domestically, or no one deemed it 'valuable' to do so, we now have to pay the price again twofold. €3,- flat on each item, or in this case, a 1030% upmark from a retailer for the EXACT SAME CHINESE PRODUCT you can buy on AliExpress.

Always been incredibly interested in handbuilt pottery without wheels. I was born in what was called Coriovallum during the Roman era. Pottery and other archeologic finds aplenty. Never did any pottery however.

This is the first time I touched it in my life, and made a small bowl with a flat bottom. Started with a bottom, coiled it up and out, smoothed it a bit with a wooden rib, and that's it really.

And honestly, for the first time? I'm quite happy.

My CS-Pro with waist level viewfinder of course! Edit with some thing akin to AFGA Optima 100. Photos from the CS-Pro take that edit quite well.

Had a quick out and about with the CS Pro, an older glued (so hazy from the CA glue vapor...) waist level viewfinder with the wrong viewing angle (too narrow), and a 4X close up filter attached to the front for some shots.

It's something I genuinely enjoy and should try to use more often. Since the CampSnap is a fixed focus lens, making the background blurry / out of focus is impossible. Unless you use a filter like this one. Gives some rather pleasant results.

I've had this thing for a good 1,5 years now. As you see, 3 different straps so far. A black leather, blue suede and red suede.

I've bit the bullet and got two more. The 1108 with the black dial, and the sun and moon tank.

I'd like to see everyone's Sanda to see what other strap / bracelet options I haven't thought of.

Hello Machinist community.

Currently in the process of building a machine that contains a cross-slide (185x100, small thing). Thing is, it doesn't have dovetail grooves, but something that looks more like T-nut grooves in M8 / M10.

All toolposts I've seen so far (like Multifix) use the central toolpost stud which wouldn't fit on the type of cast cross slide of this size that I have in mind.

Issue here is is that I have experience working with lathes, just not with building them.

Are there toolposts / quick swap toolposts that simply use M8 / M10 bolts and T-nuts to attach to a cross slide?
