One of the first tattoos I did on a human during my apprenticeship in 2019, on my then-70 year old dad. Quote it!

Q: What has 83 layers and so many colours I gave up counting them? A: The latest take on Warhol's Marilyn Monroe 1967! Matched colour for colour and value for value. (Procreate)

Pan's Labyrinth Faun wall decoration I made for Doug Jones a few years ago. Porcupine quills on birchbark with buckskin trim. Bark and quills also harvested (and quills dyed) by me

Medallion I made for a friend who lost her husband last year. The fox was his protector. The heard at the bottom is a custom piece I made and contains some of his hair and ashes.

How to stop retaliatory swatting to behaviour correction?

Me and my husband just adopted a new cat 2 days ago after losing our 19 year old cat in November. Our last cat was a dream cat. Zero behaviour issues, very calm and even temperament even from a young age and I trusted her completely. Our new cat is just over a year old and very sweet and affectionate, however we have noticed that sometimes (not all the time) she will swat back at us if we correct misbehaviour.

We have caught her trying to chew cords and scratch furniture. Our way of correcting it, which worked with our old cat, is to firmly say "no",and if that doesn't make her stop, then we gently physically move her away from the object. Sometimes when we say no, she will listen, and we will immediately praise her verbally and with pets. But when we have to physically redirect her, she will sometimes turn around and angrily swat or grab our leg and give a quick bite. She has not hurt us beyond light scratches, but I do not like the retaliation and I don't want it to continue. Is this something she will grow out of or maybe just because she is new and learning, or is there something different we should be doing now to stop it?

I'm remaking some classic memes to feature everyone's favourite cambion instead of the original subjects. Feel free to use this template to construct your own Hellboy memes!

Some of the Hellboy related watercolour paintings I've done. I'm getting close to being 50 and my dream is to be able to do one cover for a Hellboy or other Mignolaverse title before I croak
