Blancmange are an English synth-pop band formed in Harrow, London in 1979, and a two-piece for much of its existence, composed of Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe. It came to prominence in the early 1980s, releasing four UK top-20 singles: "Living on the Ceiling", "Waves", "Blind Vision" and "Don't Tell Me"

This wonderful sculpture is named "Glasgow Salad". It is a giant Scottish Terrier statue designed by artist Emma Mary "Barnie" Barnie as part of the public art trail Scotties in the City.
