besides Bethesda games, DA and Mass Effect, BG, Monster Hunter, and Fromsoft's souls games, can you recommend me some games where i can customise and create my own character?
Other than these franchises I know of Hogwarts Legacy, Tainted Grail, Avowed (basically most of obsidian's games) Dragons Dogma, Cyberpunk, Nioh.

PLEASE Devs, we r not asking for DA VG or SIMS level of CC, how hard can it be to give us a few options? its fine if there are no sliders and ability to mold contours like Fallout 4, even 5 options per feature would be good enough at this point, come on, how hard can it be?
we could compromise! give us a complete cc, but no one is asking for a 100 selections and complete control over contouring.
I am a bit surprised but not disappointed they chose to include a Gaunt and a original new slytherin family (Sallow) for the game, instead of a Malfoy. If you gave your character the surname Malfoy, what was your headcannon/ personal lore for your character? the malfoys are an old wealthy family. i dont read any hp stuff outside the books so i have no clue when their kin started being as influential as they are in the wizarding world, i just know they came with a muggle king or something to a new land to colonise and that was how they earned their cash...sorry if i am mixing this up.
i named my character malfoy and my headcannon is that he is a bastard child.
i wouldnt consider skyrim as one of my all time goats, but only because of the combat, otherwise, the world, characters, quests just grows and grows on you.
i havent 100%-ed the game so no spoilers please, but from what i have played, esp the dark brotherhood questline, man, this game is so special imo. when you had to disguise yourself as a chef and then send the soup to the king...PEAK gaming exp , PEAK gaming memory lol.
also the daedric quests..ive done only 2 so far, but holy, its so damn COOL.
ive played my fair share of fantasy rpgs, but i can totes see why skyrim holds a special place in many gamers' hearts. it has a real charm to it that imo, isnt the same as other jugglenauts such as the witcher 3. i personally liked skyrim better!
im considering getting oblivion remastered, if the quests, storylines and writing are better than skyrim, that'll seal the deal for me and i'll buy it. what is your opinion? and what makes it better (or doesn't) for you?
Long story short, ive been playing ME:LE for 3 months straight almost daily and got super burnout. decided to run one last mission, which was N7 Fuel reactors (ME3 side mission), before i take a break from video games, cause its what i do, i usually take a two- month break, play again for 3 months and so on.
so, keep in mind i was super burnout, and this mission in particular isnt like the rest, it's basically half safe space and half combat field. I don't know how else to explain the situation but i have to because i think it might be something to do with why my incendiary ammo kept being turned off on its own.
Basically, the mission setting is a place where a group of Alliance workers are working, and you have to turn off some kinda radiator that is radiating toxins in the air, and then there are a few fight sequences with the collectors/reapers. so for the whole mission, youre in friendly zone while also being in combat zone if this makes sense? think of it as being within half citadel and half normal questing locale? youtube it if you dont know what i mean, its a super short mission.
and there are cut scenes between each fighting section of the quest...so here's where it gets weird, my incendiary ammo kept getting turned off automatically. i did have liara in my squad team, usually i have javik and garrus, but i never buy squad-wide ammo power ups so it cant be that.
my incendiary ammo kept being turned off, and i dont think it ever got activated too, i don't know, didnt really notice because this has never happened before. all i know was i had to turn it on multiple times. i never change guns and gun modification parts too, been using the cerb harrier ever since i got it like 6 missions ago.
is this a glitch or is it because of how the mission is structured--half safe space, cutscenes in between every fight? i googled and couldn't find anyone reporting the same issue, i must be imagining it...it could also be that i was very, very burnout. when i am burnout on video games i am literally forced to quit, i wont be able to play for sh*t, like this instance, ME, i couldnt aim right and nearly died so many times...luckily i had god garrus. when im burnout i literally lose my ability to game lol. last burnout was on skyrim...i started the game, almost puked and had to quit. anyway, i dont think i was imagining things besides sucking at aiming my shots...i know for a fact my incendiary ammo kept turning off on its own. Anyone here ever heard of or experienced this for yourselves? I'd play another mission just to check but i am still super burnout and i dont want to put myself through that lol.

I thought Hogwarts was a game that didnt utilise PC for save files, but when I googled apparently everyone has a save file or save location on their PC. I checked everywhere and there are no save files on my rig, all of it is in Steam Cloud.
When I start up the game it has no issue such as corrupted or missing files, when I sign into steam on another computer with HL installed, my saves are all there thanks to steam cloud, but why are there no save files on my PC? Apparently others have theirs there?
Honestly, Im not gonna bore you with my sob story...i dont even want to think of all the times i got bullied by professionals, my own parents, and generally people alike...just know that i just got diagnosed by a professional after 6-8 sessions.
to people who have been diagnosed a long time ago, what are the most helpful tips, tricks and advice you have experienced that really help you?
i have no issue with academia, just graduated, but right now it is so hard to find a job with a neurodivergent brain. people hate the way i process information (slow, need repeated reminders, not 'getting' the gist of what my superiors want, trouble processing information espcially when having to think outside of the box, connecting dots) and i've been sacked from basically every job because of this. i stim a lot and people get weirded out by me because of it.
im going to study for a masters soon, something creative, which i hope will help me find more career paths that are better suited for me.
but daily, since birth, its been a drag getting out of bed and starting my day. i now know its because of my autism.
im resuming behavorial classes but i only get them once a month, and theyre very expensive...it would help so much if you guys could share some tips here with me.

I didnt destroy Maelon's data, Wrex is alive not Wreav, Eve is also alive. I havent reached Priority: Tuchanka. I was wondering if there is a way to make sure both of them survive? I've googled and can't find how to save them both if Wrex, Eve, and Maelon's data all survive/ exist.
I finished ME2 last month and wanted to start ME3 right away but after the first 10 missions or so i ended up taking a 2 week break. was kind of burnout and idk why. does anyone do this too? If I were ten years younger I'd blast through the games within a month lol. im 30 this year and really feeling my age in loads of activities i used to never tire of or burnout from.

I havent played ME1 yet, i will after ME2 and 3.
In ME2, playing on normal, I think I only died around 3 times during the course of the whole game.
In ME3 (also on normal) I'm not even a third through and I already died twice, once on Grissom Academy and another during Priority Eden Prime. I did hear these 2 are among the harder missions in ME3 but i can't help but feel a bit assed. I hate dying in video games, especially if i am playing on normal which i am.
The funny thing is for Grissom Academy I didnt have issues at all during the Atrium fight. it was the fight where you first meet Jack where I died. The Atlas came up to me so quick and plus the soldiers flanking me from both sides I really got wasted.
I'm playing Vanguard btw. I dunno why most people say Me3 is easier than ME2 because I disagree. in ME3 the waves of enemies nearly feel unlimited, plus the smoke grenades they throw and the normal grenades and how almost every level the enemies flank you from both sides, its just not as easy as ME2 imo.
I hardly do this in a game ever, but the world of HL is so calming and relaxing. i know its not exactly filled to the brim with things to do like other open worlds but maybe some people like me prefer it this way. maybe we just want to see gorgeous landscapes without accumulating a backlog of side quests.
In 2013, i was having a pretty bad time. i was going through mild bullying and i had untreated adhd.
Then i met a woman through my father, she was his friend's daughter, and the first time i met her and saw her face, i felt as if i was at the center of the universe. i started getting 'downloads' that the universe's spiritual side was real, God was real, Jesus was real and loved us. i started seeing lots of lifetimes with me and her together, and when i asked Jesus what it was he said that my soul was remembering and intuitive feeling that this woman was my 'twin soul'.
I started feeling outside of my body, like i was in all timelines at once. it was a huge, deep peaceful feeling. i had scoliosis and the curve corrected itself almost completely (I have X-rays to prove this). I started seeing spirits, and then after a while everything died down.
now more than ten years later whenever i see her picture or chat with her (online, she is not living in the country i am) i still get that deja vu sometimes.
my question is, how would you interpret my experience? do u think it was just mental illness because of prolonged bullying and my adhd or was it a real spiritual awakening, and does it sound like twin flames to you (or something else)?
i never ever told her of my feelings for her btw, and it has faded already by now. we have just remained friends to this day
the steam summer sale is on the way and i just lost my job. i have savings and I guess 40 dollars wont set me back that much, but my issue is more that i have a ton of games i havent played. i have this pos issue where i have a ton of games in my library and i dont wanna play any..i just want to play something i dont have lol.
i play a game for 40 hours and i get bored as hell. almost all my games are played to 80% completion then i jump into the next game. i realise i have to alternate between fantasy and scifi settings or else i wont feel like playing anything. i just bought a shit ton of sci fi games so im thinking of getting one or two fantasy games from the summer sale, and stop at 2 new games max. then im planning to only buy new games after finishing at least 2 of what i have already bought right now.
How do you guys be disciplined and finish the games you have before buying new ones?

i play as paragon, and i want the paragon ending. i know i need to meet the convo check for both the quarian and geth conflict and the final confrontation with the illusive man. if i pick all the renegade options so that Aria kisses my Shep at the end of the omega DLC, will this small portion of renagade choices affect me too much that i wont be able to pass these 2 convo checks?
alternatively, should i not make my shep act outta character and just do a renegade playthrough? im playing femshep tho, my renegade will be a broshep and i heard that Aria isnt very into the ksis if youre playing as broshep

Not so much the supernatural part or the hate group part, but the focus on someone super down on their luck. Every minute hooked me in because the MC was written so well. His situation alone was enough to keep me interested, but the pacing and the acting, everything was on point. Are there any similar movies or series with someone (preferably a young man, but this isnt a must) very down on their luck and has to go through scenes and scenes of people shitting on them ? Nick goes through his boss firing him, his teacher, instead of showing concern, calls the cops on him, and the opening scene where he cant afford meds for his disabled mother.
So my femshep romances liara in me1, then thane the dying man in me2 and in me3 after thane dies she gets back with liara immediately. i understand its just a game but if irl someone did that i think they wouldnt have many good friends left. for one i certainly wouldnt continue being friends with such a person. it makes it seem that femshep takes liara for granted...and liara is such a soft-spoken sweetheart i feel so bad about it.
