Customers in SoCal can place orders but dashers using Verizon are dead in the water. Verizon USED to be the best nationwide service provider but as of this morning there have been multiple fiber optic cuts being labeled as vandalism. I dash in the San Fernando Valley and I can’t even start my scheduled dash. Welp…… there goes my $150 Sunday. Those of you that use Verizon’s competitors should get out there. Should be a very busy day for you 😉

I usually delete and reinstall the app every few days and I always just skip the personalized offers primarily because data collection just pisses me off. I’m just wondering if anybody actually has it enabled? I’ve never found it to make any difference myself.
I have been buying the Simply Nature ALDI 85/15 organic ground beef since 2020. I usually keep a few pounds in my freezer at all times but in the last month or so I have seen a very noticeable higher amount of FAT in the product. It is much lighter in the package and the amount of fat left over in the frying pan has increased dramatically. It is my honest belief that simply nature is trying to pull a fast one on the consumers. Look at the picture compared to the other 85/15 on their shelf 🧐
Does anybody know of a cheap dermatologist in the SFV that will accept payments. I have a very suspicious spot on my face that friends and family are telling me it looks like a type of skin cancer. I don’t have a job right now other than my gig work (deliveries) and zero health insurance.
Got some thick cut hickory smoked bacon at ALDI and decided to try my luck at candied bacon. I only put the brown sugar and light cracked black pepper on one side. Didn’t want to over do it. 400f for 12 min. Even though I had my convection fan turned on I probably should have rotated the pan half way through to get a more even crisping but I must say….. it was very yummy 😋
Last week this was $150 ….. now look at it 😂 I’m pretty sure a lot of dashers have either gave up due to rising gas prices or quit because of crap offers. I’m in Los Angeles and we even get prop22 pay adjustments as well. I REALLY hope that all dashers nationwide take note though that you should Never….. EVER …..fall into the referral trap. Essentially all you are doing is creating more competition for yourself. Always keep in mind that historically….. gig companies have never done anything beneficial for their worker bees. They just wrap their promos in verbiage to make them sound great. Maybe this is why I couldn’t even park my car yesterday before I got another offer. Stay safe out there folks and please don’t refer anybody because you will only be giving up more money in the long run.
