A Note About Misophonia Resources

Misophonia research is still developing, and there is no single coping strategy or intervention that works for everyone. Educational resources and peer support can be valuable, but they are not substitutes for individualized professional care when that is needed.

Peer support groups are not psychotherapy, and clinical assessment tools should be used appropriately.

This list is intended to help people find free information and support, not to endorse any particular treatment approach or organization.

If you know of other reputable organizations offering genuinely free misophonia resources, support groups, educational materials, or research information, please share them in the comments so the list can continue to grow.

Is this subreddit just vibecoding trash now? Frustrated User.

I've liked the community over the time I'm here but really I think we need to ban vibe coded plugins as they're ripe with issues, and taking up the entire homepage. Why am I being flooded with everybody's idea of a customization multiple times a day? I know this is reddit and it's not that deep, but I'd much rather posts about plugins that aren't just some half baked idea made by Claude or GPT.

I almost died laughing, Michelle McDaniel referred to CC as "a smaller creator" in her Disney Adult video and I can just feel Chelsea's rage from here.

I've basically been boycotting CC for a year now. Not for any reason other than she's absolutely insane and I can't take it anymore... but anyways, I bet our clout diva took "smaller creator" to heart.

Something hilarious I just thought of as a Canadian who grew up around MLMs...

So I grew up in a small area in Canada where there really aren't a lot of people. Back in the 90s-2000s before Amazon got huge, there was also not a lot of stuff people could buy locally, so MLMs were popular with housewives. Think Avon, Tupperware, and later on things like Epicure and Norwex. Anyways, I only knew ONE rep for each mlm, and they were SUPER TERRITORIAL of everything they did. In small area life, there would be one person known for one mlm, and each one was very protective of it. This, to me in hindsight is absolutely hilarious because all of them were pretty bad at the MLM model of recruiting. Like ALL OF THEM. Also, the people for the area tended to never want to 'walk on toes' so there'd rarely ever be a new recruit.

This memory is killing me because... I think the mlm model failed Canadian niceness in our area.

Does anybody else use this cheat to get full health? It's the only way I can play, lol!

Basically open the cheat menu, do move_objects on
SAVE THE GAME OR YOU WILL LOSE ANY NEW FRIENDSHIPS OR SKILL POINTS.
Go build or buy and delete your sim.

Click on them then they will be renewed. Time also goes super fast so it can be great to just wait to click them before morning.

I remember these from like 2003 so I have no exact idea where I got them. Any ideas?

Hello,

Thank you for your report.

The issue is already being investigated by our security team.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Warm regards,

Denis S.

WPX Support

Please note, we normally do not allow discussion of Pleasantsims due to controversies but we have opened THIS post to warn people about malware.

IF YOU DID DOWNLOAD RECENTLY IMMEDIATELY TREAT YOUR COMPUTER AS INFECTED:

Caveat: It is likely that you do not have a computer infection, but please perform antivirus checks just in case. We do not know the extent of the malware/malicious injections. Do not panic, simply do a scan and check. If something is found, remove.

Removing malware from a Windows PC requires isolating the system before using security tools to hunt down the infection. Following these steps in order is critical to prevent the malware from hiding or fighting back.

1 Disconnect from the Internet

Prevents the malware from communicating

Unplug your Ethernet cable or turn off your Wi-Fi immediately. This severs the connection to the attacker's server, stopping the malware from downloading additional malicious payloads, spreading to other devices on your network, or transmitting your personal data.

2 Boot into Safe Mode

Safe Mode loads only the bare minimum drivers and programs Windows needs to run. If the malware is set to launch automatically on startup, Safe Mode will usually prevent it from activating, making it easier to delete.

  • Windows 10/11: Hold the Shift key while clicking Power > Restart from the Start menu.
  • When the screen reloads, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • After your PC reboots, press 4 or F4 on your keyboard to enter Safe Mode.

3 Delete Temporary Files

Malware often hides inside temporary system folders. Deleting these files can sometimes eliminate the virus entirely, and it will significantly speed up your antivirus scan. Search for Disk Cleanup in the Windows Start menu, select your main drive, check the box for Temporary files, and click OK.

4 Run a Full Antivirus Scan

You can use a reputable third-party scanner like Malwarebytes, or the built-in Windows Security tool. Because you are disconnected from the internet, you will be using your current virus definitions.

  1. Open the Start menu and search for Windows Security.
  2. Click Virus & threat protection.
  3. Click Scan options (located right below the Quick scan button).
  4. Select Full scan and click Scan now.

5 Quarantine and Reboot

If your security software detects malicious files, follow its prompts to Quarantine or Delete them. Once the software indicates your system is clean, restart your computer normally to exit Safe Mode. If your PC operates smoothly and no strange pop-ups appear, the infection is likely gone.

6 Change Your Passwords

Crucial post-cleanup measure

Malware often includes keyloggers designed to capture your keystrokes. Now that your system is secure, change the passwords for your email, banking, and main social media accounts, as your old credentials may have been stolen.

If the malware persists after a normal boot, you may need to run a Microsoft Defender Offline scan (found in the same Scan options menu), which restarts your PC and hunts for threats before Windows even loads.

Is there any movement on multi-room music for Alexa? I feel like Spotify is getting worse and worse.

I'm finding that Spotify is allowing AI and getting more annoying and I'm finding other music options are basically just as bad (apple, amazon, etc,). I know we've been told constantly it's being worked on but what is the bottleneck? Is there any possibility of more collaboration? I feel like at this point this is desperately needed.
