I missed someones comment saying ed has said he would be a warthog! Ill have to draw that at a later date but I just caught up with the latest episodes drawing these. Marcus as a scruffy dog, Henry is a little bat (or goat but i like the bat) and Ed is a gator (plus the earlier drawing I did of him as a sea lion)
I thought trying to draw them as furries would be funny. I'm not a furry artist! Just posting for fun. Marcus is a scruffy dog bc duh, Henry is a little bat or a goat, but I'm not sure about Ed! I thought orca but that's just his fav animal. Also idk how to personify a marine mammal like an orca. So I did a sea lion instead but I could be swayed to draw them all as something else! Lmk! Im curious what people think. Ill post again if i get enough ideas.
It rained half way thru so i had to go inside for a bit but i think i finished it for the most part
So, I'm doing pretty well, pretty proud of my run so far. And I get to the Hag. I'm prepared I think. I've done this twice in tactician mode I think. I can do this, I think. I get her down to like 10 health and she freaking casts hold person on my whole PARTY. THE WHOLE PARTY.
Anyway. I think I'll take a break from starting another honor run for a little while. Finish this one in tactician. I was just so proud of my Tav build and I had such a solid party.
I'm just so annoyed because I was doing so well! How should I get around this the next time? Do you HAVE to kill all the doubles before attacking the real Ethel? That seems so impossible. Is there a way to counter hold person? like, if I were to cast protection from evil and good would that help? Because I did do that, just by the time she cast hold person on the whole damn party all of them had lost concentration on the spell.
Not my best work but painting animals in motion is hard! I might still work on both of these.
Im trying to get back into plein air oil painting by observing the birds next door. (They built a nest on the abandoned home across the street) but im getting frustrated trying to stay loose but still add enough detail to make them seem realistic and 3d.
How should I keep going so that the bird and her feathers stand out from the nest? How does one paint white feathers realistically and not get stuck in the tiny shadows and details?
Any advice is appreciated!
Help! I've just been picking them out but how do you all deal with bugs while painting?! Especially at dusk they're always getting stuck and I want to use all the sunlight time I can to finish a painting. Pallet knife?? A bug specific tweezers?! They're driving me crazy!
I had to stop for the day because of the sun and loss of my shade coverage. But I know where she lives so I imagine I can keep painting tomorrow.
An osprey family built their nest on my neighbor's abandoned house so I figured I would take advantage of their proximity and try my hand at some plein air painting. If it comes out good ill post the final painting later!
I'm set up in a beach chair just painting on my lap, I was using my sister's easle in the past but I recently had to give it back :(
I'm less thrilled with this one but I had fun making it none the less.
I finally found a way this piece can fit in with the others I made. Though, I can't figure out which bottom hands I like better.
The figures are supposed to be a series on chronic pain and I feel like most of them are missing something. I also don't love the arms on the first one and can't decide how to fix it. I would also love any advice on working with vector art, whether it's a personal trick or something that could advance my pieces.
Please crit any or all of these! I need my peer's eyes! (sometimes I miss school for only this reason lol)
I don't know how the last one fits in with these figures I've been doing but I still had fun making it. I don't love Anxiety (the first one) and am open to criticism or any thoughts!
I posted the other two earlier in the week, but I made a third weird pain persona. Constructive criticism is always welcome! I really did these mostly for catharsis but I'd be interested in making something of them in the future I just don't know what.
I've got migraines and degenerative spinal disease in my neck at age 30 and sometimes it can feel like this
Do I need to use an older controller? Has anyone had this issue with steam games on pc?
I have a nintendo switch bluetooth controller that usually works with my steam games. But I recently downloaded the original assassin's creed to play since Ive never owned it or finished the whole thing.
And the game just won't recognize the controller even though it is connected through steam. The game is playable with a mouse but I am vastly uncoordinated and prefer controllers when possible.
Im wondering if an older xbox or Playstation controller would work instead?
Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
