Taken right before he pooed on us…

I didn’t think it odd until recently, when I have been seeing many images of people’s snakes with a “arrowhead” kind of pattern or no pattern at all. I have not seen many pictures of corns with this sort of “dappled” or “cobblestone” pattern. I just want to know if it is normal/common or not, or specific to a morph etc.
