have become the person measuring trunk lips in a Polestar, AMA
This is embarrassing but I think cargo mats are one of those things nobody cares about until they buy the wrong one. I wanted something clean, not giant truck energy, not slippery, not weird smelling, not so thick that the floor panel becomes annoying to lift. Simple, right? Apparently no. The first mat slid around. The second one looked fine but had almost no raised edge, so one leaking drink basically defeated the entire concept. The third one is the one I kept because it has enough structure to catch small spills, still lets the underfloor storage open, and does not make the trunk look like a contractor van. For anyone using a Polestar as an actual daily, especially with groceries, I think the boring details matter more than people admit. Everyone debates range and wheels and software bugs, fair, but the stuff you touch every week is what decides whether the car feels easy or mildly annoying. So yeah, my current vote for best cargo upgrade is a fitted trunk mat and I hate that this is where adulthood has taken me. What tiny practical mod made your Polestar better than expected?
Any other women here on the shorter/petite side who’ve actually found an ergonomic chair that fits properly long term?
I work from home and spend around 10-12 hours daily at my desk, so chair comfort has started making a huge difference in my back/shoulders lately. I’m 5ft and most chairs I try feel way too oversized for smaller frames. Seat depth is usually too long, armrests too wide and I end up constantly adjusting my posture just to sit comfortably. I previously used the MUSSO E80 for a while and it was one of the few chairs that felt reasonably comfortable, so now I’m trying to find something with a similar or better fit. Mainly looking for:
- good fit for petite users
- comfortable
- adjustable seat depth/armrests
- decent lumbar support
Would really love recommendations from other women(petite) in tech who’ve dealt with the same issue.
what ergonomic chair actually helped your posture long term , especially as a petite woman?
I’m a petite woman (around 5ft) and struggling to find an ergonomic chair that actually fits properly and helps posture instead of making it worse over time. Most ergonomic chairs I’ve tried feel oversized for smaller frames , the seat depth is too long and my feet don’t sit flat comfortably.
I spend long hours at my desk daily, so I’m trying to find something supportive enough for extended sitting without causing back or shoulder pain later on. I previously used the MUSSO E80 and it was honestly one of the few chairs that felt reasonably comfortable for my height, especially compared to most gaming/office chairs I’ve tried. are there other petite-friendly ergonomic chairs people here would recommend for posture support long term? Please help

One veneer should I fly overseas or just go local lol ?

Hey,
Just got back from two years in China. Teeth are mostly fine. Just one tooth that's a bit crooked and a tiny gap that annoys me. Probably just one veneer or some bonding. Nothing big.
I know some people check out dentist options overseas like in Thailand. The cost for a trip sounds okay. But then you have to add flights, accommodation, time off work.
While I was in Zhuhai I went to a place called Vickong . Just a clean. They fixed a small chip. It was fine. Nothing special. Honestly the whole for and against overseas dental work does my head in a bit.
Anyway now I'm back in New Zealand. Trying to decide if I should just pay local or fly back to Asia for this. Local quote was kinda high. But flying somewhere just for one veneer also feels a bit much. There's a Dental there but I don't even know if I'd go back just for this.
Has anyone actually done this? Like after flights and accommodation, is it even cheaper? Or should I just find someone here and get it done.
Can’t sleep with upstairs neighbor stomping at night any tips?
I live in an apartment with pretty thin floors, and my upstairs neighbor’s loud footsteps are keeping me awake all night. They walk around at all hours, usually late at night, and it feels like there’s a constant pounding above me. I’ve tried earplugs, but they don’t seem to block out the noise enough, and I’m really struggling to get restful sleep. I’ve heard about things like soundproofing or adding rugs to dampen the noise, but I’m not sure how effective those would be. White noise might help, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to mask the sound of heavy footsteps and moving furniture. I’m starting to wonder if sleep earbuds or ANC headphones could be a better solution. Has anyone tried these for apartment noise? I like the idea of something I can take with me if I move, so I wouldn’t have to invest in soundproofing or décor solutions that might not work long-term. Any recommendations on specific brands or models that have worked for you?
I’m desperate for some tips or product suggestions that might actually help me sleep through the noise. If you've had success with sleep earbuds or ANC headphones, I’d love to hear what worked for you!
any other petite women struggling with ergonomic chairs?
I’m 4’9 and I feel like every ergonomic chair I try was made for someone way taller than me lol. I’ll adjust everything people recommend and it still somehow feels wrong. Either my feet barely touch the floor, the seat feels too deep, or the lumbar support hits me in the most random spot.
I work from home so I spend a lot of time at my desk, and lately I’ve noticed I keep leaving my chair after like 2 hours because I can’t get comfortable. At this point my setup includes a pillow behind my back and another one under my feet.
someone suggested the musso e80 muse in a few other threads, mostly because it’s supposed to fit smaller frames better and now I’m wondering if chair sizing actually matters way more than I thought.
Has anyone around my height actually used this chair before? I genuinely can’t tell if I should invest in a proper ergonomic chair or if I’m just overthinking this whole thing
The Best IPTV USA Service in USA, Canada, and the UK – 4K IPTV, International Channels, and Movies
Customer support was one of the main reasons I decided to stick with IPTV US – iptvus4k [.] com instead of constantly switching between IPTV providers. Most IPTV USA services focus on attracting new users, but once you pay, support often disappears. I’ve personally tested multiple IPTV USA subscriptions, and many of them suffer from inactive chats, slow replies, or providers disappearing after a few weeks.
With IPTV USA – iptvus4k .com the experience felt completely different from the start.
The support team behind IPTV USA – iptvus4k is responsive, knowledgeable, and understands IPTV systems, apps, and streaming devices. During my setup, I had questions about installing IPTV USA on Smart TVs, Android TV, and Amazon Firestick. Instead of generic replies, they provided clear step-by-step guidance.
I tested IPTV USA on several apps including Flix IPTV, IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, XCIPTV, SmartOne IPTV, and IBO Player Pro. Whenever I needed help with Xtream Codes, M3U playlists, or IPTV USA activation, IPTV USA – iptvus4k responded quickly and efficiently.
Another major advantage of iptvus4k .com is device compatibility. Unlike many IPTV USA providers that only support Android devices, this service works across Samsung Smart TVs, LG TVs, NVIDIA Shield, Fire TV, Android boxes, iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and Mac devices.
What really stood out was their availability during major IPTV USA live events. During UFC fights, football finals, NBA playoffs, and Pay-Per-View events—when most IPTV USA services go offline iptvus4k remained active and continued assisting users.
They are also transparent when troubleshooting. Instead of immediately blaming your internet, the iptvus4k team investigates issues related to VPN, DNS, app configuration, device compatibility, or connection stability.
This is especially helpful for beginners using IPTV USA.
New users often don’t understand M3U links, Xtream Codes API, EPG setup, or buffering optimization. With IPTV USA – iptvus4k, the support makes everything easier and more user-friendly.
Another strong point is professionalism. The communication from IPTV USA – iptvus4k feels human and helpful—not robotic. Even simple questions are answered with patience, which is rare in the IPTV USA market today.
Over time, I realized that good IPTV USA support is just as important as streaming quality. Even the best IPTV USA service may require help during setup or updates. Knowing that IPTV USA – iptvus4k is there builds real trust.
After testing many IPTV USA providers in the USA and Canada, I can confidently say that IPTV USA – iptvus4k offers one of the most reliable experiences in 2026. With stable streaming, premium sports, international channels, wide device compatibility, and excellent support, it stands out among IPTV USA services.
It’s no surprise that more users are now recommending IPTV USA – iptvus4k after dealing with unreliable IPTV USA providers that fail to deliver long-term quality and support.
Petite women of this subreddit, what ergonomic chair actually worked for you?
I’m 4’11 and I swear every ergonomic chair I’ve tried somehow makes me feel less ergonomic lol. either my feet don’t touch the floor properly the seat is too deep or the lumbar support hits completely wrong. I’ve literally been sitting with a pillow behind my back and another under my feet just to make my current chair tolerable during work hours.
recently I saw the MUSSO E80 Muse here on this subreddit and it actually caught my attention because it seems more designed for women and smaller frames instead of the usual oversized office chairs. but I can’t tell if it’s genuinely comfortable long-term or if I’m just being influenced by good marketing at this point lol.
Would love to hear from other petite women here , what ergonomic chair are you using for your home office, and do you actually feel comfortable sitting in it for hours?
Sensory overload at night makes it difficult to fall asleep, especially with persistent background noise. Using earplugs and a white noise machine has helped in some situations, but they don’t completely block out all the noise. The earplugs feel uncomfortable after a while, and sometimes I’m still aware of background sounds. Recently, the idea of switching to sleep earbuds seems appealing, but concerns about the cost come to mind. It seems like sleep earbuds would be more effective than earplugs and a white noise machine, but I’m unsure whether it’s worth spending the money. Is it a good investment, or are there other methods that work just as well? Earplugs plus white noise have been somewhat helpful, but it still feels like something is missing.Has anyone here tried both? Which method, in terms of both cost and effectiveness, provides better results for managing noise and improving sleep quality? I’m looking for the most affordable option that offers real improvement without breaking the bank.
Most superhero movies are about these perfect, cool people saving the day, but eddie brock is just a guy whose life is a constant train wreck lol. even at the end of the trilogy, he’s still just a dude in a weird shirt trying his best. it made the movies feel way more grounded and funny than the typical mcu stuff. i really hope if they reboot it they don't make him too "cool." who else related to eddie just being a total mess 24/7?
i’ve watched let there be carnage like five times and i’m still trying to figure out the timeline for mulligan becoming toxin. the last dance just kind of glosses over how he even survived the end of movie 2. i love the character design but i wish they explained his powers a bit more because he seemed way different than venom or carnage. did i miss a dialogue scene or is it just a massive plot hole lol?
I live somewhere summer hits 95F+ on the regular. Spent years looking like a sweaty mess. Figured some stuff out.
Fabric matters more than style. I used to grab cute polyester dresses and wonder why I was dying by noon. Switched to cotton, linen, and flowy rayon blends. Light colors help too, but fabric is the real MVP.
Loose shapes are your friend. Tight clothes trap heat. A-line dresses, wide-leg pants, boxy tops. You still look styled, air can actually move around you.
The right underwear. Seamless, breathable stuff and thin cotton bralettes instead of padded bras. Sounds tiny, but it makes a huge difference.
My affordable find: Been ordering summer pieces from shein this year and honestly surprised by the quality for the price. Their summer essentials section has breathable cotton dresses and loose tops that look like they cost way more. The linen-blend items are my favorite. Washed them a bunch, held up fine.
Not perfect though. Shipping takes 1-2 weeks, so plan ahead. Sizing can be hit or miss. Always check the size chart and reviews with photos.
Full disclosure: I have been shopping on shein for a few seasons now. Not sponsored, just genuinely found good affordable summer basics there.
What are your go-to summer survival tricks?
With technology fully entering the World Cup, the semi-automated offside system uses AI to capture players' positions and draw offside lines in real time, far more accurately than human referees. Many long-time fans feel football has always been full of on-field controversies, unpredictable calls and human elements. Cold, error-free technology removes the excitement of classic disputed moments and legendary storylines, slowly fading football’s sentiment and uncertainty.
Do you prefer accurate AI refereeing, or keeping a little human unpredictability in football?
I am curious what everyone thinks about the requirements for exchange anniversary promos and events lately. they almost always need massive trading volume or make you jump through a bunch of social media hoops.
usually I just skip them entirely. Having to post on your feed with specific hashtags and chase engagement numbers just for a tiny bonus feels like a cheap way to farm user-generated content. I know some people just use AI to write the posts and get friends to like them, but it makes me question the real intent behind the promotions. it really doesn't seem like these platforms are genuinely trying to reward their active users.
Do you guys actually bother participating in these events?
My husband, Dave, is the king of "if it holds a lamp, it is fine." Left to his own devices, he would probably use a cardboard box or an ugly metal filing cabinet next to the bed. I, on the other hand, wanted something soft, textured, and calming to match our paneled walls.
We fought about this for weeks until I just secretly ordered this fluted wood nightstand. He grumbled about it being too fancy until he realized how deep the two drawers were for all his charging cables and books. Now, he tells our friends that he picked it out because it matches the curtains so well. Do you guys let your partners pick the furniture, or do you take charge?
