I like the original better because the instrumental is emotional than the vip mix.
Many NCS producers that are popular online like Tobu, TheFatRat, Elektronomia, Jim Yosef, Electro-Light, Lost Sky, Unknown Brain, etc are irrelevant on the festival scene (because they doesn't perform or stop performing).
Outside of NCS, there also Axel Johansson. he very popular at alan walker fanbase, but it's seems like he don't do concerts.
I would say Swans. i heard first about them on RYM (i'm a Gen Z guy) and i thought this band was RYM-core, but apparently, they are not RYM-core. They were been around a long time and were pretty huge before RYM was created in 2000. they have many Gen X and Boomers fans
I also believed Ninajirachi was rym-core, but i learned that recently, she exploded in popularity in her native country Australia and she get more and more popular on the EDM scene in North America.
I search especially for artists that many people believe they are popular only on the internet when they have actual popularity offline.
