Frangible ammo?
Need some Frangible 9mm for a handgun class this evening and not too familiar with it. Anyone know where I can pick up some for a decent price?

Long shot, but figured I'd ask.
I'm looking to trade my Iron Snail Chapter 1s V2 (36x32) and/or FoxFibre Denim (36x32) for the same model in 38x32.
Both pairs have only been tried on. They fit, but are just a bit tighter than I'd like, and unfortunately exchanges are no longer possible.
If anyone ordered a 38x32 and found them a little too roomy, I'd love to work out a trade.
Not for sale—only looking for a size swap.
I’ve gotten well over a dozen approved and this is the first denial over a digital signature? Odd, must be a stickler agent.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m probably chasing something that doesn’t exist: the “perfect” concealed carry setup.
Over the last couple of years I’ve gone down the rabbit hole trying different guns, belts, holsters, wedges, pillows, ride heights, cant, etc. Every time I think I’ve found the setup, I wear it for a week or two and eventually find something that bugs me.
So far, the most successful combination for me has actually been Tenicor holsters. Oddly enough, I seem to carry mid-size and full-size guns (Glock 19/Glock 45, Staccato P4) more comfortably than shorter-slide guns. The longer slide seems to anchor the gun better, while shorter-slide guns tend to want to tip outward or “topple” over the belt, especially when I sit down.
Lately I’ve been trying to make appendix carry work with a Tier 1 Concealed holster, but I haven’t quite found that sweet spot yet. It’s not unbearable, but it’s also not something I completely forget I’m wearing.
At this point, I think I’ve accepted that concealed carry is always going to involve some compromise. My goal isn’t “I can’t feel it anymore,” it’s “comfortable enough that I don’t make excuses to leave it at home.”
For those of you who’ve been carrying for years:
- Was there a point where everything just “clicked?”
Did you find that body mechanics mattered more than holster brand?
- Are there adjustments (ride height, wedge size, pillow, belt tension, positioning, etc.) that made a bigger difference than buying another holster?
I’m mostly looking for ideas I may not have considered yet rather than recommendations to buy another holster.
Hey everyone! Looking to pick up a Steam Machine for my younger brother’s birthday. He’s wanting to get into PC gaming with as little friction as possible, and I think it’d make a great first gaming PC.
I’m already on the waitlist, but with his birthday coming up I’m hoping to find one here, even if it means paying a reasonable premium over MSRP.
PayPal ready and open to all SKUs.
Please comment before sending a PM. Before payment is sent, I’ll need a timestamped video showing the unit powers on and functions as expected.
Thanks! 🙂
Hoping to hear from someone who's shot/own both and what they thought about the recoil impulse. Currently own a Staccato CS but love glocks and my over-optimizing brain is saying get the 43x and pair it with the ramjet for a more "tame" gun.
I’m looking to buy my first dedicated 5.56 can and have been eyeing the Otter Creek Labs Polonium K. I found one for around $454, which seems like a really strong entry point.
Main hosts would be short 5.56 rifles like a DD MK18, HK MR556A4 11”, MCX/Spear LT, and similar AR-pattern rifles. I originally thought about doing the “one can to rule them all” thing for 5.56 and .308, but I’m leaning away from that now because swapping adapters/muzzle devices across everything sounds like a pain. I’d rather start with a good 5.56 can and add a .30 cal can later.
My main concerns are:
The Polo K seems like a great value, but I keep seeing the usual comments that it’s not exactly low-back-pressure and may be gassy depending on the host. I’m not opposed to tuning buffers/springs/charging handles if needed, but I also don’t want my first suppressor experience to be miserable.
For those of you who have run the Polonium K on short 5.56 guns, would you still recommend it as a first can? Or would you spend more for a lower-back-pressure option right away?
Trying to balance price, sound, and shootability without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
I’ve bought and shot a lot of ARs during the Virginia panic-buy sprint, ranging from very practical to financially irresponsible, and I wasn’t necessarily expecting the DD MK18 to be the one that surprised me the most.
But holy hell, the MK18 fucks.
Mine is the Mil-Spec+ version with the Geissele trigger and muzzle brake, and I don’t know the correct technical term here, but it blew my socks off both figuratively and concussively.
The shooting sensation is hard to describe. It is definitely loud and a little obnoxious, but the brake makes the gun feel almost frozen in place. It is like the recoil gets deleted and replaced with a pressure wave. Not subtle, not polite, but extremely fun.
I know a braked 10.3” 5.56 is probably not the most practical indoor/home-defense setup unless you hate your own ears and everyone standing next to you, but as a range gun? This thing is absurdly enjoyable.
After this whole sprint, I wanted one Daniel Defense that felt iconic enough to keep post-ban, and I think I picked the right one. The MK18 is small, violent, flat-shooting, and just has that “oh, I get it now” factor.
I’ve owned/shot plenty of nice ARs lately, but this little bastard immediately earned its spot.
Well boys, it’s officially a few minutes past midnight, so unless the courts decide to hand us a surprise DLC, the ban is now effectively in effect. After weeks of panic-buying, spreadsheet math, poor financial decisions, VSP purgatory, FFL chaos, tracking refreshes, and one final SCAR 17S transfer that had me sweating bullets until the approval finally came in, I think I can finally say I grabbed basically everything I could reasonably and unreasonably want.
Now that the music has stopped, I’m curious:
What’s everyone’s “one that got away”?
Not necessarily the biggest grail or most expensive thing, but the one thing you wish you had squeezed in before the clock ran out.
For me, I don’t have many regrets, if any. But if I had to pick one, maybe a true AK instead of defaulting to the Galil ACE. I just didn’t have enough time left to properly research AKs, figure out what was actually worth buying, and avoid panic-buying the wrong one. So I took the safer route with the Galil.
Could be worse. But still, the AK itch is probably the one little loose thread.
What did you guys miss?
I’m still pending my approval from my 4473 which was submitted yesterday morning. Has anyone been approved so far today? Just fishing for some hope 🥲.
Anyone at Xcal, trying to gauge queue times. Seems like the PSA link is dead and the usual one is frozen?
Nothing like making one final “responsible adult” purchase before the deadline and realizing the delivery window, FFL intake queue, and VSP background check timeline have all joined forces to form the world’s dumbest escape room.
Package arrives today, supposedly. FFLs are slammed. VSP is VSP. My background checks usually enjoy taking the scenic route, and I am refreshing tracking like a raccoon on espresso.
I know I’m not the only one who has done this to themselves, so to everyone else currently stress-watching tracking numbers, refreshing email, calling FFLs, and bargaining with the Commonwealth: I see you.
At this point I’m not even asking for much. Just one clean intake, one mercifully fast approval, and maybe a small miracle.
If you see a guy in NoVA quietly stress-sweating near an FFL counter this week, no you didn’t.
Disclaimer before I get roasted for waiting until the last second: I already got 99% of the fun toys I wanted during the great Virginia panic sprint. This is just the final “surely this will be fine” bonus round.
Update: Against all odds, Xcal pulled through and my 4473 has been submitted 😭**. Now we wait for VSP to approve before tomorrow COB and we should (hopefully) be good. Godspeed to those still finishing up** 🫡**.**
Got my email for an approval from yesterday and curious if the party still going on. Also, got too many cool guns and no folks to talk to about them. Y’all got a discord?
Are the HK handguns not very popular? I've been very interested in grabbing the VP9A1 X/K after getting the 556 & 762 rifles and was surprised to find out that neither Tenicor nor T1C make holsters for pretty much none of the newer models. I've got a good bit of other guns and default to these two companies for conceal holsters so it's given me a bit of pause when trying to replace my two gun rotation for summer and winter carry.
Just had 2 forms approved, both submitted as individuals:
PWS MK111: 06/10 – 06/24
HK SP5: 06/09 – 06/24
Most of my others are submitted under my trust, with a few also submitted as individuals.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some input, primarily from women who carry daily.
My wife is 5'2" and plus size. She has taken her concealed carry class, and I’m ready to buy her first true carry gun. We’ve been looking at options like the Shield X and P365X, but before I focus too much on the gun itself, I want to better understand what actually works for women day to day.
For those of you who carry regularly, what setup has been the most comfortable, safe, and reliable for you? I’m especially interested in hearing from women with a similar body type or anyone who has had to experiment with different carry methods.
Things I’m curious about:
What holster/carry method worked best for you?
AIWB, strong side, belly band, Enigma, purse/crossbody, etc.
What did not work for you?
How much did clothing choice affect your setup?
Any tips for making carry consistent instead of something that only works with certain outfits?
A little extra context: she likes gothic/alt style stuff and currently carries a BlackCraft handbag I gifted her. So if anyone has recommendations for safe concealed carry bags, crossbody bags, or anything in that general style, I’d love to hear those too. But the main thing I’m looking for is real-world input on what helps women conceal comfortably, safely, and consistently.
Thanks in advance.
Looking for feedback on if it’s worth buying the whole “pistol” or if I’m better off just buying the complete upper and pairing it with one of my Griffin MK2 lowers.
Looking to pick up the X tactical model and also really want the midnight bronze color but it doesn’t seem like there’s a sku. Could I just get the tactical model and buy the bronze slide?
Picking up my last 3 rifles this weekend, which officially closes out the I-spent-way-too-fucking-much-money-thanks-abby chapter. Still got a few stragglers on order though - Chisel stock for the 1301, some HK mags for the future VP9X. How's everyone else wrapping up?
