Hey Swifties, what’s up on this side of Reddit? So I’ve been a Kanye fan for a while, and have known about the beef between Taylor and him, but I always am open to expanding my music taste (even though I mostly listen to rap), so I decided to listen to her full discography. Here are my top three albums a month later.

TTPD. Wow. The storytelling in this album is just so good, and it really sets such an angsty scene. I did not except this album to be good when I looked at the bloated tracklist, but it has grown on me a lot. I love the lyricism especially in the anthology section of the album. I love how vulnerable the album is, and my favorite song is probably The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived (the build up is awesome)
Folklore. I know this is one of her most popular albums, but it’s for good reason. The production is minimalistic, and can I emphasize the story telling? I’m just blown away by this album, and my fav song is probably Exile, and the Bon Iver feature is awesome (was also on a Kanye song in 2010)
Speak Now. This album is so fierce and personal in a way that can be replayed often. I adore the song Haunted, and the aggressiveness of songs like Better than Revenge. Enchanted is also just beautiful and magically, and the production is incredibly done.

Fair is fair, Taylor Swift does make pretty good music, even to someone who mostly listens to rap 🫶 here’s to giving new music a try
