Decaying alchemy ingredients and food.

What's your take? I thought I would want this until I played KCD2 and I'm noticing all of the herbs I picked were poor quality or the food had spoiled. 😕 I know there's a way to reduce the impact or prevent this from happening but I kind of didn't enjoy it overall. 🤔 Just because its more realistic, didn't make it more fun. For ME. What are your thoughts?

Modders in this sub?

Just curious if there are any modders in this sub that made mods for Skyrim? Do you plan to make mods for Tes6? If so, do you already have ideas brewing?

IF Tes6 is xbox/pc exclusive at launch, will you be able to play on launch day without having to purchase an xbox/pc?

This is not meant to be a debate on whether or not it will be exclusive at launch. This is a big IF. We dont know how this will play out. Just curious how many of us only have Playstation, Nintendo, or other devices and would be left out on day 1.

"Tomorrow"...

People make legit posts and want to have real conversations. However, lately people's posts have been littered with "tomorrow". I know the trolls will not stop. But please, have some decency, keep your head up, and let people discuss topics without this nonsense. Its getting very old imo. New people join this sub and id like for them to have a chance and not think were all crazy.

Door and post warped. Help!

If you're looking at it from the outside, the left door and post are warped. The right door is still straight. What can I do to help with the warp? I really dont want to have to get a new post/door. This fence is about 2 years old and has been stained/sealed. Any help is appreciated. The good boy thinks it needs fixed too lol

If Bethesda could partner with an author for TES6, who should it be?

In the way that George R. R. Martin was involved in Elden Ring or R A. Salvatore with Kingdoms of Amalur.

Traverse with arrows

It would be cool if you could shoot arrows into a tree or building and swing from arrow to arrow or climb/jump up to the next arrow for more immersive traversing.

Or shooting an arrow from rooftop to rooftop or tree to tree to create a zipline or grapple slide would be awesome as well.

Bandits could do this as well.

The arrows can be burned/destroyed if theyre wooden, so if you throw a fireball fast enough at the arrow, it would stop the bandit form reaching his destination. But an arrow made of metal gets hot and depending on if the bandit is wearing gloves or not affects the outcome.

Ziplines can be made of rope and burned or made of wire and be stronger but can be electrified or corroded with acid.

Ziplines could also be used as tripwire for people or creatures. Larger creatures may break right through weaker wire.

I love ASMR

The Elder Scrolls have always had an ASMR element to them, whether this was accidental or not. I hope they really lean in to this aspect of the game. I love me some ASMR and TES already has some of the examples I'm about to list but I would like to see them expanded upon and more sound varieties for each. AND NO, I'm not talking about NPC's walking up to you and making random sounds in your ears lol.

Things that could intensify the ASMR: could be done by your character or other NPC's.

The sound of light rain on the ground, tree leaves, rooftops, the sizzle of putting out a fire, etc.

Cooking sizzles, boils, pops, scrapes of a knife over fresh-baked bread, stirring something goopy, kneading and pounding dough, chopping meats/veggies.

Fire: more crackles, pops, whistles, ashes/coals settling, stirring the fire. Different foods have different sizzle sounds if you toss them on an open fire.

The crunch of leaves sounds different based on your weight, as well as walking on wood floors creaking more if you're heavier.

Different trees leaves sounding different in the breeze.

NPC's eating sounds different. Some are proper, and some eat slopily.

The turning of pages can be done slower or faster with sounds to match.

Brushing up against objects you character may rub their hand across a rock for that gritty sound or knock on a wooden table.

Animals/creatures: Breathing sounds, chewing, itching, nesting, stamping the ground, chatter, more birds chirping, flapping, bathing, baby birds chirping for worms, etc.

NPC's humming, singing, or talking to themselves or just making more grunts, breathing sounds(depending on weight, health, age), sighs, lip-smacking, whispers, and oohs and aahhs.

More NPC's playing random instruments, or attempting to.

Aquatic creatures splashing, swimming, squirting, etc.

Creatures skittering in the sand or in the bushes.

Other ASMR activities that people enjoy watching such as: cleaning their area, cleaning objects, doing detail work, tinkering, carving, crafting, hair brushing, applying makeup, personal attention, exams, drawing, painting, or writing, crinkling of scrolls being rolled/unrolled, organizing, and so many more.

The ambiance of TES is automatically ASMR triggering. I'm sure they've already thought of this and are going to amp it up. Any particular triggers you have that you'd like them to add?

Perler creation of Dragonborn. I wonder if we will find the helmet in TES6.
