The Future of Rule #3? The Joust - New Physics-Based Fighting Game - Semi-Public Playtest
Dear r/Fighters,
Hello! I'm here today to introduce a fun new fighting game to this subreddit! This subreddit has a bunch of great people that enjoy fighting games, so it seems like a great place to invite some folks to play!
I'm the lead architect, primary engineer, game designer, and one of two sound producers for The Joust.
The Joust is currently in a semipublic playtest on Steam and we're hoping to get feedback from the internet at large about how the game plays and how it might perform on their various hardwares around the world!
We believe The Joust is a great game over which redditors can settle Rule #3 disputes around here.
Attached is the first public press-kit document for The Joust and it's semi-public playtest!
Also attached is a list of Steam Keys that can be redeemed via:
Games > Activate a Product on Steam > {enter code}
Note: they're annoyingly in image format because a bunch of bots ate all of the last ones!
The Joust Community Discord is rapidly expanding as well:
Questions welcome and encouraged!
Most gratefully,
The Joust
p.s. we have playable quadrupeds!
