Moreover the OP writes, that "the particular user is smartly suggesting few other colleges along with it". Then how come it becomes a PR? The person would just explore those 3-4 colleges and choose the best he/she thinks!!!

So recently I found a secret Inter-IIT document. Jis IIT me jo company ati hai they convey each other what questions they ask, and build a company wise question bank. If we could get united and do something similar, maybe in future we could counter IITs.

Don'ts:
- Smoking, drinking, drugs, impregnating.
- Unnecessary fighting and arguing with stupid seniors.
- Beefing with professors.
- Ignoring CGPA.
- Crying over your past mistakes.
- Being introverted. (Yes, it limits your growth)
- Partying and hanging out all the time.
- Trying to fit in with people you don't like.
- Ignoring Projects and just grinding DSA.
- Learning just for the sake of getting a job.
- Chasing trends.
Do's:
- Be humble asf.
- Switch to Linux and rice it. If you're a beginner, remove Windows and install Arch Linux manually, it's the easiest option for switching. Learn vim for extra aura.
- Learn touch typing.
- Learn to do online research.
- Start using books and docs for learning stuff. (Use lectures when they are of high quality)
- Be curious asf. Whenever a question comes to your mind, head straight to an LLM and ask it.
- Use LLMs for learning stuff and breaking down complex topics. If you don't understand a particular concept, tell it to explain like you're a five year old. You can also generate questions to test your understanding.
- Explore every domain of CS in your first year. You should at least have a basic idea about everything.
- Build crazy ass fundamentals.
- Learn basic C++ and start DSA. Just 1 hour every day.
- To fall in love with CS, you'll have to understand computers first; do that.
- Build the habit of project based learning. You learn something -> implement it immediately.
- Start fucking around and finding out.

Recently I saw a couple of guys posting fake negative reviews abt the clg so that they could get a seat in it and then asking about when orientation would be taking place 😂 (one guy has exposed him recently)
Also one guy was manipulating a 47k ranker guy and telling him not to take the college with a wrong placement percentage data of 46% in ETC, while college actual% is 76+% in ETC, u can checkout on Linkedin
I would like to clear I m a placement coordinator from IT branch. I honestly would tell good ETC people bag off-campus offers mostly. And the ETC guys who take placement on-campus also get oppurtunity in all IT jobs including 60LPA, 44LPA and all....but you know our senior's batch who took on campus couldnt crack that package.
If college is calling company allowing all the eligible students sit in it irrespective of branch...now isnt it in the hand of students to crack the company? in 2023-2024 highest pkg of ETC was 36LPA. Why? bcz the batch had a capable student!!
This year it wasnt there!
Next year again if we have a capable student in ETC, we might have highest from ETC.
SO placement cell is proving equal opportunities for all the branches. It depends on you! 🫵🏻

Tech Society would help you to build ur coding skills if u r interested. U would literally find roadmap and best resources in its discord channel
We also have Music Band-Nirvaan; Famous among college in bbsr for winning various competitions. You can join it too if you have a hobby!
We also have a TARS Lab (Robotics Lab) where u can join and innovate whatever you like, we have most of the components, and tools you might need!
and many more clubs and socities!
We also a decent sports culture: Specially Basketball courts are good here. Lawn Tennis is tere too. Volleyball, Cricket, sometimes football (As we have a common play ground for cricket and football) and Table Tennis too, and badminton too (badminton we have outdoor court for now)
college has got funds for making Student Activity Center and a giant auditorium, but dont get ur hopes too high as its a govt college, there is couple of years to make it completely i think....but anyways the above facilities are there for us for now!
