Wc3 Cantina with arena spectate (+at-st/metal chicken)

So far, arena one will repeatedly occur to spectate and place bets on. If players use the arena it will pause the NPC battles. I'll randomise the armies for each battle when betting/spectating the NPC battles.

I put this together in 4 hours this afternoon so it's definitely gonna get better when I get more time again. The arena is a bit lame with only one spectating angle ATM.

I'll work on Pazzaak card game next, before I finalize the arena. And the building outside will improve.

Behind the energy doors will be a swoop racing room - with swoop racing! Lol. I think I'll make the maths behind the movement help look past the old-school graphics.

Demon Hunter vs Monk pvp on reworked movement/combat

I think it's a crazy idea to be playing the standard RTS while your 3 team mates are limited to WoW characters with the same combat system, animations while moving, casting bars, mini global cooldown, 8 abilities for each character.. vs the same thing.

We have similar like Dota, but I just don't think it's the same when one player is literally the standard Wc3 RTS with a WoW Shaman team mate.

WoW PvP meets Wc3

I'm only playing against the NPC in the vid, but if you guys think it would be cool to play a 4v4 where 1 player on each team plays the standard Wc3 RTS, and the other 3 of each team plays a World of Warcraft character.

I'm definitely gonna try make it happen.

Wc3 rpg - Nasrudin's Twi-lek Jedi, Asoka?

Credit to Nasrudin on Hiveworkshop, his Twilek Jedi model fit in so well with my reworked movement and animation system that it was impossible not to share even with the colour issue. I will give credits on any game I make, otherwise I'd be thanking the guy for the lamp post model too. But I never gave much appreciation to the guys on Hive - absolute Champions making my dream a potential reality.

The animations took a bit to get the timing, but man she moves like Asoka from the early battlefront days. I played her until midnight and now I'm stuffed for work tomorrow...

I've started to create a cantina in the map which will quickly become a small town for my RPG. Unfortunately, most of the characters you see now will be used for NPC hero characters (that's all my own NPC ai that I'm playing with/against in the vid). Players will be limited to human only because I have the villager 255 animation model - I can make you swap to any weapon style, you can even do emotes like lifting weights, pushups, and dances...

And the cantina will be finished first because I'm making it 3rd person non-combat camera when inside designated areas like towns. I already have a table and bar with an empty trigger ready to write tomorrow after work - Pazzaak - yes, the card gambling game from KotoR, and you will have an interactive background with cards floating in front when playing. I'm gonna race home tomorrow to create the cantina..

Wc3 - simple animation/attack system for your maps

If anyone is interested in having, this movement system allows you to play attack animations while moving. It can stop animations when stunned or other crowd control debuffs. You can make it favour ability animations, stopping a current auto attack animation similar to WoW.

Basically, you can make it function like World of Warcraft in a way.

And.. it's extremely simple. You only need to worry about changing a few numbers - only GUI stuff with solid descriptions.

If this is something that interests you, I am going to create a template map with the triggers that has descriptions amongst what is going on. I think I can simplify things for even the newest beginner.

Wc3 rpg - any fishing fans out there?

This will be a part of any rpg that I make.

So far, health is used for energy for both the player and fish. Both regenerate slowly, and if you run out, you will lose the fish. If the fish runs out, it won't be able to "burst" away (the red exclamation ‼️). Holding Left-Click will pull the fish in and slowly drain energy. Holding left click while the fish bursts away will drain more energy. You also lose the fish if it gets too far away.

Eventually I will add random junk to snag on with "yank" left/right abilities that change the swimming direction of the fish before going into a snag. I will make different fish with unique stats.. eg, more energy, longer burst distance, abilities like "last stand," giving a massive burst away just before being caught, so you have to catch it twice - and quickly - maybe I'll give it a short cooldown. I could make Cod with a unique passive that makes them "burst" away whenever they get lined up with a snag. So you wouldn't be able to bring a Cod anywhere near the snags basically.

I'll make different fishing line weights and better boats and storage to access the best spots.

Wc3 rpg vote - Star Wars KotoR wins by 1

I counted the likes for every comment counting as a vote from my last post and got 18 for KotoR and 17 for Mount and Blade.

That's just unfair to do to me...

But I went and bought a cheap mouse yesterday and I'll have some time off coming up. I might have something new to show them - the stuff in the clip is old and everything is subject to change. The combat will be slightly slower paced for the RPG.

If I make something with some success I will definitely think of making both.

Wc3 rpg dream

I haven't been working on anything for ages. My current project was mostly showing off some ai and gameplay, that's why it's Darth Vader vs ai Goku...

I got really good at the editor and I really want to make a CRAZY rpg for Wc3, but I also want to make something that others would be interested in. It's a wasted talent, and I can put this stuff together really quick now.

I have two options I landed on now -

​

1 - Mount and Blade style co-op with similar army building but it would have less food limit with a warcraft 3 fantasy touch to all the characters. Kind of like combining WoW with Mount and Blade co-op. This could also have enemies teams playing co-op also.

2 - Star Wars Knights of the old Republic style co-op but with more interactive combat. You will be able to purchase a space craft to travel to different planets with enhanced aerial combat. Unlike the original KotoR, you will have to fly all the way to the other planets - not a cutscene. Enemies will always be flying their own ships around in open space and you will be able to upgrade your own as you go. The space feeling is easy to make feel immersive too. I will definitely make a quick clip of the space combat I have in mind if this interests people.
